Diz is bcoz afta d P-UTME d aggregate will be calculated, it is d aggregate that will be used in d admission proccess. The aggregate is calculated lyk diz, ur PUTME score multiply by 4, plus ur Jamb score n divided by 2. E.g say sum1 scored 266 in JAMB n 60 in PUTME. D aggregate wil be: 60 multiply by 4=240 + 266=506/2 =253. It's this 253 dat will be used 2 process d admission. NW SUM FACULTIES HAVE THEIR CUT OFF POINT 4 SCREENING OFF NON-CATCHMENT AREA STUDENTS. This is nt normally made public, bt it's a fact. The institution will call evry1 of scored 180 n above n choosed ABU as 1st choice 4 d PUTME. Bt datz jst a way of gettin more candidate 2 come 4 d PUTME n mkin money frm prospect students . The fact is there are sum Jamb scores dat u cn't use 2 get admission in ABU if u're nt frm catchment area. Imagine sum1 who is frm Oyo State, who scored 195 in Jamb n ve an aggregate of 210 afta d PUTME n applied 4 MBBS! Hw on earth will he be admitted?
