XhosaNostra: JaceBlaze, do you know this one? Check out Queen from Generation. She's one of the backup singers. The song was huge when it came out. Brings back fond memories at my father's tavern, back when I used to be a majaivane lol
Yeah,Freddie is still popular in kasi tarvens.I see her, looks so young here.By the way is it just me or Mr Gwala's music is liked by ex-convicts mostly? I wonder why
omerukokwuru: just imagine nigeria was at the forefront of liberating SA from apartheid, and provided asylum to 2 of her president, Mandela and Mbeki gave financial support human support, boycotted olympics for her freedom, now look at how SA is paying us back, without nigeria relentless campaign and sacrifice what will be of SA?
mysticwarrior: am taking about miss world not miss USA, without being among the world rulers you can still promote the beauty of black south African women by taking them to win world beauty contest, that would go a long way in the quest to achieve your cherished desire.
Let's just cut the talks, bring her picture and I'll take it from there I want to see the skunk
mysticwarrior: trash, so disappointing from someone who boast of the beauty of south African woman, just a simple question and he is here writing history, all the same a Nigerian remains the first and only black woman to ever win the miss world contest, it is a record that is written in Bold pages of beauty history and there is nothing you can do to change that.
This South African born beauty has won Miss USA 2013,her name is Nana Mariewether but you don't see us make noise about these things because we simply don't care.We even win in another country
Miss universe or not,the black South African woman remains a model by which the qualities of femininity are to be measured,in fact if I was among the elite rulers of the world I be would pushing for the enaction of the law that compel every country in all seven continents to have a statue of a black South African woman erected so people can bow in front of it.
mysticwarrior: I have just one question for you, how many black miss world has South African produced? pls be very honest.
For the record,I don't give a single FÙCK about beauty pageants and all these miss whatever contests
- I think the real question you should be asking is how many black South African women have participated.
- The Nigerian won miss world at a time when South Africans were still fight for freedom and cared less about silly beauty pageants,we had a bigger fish to fry.Do you really believe that a Nigerian godzilla would have had a chance if South Africans participated?
- How many have you won since the first one?
- Do we really need to have a South African miss world before we appreciate the beauty of our African women?
Man,your commodore dragons can't even rub shouldes with Zimbabweans. South Africans will drag your women's yansh through the mud
caprini1: Like a page on facebook calle South Africa Today,,and see the kind of hedious crimes committed against whites in SA not reported by the press.
Does your media give the correct stats on innocent Christians slaughtered by Boko Haram each year?
Chauke: Nobody invited Nigerians to South Africa if things are bad for them they can move to the next country either DRC or South Sudan, there are plenty options if they do not want to go back to Nigeria. They have a choice of other 53 African countries to go and hustle.
South Sudan na better option abi? nawa for naija ooo
At least their basic amenities are well financed, and not to mention you don't see them crossing African borders illegally in desperate search for the promised land, they have it all at home.If that little piece up there gave you a penìs erection then just know that you are fooling yourself
XhosaNostra: I agree with you there. Now they're catering to a much younger generation. I find most shows today boring, TBH.
Lol, I 1st heard it from Danielle Bricolli on the Dr Phil Show. She was telling some audience members who disagreed with her attitude (& Dr Phil himself) to cash her outside
The bolded is so true.I don't even recall the last time I followed a local drama religiously. This new generation is dumb of course, which why a shìtty soapie like Generations The Legacy is still on air lol
LOL I heard it in MTV's Ridiculousness during an awkward argument between Chanel West coast and Charlamagne
XhosaNostra: I beg to disagree. The 90s, not only did it have the best dramas, but it also had the best actors. Those were the people who loved their craft. Today's actors don't even come close because they have it easy. Back then, it was only about telling a story (convincingly), unlike today, where it's mostly about looks & putting on a fashion show.
One of my favourite scenes from an old Xhosa drama (I don't have the full hilarious scene between these two) He's basically saying, "Cash me outside"
The actors were great.I guess what I really meant is that people today can't fully relate with the content because these soapies/dramas were made in a different era in South Africa.People's mindsets have shifted drastically,South Africa of today is not like the one from the 90's.The acting did resonate with the times and it was great too but I just don't see a 2000's born watching these dramas and enjoying them lol .
LOL they look like they were ready to take it to the skreet .Who coined "cash me outside" frase cause I hear people saying it all the time?
And they know how to rock afro and braids pretty well
I'm actually beginning to think God molded a black South African woman to be the standard by which the beauty of all black women in the world will be judged.Thank your Lord for for such marvellous creation
IronGalaxy: yeah, I've see her , very beautiful lady. Looks South African actually. There's another one called Nadia Bihari, she's hot also. Everyone on the continent avoids Nigerians and hardly anyone has anything bad to say about the Congolese, Ethiopians etc why's that?
The bolded is exactly what makes her the full package
patriotism aside,we all know South African women got godly bodies.
IronGalaxy: ; they never look at themselves, that's the problem. They call others barbaric, ugly, charcoal, lazy etc but they fill all the above criteria
They live in an upside down universe.Bleaching their faces while their knuckles look like they were dipped in crude oil got them thinking they are the shìt,can you believe they call Ghanaians ugly but Ghanaian women look 100x more feminine than theirs? in fact South African women and Ghanaian women got similar body structures.
mysticwarrior: wow the last guy in the picture share a similar resemblance with former Bafana Bafana player Mbulelo Mabizela, and Channel O anchorer Kabelo.
Look at those Orcs pics and then look at your uncles below and let's see who are the closest relatives to the creatures
1st pic is your goal keeper,oh and the guy is 19 years old ?
IronGalaxy: At the end of the day, we both know that in the looks department, you,'ll always play second fiddle to the South Africans. You can continue saying what you don't believe, I'll watch from the sidelines
Lol they like to call people ugly but we all know who share genetics with Orcs in "The Lord of the rings"
IronGalaxy: Look who's talking? Lol. Nigerians are savages extradonaire don't get it twisted..Who kills their own brethren for human organs for juju rituals for money,? who stuff drugs inside dead bodies in coffins if not Nigerians? Who stone adulterers in broad daylight? If that's not downright barbaric I don't what it is. You guys, are uncivilised, uncultured, loud, crass, rude and have no class, ever wondered why you rub everyone in every country you find yourselves the wrong way? You simply fail to assimilate in sane environments, it's no mistake you're the capital of open defecation next to the Indians
slowice: Funny people, they blame Nigerians for their own problems....of course Nigerians doing drugs over share part of the blame, so does South Africans patronising drug dealers. If there is no market for it illicit drug trade ll die normally. The police in sa also need to step up there game,do there investigation and arrest the culprits.
LOL I bet you think you sound intellegent,so the real problem is hoisted on addiction and not the people selling illegal substances?
Imagine blaming innocent people who fell victim to Boko Haram insurgences and saying they deserved to be slaughtered because they became Christians knowing that there was Islam extremist on the loose killing Christians.
so what's your excuse for trafficking minors into prostitution? let's hear the logic.
