I know that the Romance Section is the appropriate section for my post but I feel I will get mature pieces of advice here.

Here goes my gist;
I am a lady in my mid-twenties and in my final year at one of the Universities in Nigeria. It happens that I have never been in any relationship because I've been fleeing from premarital sex and chasing a path of sexual purity. My decision to flee has never been propelled or fueled by religion but morals, safety from STDs, and peace of mind.

I have met many guys who wanted to be in a relationship with me but I turned them down because I know none of them would want to be in a "sexless relationship".
However, I met one recently and he seems to be really interested in me, and vice versa. He wants a relationship with me, and I do too but I am not ready to engage in premarital sex.

Sex seems to be the bane of romantic relationships these days and I'm afraid no one wants to be in a " sexless" relationship.
Am I being too rigid or uptight concerning the issue of not having sex in a relationship? I feel tempted to lower my guard on this aspect.

I need mature advice, please

relationship is not all about sex if you know it will lead to marriage and not billing upon billing. Also ask the guy what he wants from you. the relationship should be defined. will it lead to marriage? if you know its not going to lead to marriage better you tell him instead of allowing him be in a sexless relationship with you and at the end marriage will not be involved. As for the STD aspect which you are afraid of, both of you sit down and discusss what your priorities are and how to settle them

my post is not evil and also its not intended to shame anyone. facts are different from opinions. everything stated are facts and not opinion. Talking about adoption, even the child you adopted a day will come when the truth will surface and the child will start looking for his or her true parents. This generation we are now, we need not to sugar coat anything. say it the way it is, you need to be strong to survive this era we are now. And talking about those going to get married just because they want to be called mrs, are they blind that the person they want to marry have some flaws they don't like? don't be blinded by love. Check yourself. those men you rejected, those guys you said no to, they were ready but you feel they don't match your expectations. You were very choosy. and now the time is against you and ticking seriously. Let me tell you one thing , even if you like get all the money in this world as a woman, get the best career and profession, investments, if you don't have a child or not looking to have one some day, your whole effort on earth is wasted. As you will not be remembered for anything once you are gone finally and there will be no one to take over your legacy. So you that is still in your 20s think well. I don't even want to talk about the biological side of it. You see that beauty that is catching you and shaking you like alcohol, it's going to fade away within a blink of an eye. Don't play you will learn the hard way

change your location sir. there is steady electricity where i am and its this same Nigeria. from Friday through Monday before i left home this morning there was light and as i am even typing this now, there is still light. and once I get home I will still meet the light and continue my work. reason for this is because there is prepaid meter in all there houses, estate, hardly will you see any house without prepaid meter. so what Nepa do is that they supply constant electricity so that loaded units will finish on time

Good day everyone. I never knew these guys existed until yesterday. I wanted to attend Koinonia(A fellowship meeting at Chida Event Centre, Jabi) since I came to Abuja for a visit.

I boarded a cab from Arab Junction in Kubwa at about 2:15 p.m. Inside the cab, I saw three guys and a lady. Two guys plus the lady were sitting at the back and one guy sat at the driver's side. I completed the seat. The fare was 600 to Berger Junction.

Immediately we got to Charly Boy junction, close to Gwarinpa, the lady in the cab came down. My head was full. I felt something telling me to come down, but I didn't have much on me and I had thought it would not be wise to stop here.

I continued. Immediately we got to Seraco junction. They winded up. The guy at the front pushed his chair backward. And they started harassing me. They collected my bag, phone and pointed a metal Gun at my waist.

They threw something upward like a powder and they looked at me. Maybe they were thinking I will fall asleep. I don't know. They told me to place my head down on the chair and close my eyes. Immediately we got to Nicon Junction.

I could hear how they carried another lady who wanted to stop at Area 1. As the lady entered the cab it was not up to like 3 minutes. They wind up and they started beating her. I was so surprised they didn't touch me. They asked us to call any of our family members for 5 million now or they will use our part for rituals.

I don't have anyone to call. I started crying. The other lady said she had an uncle. The only money I have both in cash and in the bank was 46 thousand. In my head I was like. I am a dead human. I couldn't tell what happened. They brought a POS machine and they withdrew the 43 thousand from my bank.

When they got to Berger junction, miraculously they told me to dropped that both spiritual and money wise I was not relevant to them.

That was how I was dropped and I stood there as they zoomed off with the other lady. I had a panic attack. I couldn't fathom what happened. Everything they took from me.

Please, Nairalanders be careful in Abuja. I have not yet recovered from the attack.

In d dream, we were at d site (plumbing and fully into borehole installation, maintenance and repairs). So we were about to pull out a pump from d well when one of my guy sighted a gold colour snake with faint black dots on it back and alerted us my guy tried to kill it with a long stick but he missed it and d snake dived out and rolled itself on my body.
