AllNaijaBlogger:Ok. I concede "flaunt" I not the right word word I should have used. Maybe "declare openly" would have served my point better. So I say: If you cannot openly declare your belief, that belief is not strong enough |
Don't subscribe to a belief you cannot flaunt anywhere. It means you're not convinced enough |
But Adebayor is tall Sha. See his legs |
Looks too old for secondary school graduation. Looks like someone convocating after varsity education. |
Jlow2:No doubt the the story will be largely true, but it presents Tinubu as too clean and anti-corruption that one begins to wonder whether the story was not written by Tinubu himself. The Nation can do better. The most glaring inaccuracy in the report was that Tinubu dropping Akume for Lawan because of "respect for Buhari". Anyone with the slightest knowledge of Nigerian politics knows the real reason Tinubu dropped Akume for Lawan, was to pave way for Gbajamiala push as speaker, as SP Akume coming from NC and Speaker Gbaja from SW will mean NE will not gain anything, which will be a difficult push as Dogara from NE would beat Gbaja if Akume of NC (and not Lawan of NE) emerged. |

Is this the same Daniel Onjeh, NANS president like 12 years ago? |
chayomastic:They published adverts in newspapers. Shell and other top oil companies publish their graduate trainee programmes. Their recruitments are well publicised. |
Your partner is not the only one that can have access to your phone. Password is not necessarily because of the closest person to you. I password my phone but she knows the password, she can access it anytime. |

Adverts |
I think authority blogging is the surest way to making money blogging. Authority or expert blogging is one in which the blogger earns the respect and trust of readers over time and solves people's problems by offering premium services/products. This is different from traffic-based blogging, which relies on advert. Linda Ikeji, etc are traffic-based blogs and they earn money from advert revenue. The downside of authority blogging is, it is not for everyone. In fact, only very few people can do it. Traffic-based blogging is easier, just get traffic to your blog and you make money from adsense etc. I run a blog that is an authority in career matters. How did it start? I started by innocently giving free career tips on Nairaland here some 7 or 8 years ago, and I realized my opinions sat well with many readers, although I never knew it would one day become I can do independently. I realized this is a skill I can convert into a venture. In 2013, I decided to open my own independent platform, to be solely based on careers. That was what led to the birth of my own platform. I opened JarusHub in March 2013, and it hit the ground running because of the reputation (authority) I had been able to build on NL careers section over time. We don't get much traffic (just about 1000 pageviews per day) and we rank very low on Alexa, but because of the value of our content, readers come back everyday and we are able to have loyal following, in addition to people that find us while searching Google for answers to career issues. Today, 2 years after, what started as a blog is now a full scale career consulting startup with staff and office, while I still maintain my day job. While all the money we have made from the blog since inception is less than my one month salary in my regular day job, I'm happy that it has established itself as a go-to site for career stuff in Nigeria and we hope to do better. Like I said earlier, authority blogging involves establishing yourself as an expert in a field and then going ahead to offer premium services/products relating to that field. Today, the blog has earned us authority on interview matters in Nigeria and we have traveled to other parts of Nigeria (Abuja, PH) just to coach people on interviews. This last weekend, we made almost 200k in 2 days. What started as a blog is now a full scale startup with office and employee. That is what authority blogging can do. |
Switlife:So why did you attend the Abuja mock? |
okoomoge2:I think Tbaba is in better position to hAndle this |
etoile1906:Not exactly. Everyone in this stage is "best" in SHL and WAEC. But you can be best in SHL/WAEC and not in interviews, team work and other components of AC. Scaling assessment center is hardly by luck. All the friends I have seen scale through assessment centers, especially Shell Recruitment Day, were extremely good! |
cmax16:Most likely information gap. Is he just sitting down in Benin? What has he been doing? Where has he applied to? Has he been invited for test somewhere before? Did he pass? |
Badema:Hi Badema, with what I saw of you at the JarusHub Mock Assessment in Abuja, I have strong feelings you will scale it. |
poiu22:Musiwa, is that you? |
lumzybo:Yes, the way they prevented it from happening to them in similar situation in 2011. |
