Messi is a great player and Argentina has always been a great team, but I don't think they would have won the world without some assistance from FIFA in the form of partial officiating and dubious penalties to give them a first scorer advantage, destabilizing the opponent.

Messi's hand ball in front of the referee was ignored and a funny penalty given to Di maria against France in the final, when he should have gotten a yellow card for diving.
This is just an example. I have rewatched all of Argentina's matches and if I want to fully analyse the instances where they had some unfair backing , this post would be too long.

I'm a Messi fan,but not as blind and emotional as most of his fan boys, so this is a non bias and personal analysis.

You see, Messi has successfully created a victim image by the unfortunate circumstances that riddled his international football career for the past years. Unfortinate incidence like losing the 2014 world cup finals 0-1 to Germany and Copa America finals 2007,2015,2016. Most of which brought tears to Messi and even led to his giving up and retiring.

With all his struggles, his fans in the place of football authority like FIFA are sympathetic to his plight and had to device means to ensure he wins.
FIFA preference of messi has manifested in diverse ways including from speeches by Sepp Blatter and football awards.

I'm not saying that Argentina did not work hard to advance like other teams. Of course they did. But just as class teachers like to pamper and push brilliant students who sometimes misperform, FIFA had to give messi a little push.

If my ascension is true, I expect this truth to be revealed as time goes.

This man talks too much and is too dramatic. This is why people don't take him seriously.
