Ofcourse we all face challenges in life, its ok. The bible predicts that believers would face even more struggles. The worst challenge you could ever have is the challenge of resisting God and leaving this world without accepting him.

But what keeps me hopeful is that amidst all the spiritual attacks i have had, even to a point of almost getting initiated in a demonic kingdom(long story), when christians prayed for me, i got delivered from them all.

How do you explain that? Would God have helped me if he has rejected me forever?

How can an atheist help you get back to God? For you to get come back to God you need to learn about him, know him and Love him.

How do you know and love GOD without his help? I started attending church, reading the bible and listening to preaching, but it seems my faith is dead. The word of GOD hasn't gotten to my spirit yet. It frustrating.

You claimed to have engaged with atheistic ideas here on nairaland, which led you to resist "God and his word". And then you went on to tell your mom that God doesn't exist.

So let me start from there.

a) You've failed to define atheism correctly right off the bat. Atheism lacks belief in a God. It doesn't assert that God, whatever it is, does not exist. That has never been the default view in atheism.

Saying you don't believe in something, and saying something doesn't exist are 2 different things.

If you're an athiest reading this, you might feel you are intelligent, rational and knowledgeable about the universe. You might honestly reject the ideas of God and spirituality as foolish and irrational, but it's just the devil covering your eyes (with your consent) until the D-day.

In 2014 my internet adventure and quest for knowledge exposed me to athiest ideas on nairaland. My consistency in digesting this ideas led me to resist God and his word.

Before then, i was born again and had experienced the spiritual, but some how, i started intepreting all of those as allucination and mental chemistry.

In my arogance, i took sides with man and the devil and rejected the giver of life. I can remember telling my Mum that God doesn't exist and she almost collapsed, that was how hard i fell.

Few years later, have had several spiritual attacks and demonic manifestation (that i would not discuss here) that has convinced me about the existence of the spiritual.

The point is that, i regret my actions and i wish to get back with God, but it seems difficult. My sin consciousness is death, the bible no longer makes sense, i have prayed and cried, but on the inside it feels dead and i know i have not been accepted.

I Know the Holy Spirit left me when i started resisting God. Is there hope?

The people who keep saying that porn is ok and normal are motivated by demons. There is no good in porn.

I went on for 6 years until i started getting desensitized to porn and to women in real life, i.e i couldn't get easily aroused again, i mean it came to a point where i don't feel a thing even if a woman is naked in my face, anxiety issues, low self esteem, behaving like a child etc. I had to quit some time ago.

it easier said than done. Last week I gave a good speech and a beautiful suggestion during staff meeting, and she dismissed me half way by telling me to sit down to my shame and the shock of my colleges. My colleges later asked me if we have issues.

I recently got employed in a company. A Married woman who should be about forty years manages this company owned by the husband.

The day I went for the interview, she (the manager) was very nice to me, kept complementing my dressing , smiled and peeped glances at me very often.

To my shock, I passed the interview even though I made a couple of blunders that should have disqualified me. After the interview, she spoke to me briefly asking about my ambition, my school and other general stuffs. I felt special.

I'm two months in the company, she isn't steady recently,but I see her often. I haven't had much of a conversation with her, only greetings.
She had come to my office to check on my work twice.

Here is the problem. She has been acting very cold recently, ignoring my greetings and contributions during staff meetings. She now finds faults in every little thing I do. I try to be diligent in all my assignments, but she is never satisfied.

Please how do I handle her? I want to keep my job and my mental health. She is becoming unbearable.

If the Holy spirit departs from you, which can happen as a result of your sin against the holy spirit..Who then will make you realise that you have sinned and therefore needs forgiveness?

It is that sin that you commit that result in the Holy Spirit departing from you, and hence you losing a consciousness of sin, that is the sin against the Holy Spirit.

You cannot be forgiven, because you will not be aware that you have and will therefore not ask for forgiveness.

You are 100% right. Unfortunately, this is the shoes i'm wearing right now. I wish i hadn't listened to the athiest in this forum. I desire forgiveness and restoration, but its difficult to find
