Your analogy is inaccurate but I'll play along the best way I can.

The so called veteran has a big problem: poor performance.

He has held a management position in the club for the past 8 years. Not as coach/manager, but as high ranking technical staff. Unfortunately for him, the team has done very poorly.

The veteran wants us all to forget his role in team selection, tactics, strategy, scouting, transfers, etc. over the past 8 years. Instead, we are being reminded of his performance as coach with a much smaller club several years ago - a performance that is open to debate.

Bola Tinubu is the APC national leader. He should be judged on APC's performance over the past 8 years. Nigerians are not interested in tall tales about his role as Lagos governor - a journey he began nearly a quarter of a century ago. Some people who are going to vote in this election had not even been born then!

Failure should not be rewarded. The APC does not deserve to remain in power. Whether Nigerians understand this simple truth will be made clear in less than 10 days.

What happen in the APC primary election is repeating itself when the APC chairman meets with APC governors to diclare Ahmed lawan as the consesus candidate but APC governors reject the idea and insisted on primary election, meanwhile those that thought APC governors will loose this fight are just dreaming Buhari will never want to loose the support of the mighty APC governors after his tenure as president, Buhari may not send the suffering Nigerians with his front and back stumbling policy but he fears loosing the good eye of the APC governors who are the majority.

Logically if you look into the leadership in Nigeria since independence na Hausa fulani ruling Nigeria uptil today sometimes they allow other tribe to be there as figure head but will be sabotaging the president underground just like what Atiku did to Obasanjo during his tenure and what they did to Jonathan during his tenure.
Atiku is the worst presidential candidate but obi is even more better than Atiku even though he "obi" said they have the same ideoloy but Tinubu is the best choice for Nigeria right now even though he's not physically healthy but what we need in Nigeria at this point is not necessarily healthy president but someone that will make life easier for Nigerians without been tribalistic, religious and weak, when you go to Lagos you see plain example of governance for people where everyone's free to live.
