No absolute correlation between your submission and what's presently happening at SA ;

1. Only "illegal immigrants" (majorly Ghanaians) were directed to leave Nigeria. (That's an offense by itself)

2. Above decision was as a result of the country's economy going downwards

3. The illegal immigrants had the luxury of time to pack "all" their properties because the Nigeria masses never harassed, threatened or loot their properties.

4. The above was because Nigeria masses never felt threatened by the presence of foreigners, no animosity whatsoever and that's why you won't find in print, online or electronic media of Nigerians chasing out the illegal immigrants.

Now , the most important was that the announcement was made by the authorities (Government) in clear and concise manner, not some citizens deciding on their own and giving room for anarchy (like that of SA)
Ghanaians were not into human trafficking and drug peddling so their presence in Nigeria could not have warranted any attacks because they were there to make a living through legal means. Can we say the same about Nigerians and other illegal immigrants in South Africa? ABSOLUTELY NOT.You wanna know why the citizens have taken it upon themselves to clean the streets? they have complained about criminals from other African countries for so long but the government is too slow to listen and South Africans are not the type of people to wait hundred years for an answer.

It seems you are black South African? I will like to know what you think about the attack on foreigners from African countries. What is the relationship between the whites and blacks like?
I don't really know what my thoughts are to be honest. Why the interest in relationship between blacks and whites in SA?...I wanna get the correlation before I answer.

Your own Nigeria might be the way you have both described her but mine is still the giant of Africa. S.A. has tried desperately, but cannot surpass Nigeria. Only those in strategic position understand what I am talking about. Without Nigeria, S.A. is absolutely nothing. Probably if Nigeria had not stepped in to their case, the blacks there would still have padlocks in their lips working on farms, or breaking heavy stones while mining gold for the whites.

Let Nigeria move her citizens from S.A, the probability that other nations will follow is high. Thenafter, lets see how South Africa will survive. Even their women understand it more than the two of you.

Keep on saying negative stuff about your fatherland, you definitely will both not prosper within her. And you go abroad, definitely, you will get the S.A. treatment.

I have walked in streets in Europe, and police stopped me to check me, and after, the first comment was that Nigeria super eagles is a great team. There was a time "skin heads" chased me and I ran into another group of white folks, and quickly explained myself. They bombarded the thugs and kept shouting that they wanted to beat the son of the giant of Africa.

Well, I have been embarrassed in airports, no doubts, but I think the founding fathers of the black Americans suffered same. Nigeria is bouncing back by God's grace. I don't know how because I will not deny the fact that things are bad, but there is hope. S.A. should have overtaken Nigeria with all that is happening around, but for that not to happen, there is hope.

While you are condemning Nigeria, there are many out there really cherishing her. Of course, your own Nigeria might be desert, but mine is a fertile land. I may decide to relocate abroad tomorrow, but that will not stop my businesses from functioning in Nigeria. I have closed my eyes to the bad elements in Nigeria, but to hunt for the good ones. There are terrible Nigerians here, even on nairaland, but I have chosen to ignore their s.tupi.dity henceforth. You can choose to continue cursing your own Nigeria, and block the heaven over you with a strong brass. But my Nigeria is filled with showers of blessings running over me. Too much blessings! The way Isaac made his wealth in time of farmine is how I am making mine.

You are funny.... most developed only in infrastructure. Based on economy we are the largest. The under 30 list released by Forbes Nigerians has the highest number. The list of most reputable people in Africa released by Forbes, we have the highest number. Nigerians have 4 billionaires who are blacks. SA has 5 billionaires and only one of them is a black (Mr. Patrice).
In terms of industry..... let's examine the 5 main industries of an economy... considering Entertainment Industry, we are the largest and the richest. For Banking Industry we are the richest and largest. In terms of Telecommunications Industry... you have MTN which is not even owned by a black SA, we have Glo own by the second richest man in Africa. In terms of Mining/Production you have mining industries more than us and we too have Oil and Gas industries... the refinery which we will be using Dangote Refinery will be ready next year and will seal up that industry perfectly. We produce cars here (IVM), your spot car production is more like play play not Business oriented like our own. We are the largest in terms of Rice, Cassava and Yam production. We have many manufacturing industries and even if you have more than us we still compete in this area in Africa. And the last Industry, ICT Biz we have many companies... infact in terms of Fintech Companies we lead in Africa... the likes of Interswitch, Paystack Flutterwave etc. We have Andela and co.
Your unemployment rate higher than our own. Truly you are ahead of us in terms of Education but only in terms of education infrastructure. In terms of education performance we lead in Africa. So many things to compare. Even the infrastructure where you glaringly lead us we still follow you bomber to bomber. Cape Town is the most beautiful and most developed city in Africa and Abuja is the second in Africa and it was built by us unlike Cape Town that was built by the Whites.

Truly Nigeria, SA and Egypt are the countries leading in Africa but out of the three Nigeria is the Giant.
My question is:Do you think Nigeria is capable of bringing South Africa to it's knees?

I get ur point. But they aint the once burning our properties and killing us. Thats what i was getting at... If na deportation issue, even Trumps America wants all immigrants gone. But they aint killing us for it!
Of course they won't be in the streets physically but if you think their silence on this matter means that they support foreigners then you are completely out of touch with reality.Go into their neighbourhoods and sell your drugs to their kids and let's see.White South Africans are tired of being accused of racism so what makes you think they would get their hands dirty in things like this? ...use your brains people!!

If you wanna know anything about Whites in SA ask a Black South African and stop forming meaningless opinions. We lived with these folks for 400 years and we have some of them as neighbors.

Funny enough, the white South Africans, who control 80% of South Africas wealth & who should b racist are quiet, its our fellow blacks who hate us the most.

See her face like Dogue de Bordeaux (French mastiff). Pls if u dont know the dog kindly google and see the likeness, i aint joking.
What are you talking about? the white dominated party (the DA) wanted to win the last elections so they could deport all illegal immigrants to their countries and seal the South African border tight again.Remember always that if it weren't for the ANC most you would have never been able to enter SA.

While at it,sharing of a skin colour is not a prerequisite for us to love anyone,if you behave like a piece of shìt you get exactly what's coming your way.

Nigeria may have issues today but we will come out strong cos we are strong willed individuals and the last time I check we dominate/control the entertainment industry in Africa, we are the KING here in Africa be it in music, movie and comedy .I bet u can't beat that.

Our leaders just have to cut down on thier greed to have a better Nigeria .

South Africa is beginning to feel the heat. Laziness is a complex disease which births poverty. And the fruits are hatred, bitterness, and terrorism.

Any African country Nigeria turns against is in serious trouble. Now, South Africa will realise who Nigeria truly is.
We already know who Nigeria truly is,a country not long ago overtook India to be the poverty capital. With an image like that what can the gi-ANT of Africa really do to South Africa? South Africa didn't become the most developed country in Africa through some stupid films so you can boycott them all you want, zero fvcks are given this side.

Julius Malema is a true pan africanist in the mold of Nelson Mandela and Thabo Mbeki. Usurpers like Zuma and ramaphosa don't know what leadership is all about. For them it's all about power
Nelson Mandela and Thabo Mbeki were men of dignity and principle.Malema on the other hand is not even remotely close to those qualities.
PoliticsRe: Xenophobia: Why We Closed Our Embassy In Nigeria – South Africa by JaceBlaze:
manomam:
A lot of Black South Africans (especially those at the bottom of the pyramid), have always had issues with the rapidly expanding and often highly resourceful African community in their country.
These set of South African citizens, unfortunately, see fellow Africans as low hanging fruits that they can throw sticks at, kill, rape, steal from and bully, without serious repercussions from their government or security apparatus.
Personally, I have had black South Africans ask me if I am Ibo or Yoruba while I was in South Africa. I asked why and they said if I was Ibo they would have been wary of me! I personally thought that was a load of crap, profiling a whole tribe based on the sins of a few.
I have had a South African lady tell me to my face that Nigeria is a Banana Republic! I remember the venom in her voice and the disdain in her eyes.
I have had a black South African hotel manager yell at me to allow him finish what he was saying and not interrupt him because he profiled me as an arrogant and aggressive Nigerian.
Fact is, there is a lot of anger in that land, maybe due to the years of suppression they suffered during the long period of apartheid, or maybe be other underlying issues. This has made a lot of them disillusioned and unsure of self.
The swag and never-say-die spirit of the Nigerian is also a major point of irritation for a lot of South Africans, because we just seem to swoop in, take over the whole place and start living their dreams right in front of them!
However, let's not forget that we also tend to piss people off with our loud, showy, noisy and in-your-face lifestyles and quite a number of our people are involved in a lot of unsavory things.
Let's also remember that we treat ourselves like crap in our own country, we kill, kidnap and decimate ourselves and sadly, our government seems to have abandoned us to our fate and we constantly and viciously demarket ourselves and our country in cyberspace, forgetting that others are watching and learning.
I believe we need to reassess our individual relationships as Nigerians, before we reassess our relationship with South Africa and its people. There's a lot for us to do to get from where we are to where we are supposed to be.
This time however, our government should stop speaking grammar and make a strong statement in this regard, because really, enough is enough.
God bless.
The bolded is exactly why the world hate Nigerians, nothing more, nothing less. The beginning of your post is just words of a self-conceited man who's reluctant to embrace the reality.Nigerians who came here with a purpose of bettering their lives through legal means will never experience xenophobic attacks. Why are Nigerians getting lynched in countries like India,Malaysia,China etc?

I like Julius, for all his errors he is a work in progress towards that which will empower the under classed African against the mighty grip of capitalism that needs reformation but is stubborn because it takes power away from its beneficiaries.
Yeah I know, those elders who got their life savings looted from the VBS bank by EFF were truly empowered angry .Malema is a Mugabe in the making but thank God he will never be a president in South Africa,NOT IN THIS LIFETIME.

This is the problem you South Africans have, so insulated and small minded. You think the world began in cape town and ended at the Limpopo province, ne!

I enjoy African politics in general and South African politics in particular because it stands as the most liberal democracy in operation within Black Africa and a litmus test to see if "Africans" in general given inherited democractic structures such as that which exists in your country will preserve. This is the reason why Julius is popular across many borders.

Open your eyes to the bigger picture!
I have no problem with you enjoying SA politics and that of a continent as a whole,I just won't tolerate being called names for not voting EFF,you don't see me complaining about how Nigerians casted their ballots.

IronGalaxy lionessza6 and JaceBlaze what do you have to say regarding this recent xenophobic killingshuh majority of you Sans are xenophobic and envious of other hardworking Africans...
it's kinda funny that all Africans except South Africans knows why Sans are suffering, they are all looking at it but they can't confront it. The whites that has taken over every sector of the country during the over 100yrs of apartheid are the problems of you Sans and why can't you confront them? You are killing those who are doing menial jobs
The xenophobic attacks would have occurred on a larger scale if majority of us were xenophobic, foreigners would have no space to set foot in if what you are saying was the case. Why queue up for visa just to end up in a xenophobic county then?

As for us being envious, what's there to be envious of?
