FxMasterz: Why are you changing my words? I repeat All doctors admit the supernatural when the unexplainable happens. And you quickly said the ones that admit the supernatural are Christians and it doesn't mean it's supernatural. You see yourself?
If a doctor pays before surgery, the surgery has a higher chance of success than the ones for which he didn't pray. A doctor who has learnt this by experience will continue praying. Those praying doctors are known to have higher success rates and low mortality rates in their hospitals. They often become popular because of the God factor. God works according to your belief. If you believe God for healing through a safe surgery, you'll get it. If you believe God for healing without surgery, you'll get it too. I have gotten it many times for myself and for those around me!
The most important thing you've said here now is that some Christian doctors admit the supernatural. But you who KNOW BETTER THAN THEM AND HAVE A BETTER UNDERSTAND OF THEIR OWN EXPERIENCE THAN THEY THEMSELVES now have the final say on their person professional experiences. You yourself wouldn't even know that you're under a very strong satanic manipulation, yet admitting that the same Satan who is manipulating you does not exist. What an irony? That'd the exact like of an atheist. It a spiritually foolish thing to be an atheist. I do not mean to insult you pls. Just trying to let you see the reality of things. The world is strongly spiritual and you're walking ignorantly thinking everything is physical while the spiritual continues to control your life.
Let me talk you something, anything you have no control over is controlled by someone else. Let that sink please. You have no control over your own line and the experience you have from day to day because someone else controls that aspect your life. Denying it is just too foolish. I just hope you could understand what I'm saying. I'm not insulting you.
See, I have walked thickly in the Reality of the spirit realm. I cannot be arguing with you. It's too condescending. Wait oh. You're saying that all doctors admit the supernatural? So what am I? Do I admit the supernatural? You well so? So what if I tell you many doctors that DONT PRAY have higher chances of successful surgeries? What do you say? I'm sure you'll ignore this question and run like you have been doing. Oga which doctors have lower surgical outcomes? Name the hospitals. At least I have my data. I don't pray and I have better outcomes in my procedures. So your god works with or without surgery. Now answer this question.... WHAT IF ONE DOESN'T BELIEVE OR PRAY,DOES HE GET WELL AFTER TREATMENT? Please don't dodge. Christian doctors pray out of habit. I have seen several Christian doctors pray and end up with mortalities. I have seen an obs and gyne pray during resuscitate of a woman with post partum hemorrhage and she didn't make it. I have seen the same obs and gyne try to resuscitate a woman that had pulmonary embolism after surgery and she still died. In all instances, he prayed and he's a Winner pastor. He is now in Bayelsa. He did his residency in UPTH. I have seen 2 doctors who are pediatricians pray and lose babies. What are you talking about? You're just an outsider that know nothing in medical practice. So spiritual controls physical? Eeeh. So which spiritual powers are controlling Nigeria? So you walk in the spiritual realm? Awesome. LordReed cuman see something oh We have spirit walker amongst us So tell me,Mr Spirit Walker, what did the spirits tell you today? Are you getting the spirit from a bottle? FxMasterz: Smiling. So, you now know who is following Christ and who's not? And where did I tell you that Ayefele is not a Christian because of his ailments? You're not spiritual and Christianity is a spiritual thing. Don't dabble into things you know nothing about. I don't know why you atheists are like this. Always wanting to form authority on subject matters you're completely ignorant of, Even quoting Bible upside down to prove a false point and telling someone who has been reading the Bible back to back for more than 40yrs that he doesn't know the Bible. This is wrong now.
Give me your telegram handle. Ok so why do you think he's not a christians? I'm waiting for your reply... When christians tell me Christianity is a spiritual thing, I laugh. That's the same thing a Baptist, Catholic, Pentecostal,Jehovah Witness,Methodist etc etc all say when they don't have nothing to say. Yall can't agree with yourselves about stuff in the bible and it's cos of this 'it's a spiritual thing' bullshyte. Reading the bible 100 years doesn't mean u r an authority. And that I'm not among your 1% is good news. Those 1% you have in your list who don't know Jesus and who have never seen Jesus miracles in their lives should remain with you. I don't belong to that 1%.
Hey, let's have some evidence of God manifesting love to the patients in your hospital. How do we reach them so that God can touch those who deserve His touch? He said he's a Christian, same way you profess to be a Christian. Abi Christian-o-meter dey? The definitive of a Christian is one who follows christ and that's what both of you say. So u saying Ayefele ain't a Christian cos he has an ailment shows how debased u r. I'm sure if I call out many Christians with different diseases, you'll find a way to say they ain't all Christian. FxMasterz: And that's all lies. All doctors admit the supernatural when the unexplainable happens. If that woman has heard a different explanation from the doctors involved, she wouldn't have come on Tik Tok to tell a different story about how prayer helped solve the nail ingestion problem of her baby.
The fact that many Christian doctors pray before treating patients is a sure indicator that they believe in miracles and indeed it does happen. Correction, not all doctors admit the supernatural. Even the ones that admit the supernatural are Christians and it doesn't mean it's supernatural. For example, when spontaneous cancer remission(which i used as an example before but u r too blinded to read) happens in a Christian. A Christian doctor would say it's god. But scientifically we know it isn't. It's due to multiple factors which include patient immunity. Also I agree we dont everything about cancer remission, however it's not enough to insert god into that knowledge gap. There was a time we attribute a lot of stuff to god like babies, floods, lightning. In the end science came through For you to say a scientific journal is lying about peristalsis and mass movement shows how religion has eroded your brain and made it poor. So if a doctor prays before surgery,it was his prayer that worked. So what or who do we blame if there is an anesthetic issue or hemorrhagic shock or a cardiac arrest leading to death? Do we blame the doc or your god for ignoring the doc? |

And, take note that I'm not buying the many lies in your response. So many Christian scientists believe in miracles. There are doctors who don't treat patients until they have prayed. I have shown you my evidence which is a scientific text. You have shown none. Keep arguing So if doctors pray before treating patients, does it mean it's the prayers that healed the patients? You see how confused you are Christian scientists won't tell you that a nail that turned in the gut was due to prayers. They won't. They would keep their Christianity one side and conduct research. That's what science is all about |

FxMasterz: I don't have time arguing with you folks anyway. The best scientist in the world are Christians, okay?
And as a scientist myself, I can teach you science. So, rest your boasting.
Peristalsis doesn't do rotation. There's no verified scientific source that says it does. Simple.
I've closed this discussion. I may not.longer respond. It is foolishness for a two legged man to be arguing with a one legged man that men have two legs. If the one legged man believes that men have one leg just because he has one leg, let him. What I can give you is evidence of God. Not argument. The best scientists may be Christians (even though there are more atheist scientists now) but none of them would attribute any phenomenon to supernatural actions. None! Did you even read any excerpts from Guyton and Hall that I posted? So you read a scientific article and you're still stuck in 'prayer turn nail' pigheadedness? You say you're a scientist and you agree that prayers turned a nail? Oh my fvcking days! This corntree is truly in trouble if truly you're one. No wonder we are backwards scientifically Science has been at loggerheads with religion Someone would say he prayed and something happens. Ask them to prove it and it's a problem. Patient would bring a convulsing child at 3am and be praying and disturbing me. I usually tell them to either take the child home and continue with their stvpid prayers or shut up and allow me to do my scientific work. They usually do the later. If truly your god works miracles through medical science,he won't make make medical science very costly that only the rich can afford it You have no evidence of your god. |
Christianity Etc › Re: You Don't Believe In Jesus? Tell Me, Which God Can Do Wonders Like This? by jaephoenix(m): 7:39am On Dec 03, 2025 |
FxMasterz: Prayers are not magic.
God answers prayers only when there's a problem that is beyond you. Not when there's a problem that you can solve yourself. So, you vacuum analogy does not cut it. You can only use that for a magician.
The issue is that only surgery could save the baby, and that's exactly what doctor's wanted to do. Nobody was expecting anything else. The mother prayed, and the nail turn upside down pass harmlessly through the body's intestine out of her body. It happened ONLY AFTER prayers not before. The mother came to testify online but you sit down here denying her testimony.
Tell me how you'll verify apart from the X-ray? You that even lied that peristalsis can move it when you know that peristalsis can't. You deliberately lied because you're bent on denying the miracle. I used the milieu of a vacuum cos it's an environment that is not affected by external factors like movement (which happens in the gut) and wind. So if we put the nail in that vacuum no other factors like the above listed can impinge then prayers are done. Unfortunately it's difficult discussing science with religious folks cos it seems strange to them just like this is to you. That's why you believe prayers can turn nails And what do you mean your god ain't a magician? A magician is one with supernatural powers. So if he 'supernaturally' turned a nail then he's a magician. End of I'm a doctor. And I have explained myself (along with another doctor on this forum) that yes the nail can turn due to gastric motility but we don't take chances cos of the chance of perforation. Our profession works on pragmatism. Somehow this explanations cannot penetrate your religious skull. I have even dropped scientific materials explaining how peristalsis, mass movement move intestinal contents. E no enter your head. You said nobody was expecting the nail to turn but we doctors know and we know other cases where nails turn but no one is taking chances. Now lemme assume(for the sake of this discussion) that it was her prayers. Was it prayers that turned the nails in other cases too? Those cases weren't even christians. So logically reasoning the claim that prayers turned this particular nail is dead on arrival since it has been proven nails can turn WITHOUT PRAYERS. The mother can claim anything, she is not a scientific person and doesn't understand human physiology. So all the time I wasted in posting a scientific article on peristalsis, mass movement etc was a waste of time? |

FxMasterz: Yes we can say the same for those healed of HIV. Some bring their medical reports to the altar. Even science was created by God.
God specializes in things science cannot do. Give me an example of a HIV patient healed? Those reports are not signed by any doctor that's the point. At least u r educated,if a document isnt signed by an authority, it would not be credible and not admitted in court. Anyone can forge any document. There are many stricken Christian celebrities eg Cobhams Asuquo,Yinka Ayefele etc. How come they ain't been healed despite copious healing news we get everyday? If they are healed, then that would be a good evidence for miracles cos their ailments have been well documented, one is blind and the other paraplegic |

You atheists live by denial. Simple.
When verified reports are presented for things pertaining to God, you deny it, but if presented by science, you'll quickly embrace it. I meant the claim that it moved AFTER PRAYERS was not verified. Also the fact this cannot be properly verified is due to the movement of the gut. A good way we verify is if we put the nail in a vacuum and you pray,if if it moves, then we can agree prayers work |

MarcinScholke: In Christianity, free will and human reason are considered essential parts of human dignity. Today, some people raise concerns about whether modern technologies—such as the concepts described in patent US4877027A—could theoretically influence or interfere with human autonomy. I’m curious from both a Christian and ethical perspective: How should we think about technology that claims to affect the mind or behavior? Do such ideas challenge the understanding of free will, or are they simply speculative concepts?
See MORE https://lov111vol.com/hearing-voices Yhwh does not condone freewill. It's a myth promoted by Christians when Yhwh clearly trample on freewill of several people in the bible like the Pharaoh, Job,Nehemiah etc. Freewill is an excuse Christians give to put their god out of scrutiny but they pray every day for their god to change the heart of their bosses, spouses, governors, presidents etc thereby disrupting the freewill of those folks listed. It's really funny 😁 Also how is there freewill if an all knowing god already knows what we're gonna do? Does it make sense And finally, let's just assume for the purpose of this discussion that yhwh allows freewill. Then why punish humans for exercising this freewill? It's just like a dad telling his toddler"u can eat ice cream or rice but if you eat rice, imma punish u" of course the child ice cream since rice carries a punished. |

Lawag3: You're asking questions I believe I have already answered.
How do I know my God is timeless? Well I'll say again he created time so that means he existed before time itself
On your third point and question God created time space and matter. this three have to come into existence at the same instance because non of them can exists independently of the other two. doesn't that tell you that for God to have created time he has to be outside time? if not God is just a matter that occupies space at a point in time. Let's take paintings the painter doesn't exist in his paintings and he existed before his paintings.
Doesn't the bolded explain I know God is timeless? If not explain.
The bible has textual variances and it also has perspective difference not one contradiction.
Yes, the vast majority of scientists believe the universe had a beginning, most commonly explained by the Big Bang theory. This theory states that the universe began approximately 13.8 billion years ago from an extremely hot and dense point that rapidly expanded. While this is the leading explanation supported by a wide range of evidence, alternative ideas continue to be explored by some researchers, though many of these are designed to work within or extend the Big Bang model.
The above was copied after a simple Google search.
So yes the world/ universe have a beginning according to science the big bang everything came into existence immediately after the big bang matter space time all the laws that governs the universe. Before that science doesn't know what was before the big bang.
So if matter space and time as we know it did not exist before the big bang then what did?
This you'd agree with me is a knowledge gap.
I tried to bridge this gap using God
I said this many Christians including myself believe that creation started from nothing or what appears to be nothing ( most of science agrees with that)because I believe that in the beginning the universe wasn't simply a void of absolute nothingness and I went on to add, even if it was, something changed that. the bible describes creation as God saying it and it just happened like God created the universe from his word. I don't know if the process of creation was a chemical one that span billions of years or if it was instantaneous.( this is me saying the big bang could have been a tool of creation) so I don't know why you assumed that I said God just said something and stuff started popping into existence Thanos-esque. Take for example Genesis 1:11 (KJV) And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. Notice how it did not say immediately it was so again take 1:20Genesis 1:20 (KJV) And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. According to the scientific consensus is that life likely began in the water. Evidence includes fossil records showing the earliest life was aquatic, we cannot say for sure that God's creation was instantaneous. It doesn't say so in the bible.
Stephen Hawking and Lawrence Krauss are two scientists who discussed how the universe could have started from "nothing". [/b]Their ideas, however, involve a scientific concept of "nothing"—such as empty space with quantum fluctuations—rather than a complete absence of anything.
I also copied the above from a simple Google search
Plus the bible never said the universe was a void Genesis 1:2 called the EARTH a void and formless not the universe.
I dont know where you got your coincidence story. I personally believe we dont know how we came about. The abounding theory is that we came from a unicellular organism and evolved. Thats all there's to it. Well if you don't believe that everything life as we know it was a coordinated process by someone intelligent and conscious then you do believe all as we know it is as a result of multiple coincidences.
When you say Jesus said epilepsy was demonic it means all epilepsy is as a result of demon which Jesus never said . The boy's case specifically was as a result of a demon. It's like saying oh this person sickness is as a result of smoking it doesn't mean all sickness is as a result of smoking.
On the dinosaurs they existed before man. That's all I know . Some one once told me that when God threw Satan to earth that caused an extinction event killing life rendering the earth without form and void. But that's what he said. I can't say what I don't know.
I said I don't believe in evolution? Is it because I did not add commas and punctuation marks?
Because this is what I said To you the idea of creation negates evolution to me it doesn't I believe God gave his living creatures the ability to adapt to certain conditions which could lead to evolution. and I said I did not believe in the evolution of Man specifically. the bible shows man as an abiogenetical creation of God. It said man was formed from Genesis 2:7 (KJV) And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Man was created differently from other animals.
I don't know. But then I have studied My God his works his word. I have studied other religions and compare them. The evidence points to me that the God of the bible is the only genuine God. Relationship with My God is personal so yes you can experience My God.
But then you'd be a complete idiot to take my word for it that's why I urged you to study find evidences study the gospel study God in the old and New testament study the gods of other religions and compare them then come to your conclusion.
Cc LordReed So what is your evidence that Yhwh created time and space? I'm not doubting but how do you know the time and space isn't eternal since you believe Yhwh is eternal. OMFG! You actually believe the bible doesn't have contradictions? I made a whole ass topic on it and there has been several books written on the contradictions, lies and miseducation in the bible. https://www.nairaland.com/7659505/book-bible-gaffesBefore big bang, science doesn't know the events leading up to it. So that means it doesn't know if the world has a beginning since big bang technically isnt the beginning of the universe. So science doesn't know the actual beginning. Bridging a knowledge gap with god is where the problem lies. I gave you examples where humans thought god was responsible for flood etc. It's lazy thinking to bridge any knowledge gap with a god. It's fallacious and wrong. So you're saying there was a time lag from when god said something before it materializes? So it wasn't immediate? Really? Do you think your fellow Christians believe the same? The bible clearly said it was instantaneous. Stop twisting your bible Your bible didn't even talk about other planets creation,it devoted its creation stories to earth alone. So assume that universe to be strictly earth. About Jesus and the demon possessed boy, your Jesus said his epilepsy is due to demon possession. And I'm telling you as a physician that NO epilepsy is due to demon possession. None. Not even one. Let that sink in Bro,evolution of man is a proven scientific fact. We have evolved from a raw meat eating man to cooked meat. Thats why we have an incisor and an appendix. Now these organs are lying dormant in our body. We also had tails as fetuses growing in the womb. I can tell several instances but you can read up yourself Same way a muslim would say Allah is his favorite sky daddy and he has a personal relationship. Same way a Hindu would say Brahma is the main dude and he has a relationship. None of yall presenting a single shred of evidence proving your gods exist.
