Kessyy2k4: cant paid even a kobo to access ur so call interview coaching. if u cant give us an article on that free, mayb u can keep it to urself! Goggle is available, with endless article on interview preparation! NO OFFENCE bro! jst wanna voice out my mind! thanks!!!! First, no one is begging you to patronize us. And even more ignorantly of you, you thought it was an article we are selling. We don't sell interview articles. We have more than 50 free articles on interviews on our website. And if you consult your "goggle", our interview articles are part of what of what you will see on first page, directed to you by Google. You're obviously ignorant of what interview coaching entails. You think it's an article. Again, no one is begging you. And no one I saying you can't pass interviews without consulting JarusHub. But over 200 people that we coached last year, including from India and Germany, for companies like NLNG, NNPC, Shell Germany, PwC, KPMG etc cannot be wrong. And for your information, interview coaching is big industry in advanced countries like UK and US. Even graduates of top schools like Stanford, Oxford, MIT pay for interview coaching. People charge as much as $300 (N75k) for interview coaching and patronizsed by grads of even top schools like Harvard. See example here: http://300financegurus.com/coaching-page/And by the way, we charge foreign clients (from Germany, India) $200 (N40k) for 2 hours Skype Interview coaching and they are happy to use us, as we have coached a candidate preparing for Shell Germany Interview (SRD). How much more UBA! So don't think the 5k from you is what is going to make us. |

My personal phone is a BB Curve bought at 18k.
The phone I use more is the one my employers got for me, also a BB (don't know the brand). Don't know the price but should be between 30k-40k.
Both are low-end I guess.
In the early years of my career, used to buy phones of 100k. I stopped being a phone freak like 6 years ago. I have more important things to spend money on now than phone. |

It's serious. Even those of us that are not Soldier's children and don't live in barrack are beginning to feel the hit.
In all modesty, there is hardly any (reasonable) help I need from top places that I'm not able to get due to my decent network. I have contributed to getting many people's solved through use of my modest contacts.
One of the days this failed me was when a former school mate that knew and trusted my network put a distress call to me to help save her young soldier husband that is set to be court-martialed.
She was sobbing over the phone, "Jarus, pls. Help contact your people. Anybody. I know you know X, Y and Z. My husband has been in prison for 6 months for running away from Boko Haram. Some of them were released. I don't know what they did differently. Pls Jarus. "
I know a retired General. I know an influential Emir. I have indirect access to an influential governor. I know a couple of presidential aides. But this is antional security issue. It's not a small police case or brush with soldier that a phone call will resolve.
I consoled her and told her it's a tough one, but will try. I can't even face anyone and say "pls can you kindly facilitate the release of so so so person unjustly imprisoned. It's a national security issue. I can't look at the face of anyone and say that.
The heat is everywhere. May God protect these soldiers and their families. |

Ali was a very junior officer in the 80s. |

NUC that officially has info and monitors all universities in Nigeria, did a ranking and people here that porobably don't know more than their school are disputing their ranking.
As someone associated to Ife, I want OAU to be number but I accept this ranking because the ranking authority know more than I do.
Meanwhile, I have not seen the full ranking, but I know OAU will be among Top 3, or at worst Top 5 in overall ranking.
I also agree Unilorin is the King of Second Generation Universities. |

Webmasters › Re: Why You Are Not Making A Kobo From Your Blog by Jarus(m): 11:50am On Jan 14, 2016 |
Starttell: First of all, I’ll like to point out that the reason why bloggers don’t make money from their blog, is not because they don’t want to, but because they don’t know how to turn ideas into profits. The ability of turning ideas into profits, is the key to true fulfillment. According to Wikipedia, A blog is a discussion or an informational site published on the world-wide web and consisting of discrete entries (“posts”) typically displaced in reverse chronological order. We have some blog hosting platforms, they include Blogger, TypePad, WordPress e.t.c. There are so many blogs managed by individuals, hosted on these blogging platforms.
Some of the blogs attracts thousands of views daily. but sadly, most of these bloggers have not spared time to think deep and see the big picture of how their blogs can be a good source of income. Permit me to term the bloggers that doesn’t see beyond burning feeds into his/her blog from other websites a lazy blogger. For your blog to standout and be a site that attracts huge traffic daily, it has to be unique in some ramifications. This is why i quite appreciate Starttells, most of the articles they post, I’ve not been able to see it on some other websites. Now it takes a unique blog to attract a decent traffic. You are yet to earn a kobo from selling Ads Space, cox your blog is yet to attract that traffic that makes an advert on your site appreciated. It’s also recommended, for a blogger to find some advertising platforms, like the Google Adsense, Yahoo! Publisher Network, Clicksor e.t.c. Most bloggers don’t earn a kobo from their blogs as a result of the kind of Web template they had, programmed in their blogs. You will agree with me that nobody will like to spend time viewing a dull website, or a website with too much animations. Your blog template, has to be appealing and attractive to the general public, before a reasonable profit can come out of it. You have to find an experienced website designer, to construct a nice template. We bloggers don’t make money from our blogs, because we have not discovered the need of affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing is a very popular practice on the internet. It involves selling over people’s products for them and earning a commission on each sale. In order to find suitable affiliate programs, you can turn to individual companies and publishers like Dreamhost and SEOBook or affiliate market places and networks. popular affiliate market places includes: Amazon Affiliates, Commission Junction, ClickBank, Azoogle Ads, LinkShare and many more. Most bloggers also have poor knowledge of SEO. Search Engine Optimization(SEO) is the process of affecting the visibility of a website or webpage in a search engine result. Hire a Good SEO Specialist, who is a content and keyword strategist and also have a good knowledge of Google Panda and penguin. Bloggers fail to upload something original. This is one of the problems we are facing in the blogosphere. Don’t just make Ctrl-c and Ctrl-v your best friend, post something unique. When using a Blog service that offer free hosting such as Blogger, should not be your middle name. Inasmuch as they offer a decent platform and an excellent value, they are not flexible enough to install the plugins, themes, and other extensions you truly desire. With just $15, you can buy a domain name and credibility. Some blogger didn’t set out a goal for their blog. I wonder what will be their driving force. The blogger that fails to plan, plans to fail. Blogger should also have a social presence, like running a Facebook and Twitter Page. They should not put too much time on Social mediums otherwise, their blogs will be at stake. Bloggers that twists the truth to uphold their selfish beliefs and those that neglects the readers opinion, won’t last. When your blog loads too slow, keeps buffering, a visitor after 15 secs countdown will be like “am outta here!”. There is need for you to optimize. Bloggers should avoid errors, verify your posts before uploading, make sure your articles are not flawed, boring and sucks at making sense. I don’t need to ring it to your ears, that when you stop blogging for a period of time or even daily, your blog is approaching its near end. Not interacting with fellow bloggers or not having a blogging mentor, won’t earn you much. Money works with partnership and connections. Selling Ebooks also pays. If i am to continue on this topic, my article will be too long that one might easily forget some things i pointed out at the beginning of my post. There are many ways by which a blogger, can earn cool money online with his/her blog. Sadly, most bloggers, readers including me have not realized that. It was after my research that i just found out the huge opportunities, that abounds in blogging. I hope my post will go a long way to create an awareness to the general public and possibly be useful in fighting some problems Nigeria has today. Oh! I can’t wait to start blogging.
http://starttells.com/2015/09/14/why-you-are-not-making-a-kobo-from-your-blog/ Bad English is another reason. Check all successful bloggers in Nigeria, they write good English. |
