Religion / Re: Investing In The Future by jagunlabi(m): 4:46pm On Apr 09, 2010 |
Sorry, evangelist, but i am not interested in the future, but only interested in the NOW, because the future does not exist except as thoughts in our heads, and when that socalled future finally does come, it will still be in the NOW. What man does NOW will take care of his future, because the NOW is the only thing real that we have to interract with and experience. In the NOW, in this very moment we find ourselves, lies the only thing of importance that we will ever have, LIFE, thus GOD.Thinking about the future only takes us away from the now and thus from life, and thus from GOD. This is perhaps the greatest fallacy of the christian doctrine, constantly focusing people's mind on the past and in the future that are neither real nor do matter, while making sure that people do not focus on the NOW, on the present moment where everything is happening and where it really count. |

What is most important to you, lady? You are old enough to be able to answer the question and what action you should take.If you are going to be "defiled" by a man who is going to marry you, then let thou be merrily defiled till day break.Wetin dey am?Stop making a mountain out of a molehill, woman. |
Religion / Re: A LIFE WITHOUT CHRIST by jagunlabi(m): 11:27am On Apr 08, 2010 |
toba:Don't over-deceive yourself on that word, bro.The word "CHRISTOS" is from ancient greek and has been around loooong before christianity was ever formed.Christianity merely adopted it.Besides, it is a dime a dozen term in those days when every person and their goats were messiahs in that part of the world. |

benodic:Keep preaching it, bro.Perhaps some day, they will finally wake up from their doctrine induced state of hypnosis and finally leave their tiny bible boxes to experience the full glory of the supreme creator's vastness.Their minds' scope of perception and understanding has been reduced to such an extent that one can only show great pity for them.I hope they finally find a way out of their tiny mind prisons. It will be an absolute tragedy if they remain in them mind prisons from their cradle to their grave. |

Chrisbenogor:Religions in themselves and the discussions surruonding them have always been boring and will always be boring. What can one expect from static, non-progressive and dead concepts? Thanks to non-believers who generate a bit of interest into an otherwise dour area of discussion through their nonbeliefs and nonconformity to the norms of these boring religions, religious debates can enjoy some little signs of life.I bet their heavens are going to be even more boring since no nonconformists are going to be around to liven things up(so they think).Their heaven will be an eternity of mind and soul numbing boredom.Yikes!! Even their god will die of boredom. |

And the two masonic pillars with an arc above. . . familiar sight, is it not?Entrances to church cathedrals worldwide? There are more masonic occultic symbols in a cathedral church than in all the pop and rap songs ever produced put together.Should religious people stop going to church to avoid passing between them pillars and the arc above?Hmmm! This sheit with occultic symbolism has been going on for far longer than we can ever imagine."Hiding in plain sight" is what this symbolism game is called. Keep up the good work, though, babearly. |

Religion / Re: A LIFE WITHOUT CHRIST by jagunlabi(m): 12:27am On Apr 07, 2010 |
toba:That claim is based on what? You don't even know me.My life is definitely not in crises, but in peace that passes all understanding, and the best way to achieve that peace is to leave a religion that is in crises, in tatters and without the christ. |

Religion / Re: Is God's Wrath Manifested By Eternal Fire At Variance With God's Love? by jagunlabi(m): 11:17pm On Apr 06, 2010 |
benodic:Well put, benodic.Religious folks who need a wrathful God are only exposing their dark sides that are full of wrath generated from their deepseated insecurities about what they believe in.They only want revenge on people who reject them through the rejection of what they believe in, because they have come to accept their deeply held beliefs as their identities and they feel highly insecure and threatened whenever those identities are rejected by others. How one projects God reveals who and what one is deep down. |
Religion / Re: Is Getting A Tattoo A Sin by jagunlabi(m): 1:28pm On Apr 06, 2010 |
Tattoo the image of JC on your butt so that it covers both globes, make sure you are wearing a see through robe to see the tattoo, and the angels in heaven will hail you through the pearly gate with beautiful rap songs.Just make sure that you do not tattoo the image of a black Jesus on your derriere, because that would be a blasphemy that will slam the pearly gate shut in your face. The JC tattoo to get you into heaven must have a full beard, long hair, white skin, caucasian facial features, and slim in stature. In order words, he must look like a hippie. Any deviation from these recommended features will send you straight to the hell republic, in jesus |
Religion / Re: Why Is Man Wicked And Evil? by jagunlabi(m): 11:23am On Apr 06, 2010 |
babaearly:Why is man so wicked and evil?Because the biblical god is wicked, evil and vile?Could that be the answer?Afterall, it is him that we humans are trying to emulate. If wicked acts are good enough for jehovah up there, then they have to be good enough for us human beings down here.He is our role model, isn't he?As above, so below. . . |
Religion / Re: What Are The Different Names Of God And What Do They Mean? by jagunlabi(m): 6:50am On Apr 06, 2010 |
InesQor:That is your own interpretation, inesqor. It does not make your own reasoning any more valid. It just sounds fancy and that is all.It is quite clear in the bible that the jewish deity never ever revealed who he was even when he was asked pointedly, and there was no place in the bible where he did reveal his name.If you say there is a place, then show it to me.Either that or you are just engaged in nothing but fancy interpretations. If someone ask you who you are and you reply with, "I am who i am", how do you think that someone would interprete your response? You guessed it, reluctance to revealing your identity. And that's it. |
Religion / Re: ~logic~ Discovery Or Invention? by jagunlabi(m): 10:27pm On Apr 05, 2010 |
Logic is not an invention but a discovery. As we uncover better understanding of the world we live in, we also discover new and better informed logic. Example, back in the days when the whole thought the planet earth to be flat, it was against logical reasoning to say that it was spherical because of the seemingly obvious fact that anyone living at the down end of the ball would surely fall off.But as the law of gravity was discovered and applied, so did a new and better informed logic surfaced as well to successfully argue that people can't fall off even if they live down under. Parameters upon which logical reasoning is based is continually changing as we know more about our universe and how it works. As we discover new informations, we also discover new logic to go with them.IMHO. |
Religion / Re: What Are The Different Names Of God And What Do They Mean? by jagunlabi(m): 10:01pm On Apr 05, 2010 |
One very popular name amongst christians is "I Am That I Am", that is if you can call that a name. The meaning of that "name" is, " Shut the Furck up, Moses, and stop asking me silly questions!I ain't telling you my real name!" That meaning came from a response from the character behind this jewish deity running rampant on the middle eastern desert, supposedly, who just did not want to reveal his true identity to his chosen prophet, to Moses' request for his name or identity.Due to whatever reason best known to this character, this deity flatly refused to reveal his real name to his chosen people, thereby forcing them to give him all kinds of weird names on their own volition. But modern christians(most especially nigerian christians) had to latch on to this particular phrase and pass it off as a name of a god.Absolutely hilarious! I don try well well.NEXT PERSON!! |

^^What is wrong with the advice? Two incompatible people to stay together for the rest of their lives and be condemned to unhappy life for what reason exactly? |
Religion / Re: What's Your Take On Divorce? by jagunlabi(m): 2:19pm On Apr 05, 2010 |
Utter nonsense!Sorry if i sound insultive, but where do you guys get all these weird ideas from? When two people make a mistake of thinking themsleves compatible and then getting married, only to discover that they are not, they should then stay together by force because of what exactly? Why suffer yourselves by staying in a relationship(married or not) that does not exist just because you said "i do" in front of some priest?I just can't figure out some people's thinking. Till divorce do us part.If the marriage does not work, then dissolve it and go your separate ways.Na by force to stay together? And this utterly insane concept of staying divorced once going through a divorce process. . . where do you guys get all these crazy ideas from, anyway? |

Don't throw your anger my way, toba, but direct it at those who have been decieving you for so long, and at yourself for swallowing all the deceptions hook line and sinker. |
