@ Loyika,

I am glad i have commited u to say it.
Your last comment will be saved and i'll remind u when United tops the table in December.
Why are u sounding like u just started watching the Premiership last night?
Are u aware the points seperating Chelsea FC and Man Utd can drop to just 1 point come 6pm this sunday? grin grin grin grin

I saw Chelsea last night.
They are not outstanding with their game play but are grinding out results.
Reading could have that match done n dusted if they believed in emselves.
If Reading had played Chelsea the way they played us . . . . . .We could have scored 5 goals on the day.
The Match stats should give u an idea of how many saves Cech had to make to deny Reading FC and after losing another player to a RED CARD, there was no way they could get a grip to equalise.

As it is today . . . . . . .Man Utd is still on course to retain the title.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Jackal(m): 1:15pm On Aug 16, 2007
@ Loyika,

For Bleep's Sake . . . . . . . . You don't have to drop 3000 bars to drive your points home.
It is still an early season and the run of games for each team is different.
If Reading had the run of games that Everton started with . . . . .They would be on 6 points instead of the 1 point they have and thats why its called a league.
Chelsea having 6 points doesn't necessarily mean they are the best in the land after just TWO GAMES.
That being said, we all know 2 draws is a bad start for Man Utd's standard but its still a long way to go and i wont HIT the panic buttons yet.
Even when we won last season, Reading and Pompey were bogey teams for Man Utd so i can't be bovvered yet.

The real acid test is when we draw swords with Man City on sunday and Chelsea square dances with the Scousers.
It could go Chelsea's way or turn United's way with just a point below Chelsea after 3 games which blows the title open once more.
Blimey, its not even January or February yet and some moronic ladies are having their bouts of orgasmic fits about Man Utd not reaching their heights.

If Fergie loses his 1st 10 matches, he would still qualify for UEFA champions league in the Premiership. Its a birth-right for Man Utd and the team quality will speak for itself. The same Arsenal went to Pompey last season and could only grind a draw.
Reading went to the Bridge last season and played 2-2 draw with Chelsea so these teams are not entirely crappy as some fucktards on Nairaland think.
Lets look at it, Team A plays 10 matches. . . . . .WINS 1st 7 matches and loses the last 3
Team B plays 10 matches . . . . .Draws 1st 4 matches and WINS the next 6 matches . . . . . .Who has got more points? Do the math.
Its the outcome of 38 games that determines the winner and nobody can tell me either Chelsea, Arsenal or Liverpool will go on and win all their 38 games. Points are bound to be dropped in every head to head game this season and the 1st one comes up next weekend.

Without Roon and Ronnie, Man Utd still has quality in the new buys.
Unless one is myopic or suffers from acute conjuctivitis, TEVEZ is class and NANI has got prospects to take United to the top.
The lads played extremely well last night but there was no end product and they lack the cutting edge to push Pompey apart.
I'm def'ly sure United will blow Man City away on Sunday. Trust Fregie to turn the screw when all hopes are down.
United came from a 1-4 defeat of Boro to beat Chelsea that had a 10 match winning streak in 2004/05 season so i am not really bovvered about this team.
Fergie has assembled the best squad he's ever had since he became the manager of this club and its only a matter of time before things start geling.
Like i have said earlier . . . . . . .Write off this team at your own peril!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Jackal(m): 8:41am On Aug 16, 2007
@ Lordi & Banderas,

You guys are talking soccer like u started watchin the Premiership yesterday.
Go and see the final league table of the Premiership since 1992 and tell me a team that won the Premiership without drawing 2 matches . . . . . . . . . .
Arsenal's unbeaten run in 2003/04 had 26 WINS and a STAGGERING 12 DRAWS, I repeat 12 DRAWS.
If Arsenal had started that season with 2 draws, knuckleheads like y'all would have predicted DOOM but they WON without losing a game.
Mourinho's 1st season(The highest points any Prem team has ever clinched) had 29 WINS and 8 DRAWS . . . . .

Man United is in trouble? They might relegate . . . . .They are in a big mess . . . . .Whats the panic?
United can still win the league with the standings on the league table . . . .30 WINS is still achievable.
29 WINS, 5 LOSSES AND 4 DRAWS is still achievable and WILL win this league so whats the hassle about?
United has not lost any game. . . . .They have not drawn 10 games and people are going ballistic.
If any of youse think the title has slipped away from United's hands at this stage then the person needs to have his head re-examined.
2 DRAWS is not reason enough to write any team off at this early stage.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Jackal(m): 7:29am On Aug 16, 2007
@ Lordimpaq,

The season has just started.
United is still struggling to start his strongest XI to win matches.
Wazza went out on his 1st outing and Ronaldo will be out for 3 games in the 2nd match.
The gods must be against Man United but there's still quality in that team to mount serious challenges.
ANDERSON and TEVEZ can start as strikers against MAN CITY with NANI and GIGGS manning the wings.

TEVEZ, a player many condemned wont make an impact at MAN UTD was the best player on the pitch bar SCHOLES.
Good link play, nice interchange and his work-rate was exemplary.
Pompey is United bogey team only one WIN in the last 5 outings at Fratton Park so its not really a disappointing result.
UNITED will start at Man City to try and assert themselves into title challengers on the day Chelsea might draw/lose.
The table will take shape again if Chelsea loses and United wins on sunday.
The only team i worry about out of all the teams above MAN UTD is CHELSEA because they wont drop so many points like others.

2 draws in the first 2 matches?
It was the exact way United started the 98/99 season(THE TREBLE SEASON).
2-2 draw against Leicester and 0-0 draw against West ham before hitting the gear against Charlton.
No Ronaldo, No Rooney but we got TEVEZ, NANI and ANDERSON.
Maybe its time to prove to knuckleheads that United is not a one-man team like people used to say.
Write United off at ur own peril!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We are READY for the derby against CITY on Sunday.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (Old) by Jackal(m): 7:20am On Aug 16, 2007
How easy do u want it to be in the 1st place?
It was an away match . . . . . . .No away match is easy in the Champs league.
My man of the match had to be Clichy.
On a night when the strikers were not right on point . . . . . . .Clichy drove thru the Sparta defence taking like 4 players out with neat skills and dribbling before releasing Fabregas to do the simplest of tasks.
Alexander Hleb was anutha ace in the pack.
It was a good win for the gunners.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Jackal(m): 7:09am On Aug 16, 2007
The difference here is United didnt lose after 2 matches.
United is not playing badly like Arsenal did last season.
The snag is United cannot convert chances to earn 3 points so stop comparing United to Arsenal.
This time last season, Gunners had HENRY and everyone playing but couldnt win.
United has lost Wayne, and the new boys are just fitting into the frame.

2 draws is nothing to shout about, there are 36 odd games to go and a very long hard winter.
United don't play consistently till the winter so lets see what pans out.
If Chelsea loses or draws on Sunday and United wins then its a open race yet again.
Chelsea remains the only threat so its GAME ON.
I still think the race is between the Champions and Chelsea.
Others dont even come close.

@ KIT,

Look at the words coming outta the mouth of a football buff like u . . . . . .
Shame on ya and ur dirty clout.
Keep an eye on your lip, watch ur mouth.
Its only 2 games and our main rivals play Liverpool in the 1st head to head clash of the season.
Maybe Liverpool and Chelsea would bag 3 points each playing one anutha, Use ur head and think.
Its still earlyy days . . . . . , , . . . . . . .every team would still draw, win and still lose unless u think Arsenal would win 38 games in a trot.
Anyways, ur myopic views can lead u to believe such.

@ Jejelolatu,

God bless u for those remarks. . . . . .
I am kind of impressed that those statement came from the lips of a female.
Now i know better that some chics are more intelligent than some fellas.

Granted, its a poor start for Man United because this time last season we were 6 points clear and coasting.
As it is we have lost 4 points . . . . . .More than a defeat but its not catastrophic as it is still early days.
Its not exactly panic stations just yet.
All that said, Man United needs to start scoring ASAP and picking em points.
Ronaldo + Rooney are the most potent combo in the league and too bad they will both be missing for several games.
How would Ferguson cope . . . . . .Its a question i cannot even answer right now.

The only thing i know is just like Mourinho is a dangerous cat when cornered . . . .Ferguson is a Liger when caged.
Maybe Ferguson will throw in SAHA and SOLSKJAER early to close shop and start scoring for us.
TEVEZ + NANI had a wonderful game and i am impressed with em performance.
Its not totally bleak for United but time is ticking away.
Yes, the title cannot be won in August but it can be lost.
One thing though . . . . . . .Man Utd will finish above Arsenal come MAY 2008.
There's enough quality in the team to mount a serious challenge so all hope aint lost.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Jackal(m): 10:34pm On Aug 15, 2007
@ I-man,

Dont mind all these fuckeries.
Ronaldo off for 3 matches and Wazza off till late September.
I think Ferguson should wield his influence once more and land a centre-forward.
How do we replace Ronaldo and Rooney in these days of turmoil?

Tevez for Rooney. . . . . .
Nani for Ronaldo and then what?
Anderson? This is not looking good for Man Utd but its not a loss.
Its still early days.

Chelsea cannot win 38 games in the season, some matches have to be drawn.
Arsenal cant win 38 games all season, matches wld be lost and drawn.
Man Utd . . . . . . . .Show the grit and determination u are known for.
NANI, ANDERSON, GIGGS, SCHOLES AND TEVEZ against Man City?
Bloody Hell . . . . . . . .I see another draw beckoning.

@ Debosky,

You are just a silly pig trying to get noticed.
United played 1-1 draw and so fucking what?
Dude, stop this INSANEOPATH attitude of urs, u r starting to reek like a diseased pussy.

Cech made an outstanding save some moments ago.
What the hell. The Stats are against Chelsea.
8 shots on goal against Chelsea's 4.
Moaninho will come out and say the weather was unfair to them.

Man Utd kids have scored against Barcelona.
What a good night for Ferguson . . . . . . . . .

FamilyRe: Disciplining Children by Jackal(m): 3:23pm On Aug 15, 2007
Spanking and Caning is the best method.
Although there has to be a measured control to how u apply these methods but they are effective.
At the end of the day, it really does depend on the individual(the child).
There are some kids u spank and they stay disciplined but for some kids, caning toughens them and they go hay-wire.
When u dont spank some kids, they still go hay-wire cos they know there's nuthing u can do to em.

U need to see how spoilt n rotten kids in England are.
These kids are aware of the child rights and they take advantage to the maximum.
They have been schooled from a very young age that when their parents touch em they should call 999.
There is a general anarchy and the moral decadence is at its heights.
Parents cant do zilch again . . . . . .it's now common to see teenagers at 11pm loitering in the street corners drinking alcohol and having sex while the parents are in the pub socialising.
England has the highest rate of teenage pregnancy in the developed world and this is because the way the Government is trying to control the family.
I will spank and over-spank ma kids whether the method works or not . . . . . .Mathematically it has a 50% chance of working.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Jackal(m): 2:54pm On Aug 15, 2007
Heinze?
That deal has been done n dusted.
Heinze wont go to Liverpool. He will likely join LYON.
Ferguson is trying to do a swap deal.
Trust Fergie with his shrewd deals . . . . . .look at Rossi's buy-back clause and Ruud Van Nistelrooy's.
Do u know Man Utd picked £500k pounds after Ruud won the pichichi? It was in his clause that should he conquer La Liga, Man Utd will split £1 mil with the Ruud Bwoy. grin grin grin grin grin

Meanwhile, the match against Pompey will be feisty.
United has lost 3 times outta the last 4 outings at Fratton Park.
I expect Man Utd to win though but shit wont be easy.
Tevez should come good cos i heard he's been training extra-hard.
Apache has been bench-pressing 200 pounds in the last 4 weeks so fitness shldn't be a problem.
What might be a problem is the team chemistry.
How Scholes n Carrick will conjure defence-splitting passes to Carlitos to SCORE.
I hope they gel in time cos things must look kool b4 the showdown on Sunday with Eriksson's lads.
