SportsRe: Lionel Messi Named World Player Of The Year Yet Again by jascon1(m): 1:49pm On Jan 10, 2012
in a chapter of Messi, speak no more C. Ronaldo, Messi has broken and equalled records of all time greats even at 24, he no longer belongs to the class to be measured or compared to stars of C. Ronaldo's status, he is presently an icon that C. Ronaldo idolizes, therefore, when we analyze Messi's achievements names like C. Ronaldo must always appear in the footnote if ever it must come in the statement,
PoliticsRe: So Is The Protest A Success Or A Failure? by jascon1(m): 9:49pm On Jan 09, 2012
@ Lasinoh, u must be very stupeed for making sucha nasteey comment about ppl seeking a better life for emselves. this is nairaland and if u mean u love america that much then stick to american forums than exposing how jobless u are prying into naira matters, we r nigerians n proud to be,
i am fully behind the issue of subsidy removal, but the timing is wrong, GEJ should reverts it till later in the year, there are much more pressing issues than suvsidy removal, i feel today was a gain, if GEJ has the interest of 9ja at heart then he better listened to the voice of the crying/dying masses, at least later in june we can talk this again, since all flights are grounded as well, foreigners will send the message to cnn for us, we are fighting for ourselves and not for CNN or BBC. lets come out en masse and fortify our voice as one in this fight for our future,
SportsRe: Lionel Messi Named World Player Of The Year Yet Again by jascon1(m): 9:36pm On Jan 09, 2012
messi deserves this!!! he's just too good, Ronaldo is good, but not a match for Messi, messi is 49% ahead, at just 24 he's ranked among god-like legends like Pele, Maradona etc, wish him well and yet another fifa world player of the year again,
Christianity EtcRe: Why Are Our Christian Leaders Quiet On This Fuel Subsidy Issue? by jascon1(m): 8:51pm On Jan 09, 2012
i share same thot with u, mr poster, its so obvious they are political boys cheering the presidential seat, they praise men in power and decline to face them with the truth about actualities of life and salvation. God and Caesar stand parallel and those "leaders" idolize and respect power and control rather than spiritual leadership. they ask us to fast and pray, but how come the average member go thin during fasting and they grow fattened and robust? lol, only fools can be fooled, am not ignorant and hypnotized, they are politicians wearing pure garments, christ, paul, true christians et al faced arrest and torture for their faith, how many so called "men of god" have been arrested for standing up for the truthhuh these "leaders" pally with top governmental bodies and take side with them, and deceive the common masses
PoliticsRe: I’m Slow To Avoid Mistakes - Gej by jascon1(m): 8:36am On Jan 03, 2012
in our present world time is an essential factor, every establishment knows is a gift to have maximum output within the shortest period of time. fart dumbs and cowards seek not to take the risk cos they have no minds of their own. they r zombies driven by many minds behind the scene. no brave man will dread stepping on toes, but every real man knows that it comes and goes. someone who claims to have walked to school bare-footed and has faced the harshness of 9ja govt. and suddenly finds himself on the zenith of positions wont make such dumb sentence. the same situation that promted ur walking to school barefooted is same situation still present. how can your slothiness be a virtue in a paramedic situationhuh 9ja call is beyond 911, drastic swiftness towards a positive goal is a brave step and not the mistakes that counts,
PoliticsRe: Crowd Forming At Eagle Square Over Fuel Subsidy Removal? by jascon1(m): 7:36am On Jan 03, 2012
9ja we have a long way to go, how can we stand and stare at a few ppl fighting for the interest of allhuh solidarity is the key, lets come as one and save 9ja for posterity, same ppl who oppressed our grannies will oppress our lineage for generations if we dont unite as one to purge them out of power. our govt. has failed and we cant sit and watch in discomfort, give a voice, a hand, money, aid whatever to those in the forefront, for in no time we will be the next.
PoliticsRe: Stop Moaning... Petrol Is 326.21 Naira a litre in the UK! by jascon1(m): 7:24am On Jan 03, 2012
this poster must be insanne, how do u even have the urge to write this curse against ur own self? do u know our ranking in world oil rich countries? yet, do u know a nation with such wealth cant give account of it? approximately half of the population is unemployed/underemployed, do u generate ur own power in the uk? do u know how much an average nigerian earns? divide that per day by 800 naira fuel just to sleep at night and tell me how much is left for even non-vehicle owners,
i see u are delusional and u have tumour in your cerebrum, this is a sensitive issue beyond your scope and i suggest u withdraw this post from public forum and have a detailed study concerning 9ja and her economy
RomanceRe: Do Women Really Love Tall Guys? by jascon1(m): 8:09am On Dec 25, 2011
women love money n tat sums it up. place a short man on top his wallet and he is mr. perfect.
generally, an average guy of 6f and nice curve is a desire to most women. though, height aint the only reason why women fall in love.

EducationRe: 44 Million Nigerians Can't Read ? by jascon1(m): 4:45pm On Dec 23, 2011
the stat. may have been approximated, to me is even more. judging from people i meet everyday it is a fact that more than 44million cant read or write. in our traditional system, pen and paper arent important, and this states the facts that in as much as most of us speak our local dialects we cant read or write in it.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Why Is Messi Better Than Ronaldo? by jascon1(op):
in portugal, Ronaldo hasn't led his team to any glory yet. in this regard, he is on par with Messi. though, in the junior level messi outclassed him. both have faced serious criticism from their countrysides. weeks ago, the portuguese audience frustrated Ronaldo to the point that he fought back with words, while Messi who faces same criticism from his homeland smiles at every critics and maintains a gallant composure. Ronaldo plays under the best technical coach in the world at present. Madrid is a beautiful club adorned with great and talented players. what more is required to bring out the best in Ronaldo?
RomanceRe: What Are The Most Important Reasons For You To Get Married? by jascon1(m): 7:55am On Dec 12, 2011
@ ORINKINLA, you are obsessed with your own sillyness and puffyness. all you have mentioned, marriage has nothing to do with. if u spent (just) 1million(NAIRA??) helping, then is not enough to brag over it. you stand in no position to criticize ppl who cannot afford to pay exam fees 4 their kids. blame ur economy and not marriage. you work with UNICEF? if not 4 these ppl you wud av been a jobless pig counted like t ones you are counting. i advise you to get married and let time tell how better u can parent your own kids. marriage is an essential institution.no matter how u blab, the fact stays fresh. we are all made for someone. u cant question God who initiated it. take a close study how our body is made, and how we feel. you will see a million reasons why marriage is important.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Why Is Messi Better Than Ronaldo? by jascon1(op): 6:16pm On Dec 11, 2011
i have read many comparisons about the duo. some reserve their comments when the 2 names are involved. Ronaldo as popular as he is, takes more blame than Messi? does Messi give too much that nothing more is expected of him? why is he always one step (or more) ahead??
CultureRe: How Naija/americans Are Viewed Amongst Nigerians! by jascon1(m): 11:17pm On Dec 07, 2011
honestly, from your English construction you seem to be a born n raised nigerian. in the US there are many yoruba ppl. they shoulda told u more about here. even oyibo man go tell u more about 9ja. and i'd prefer u tell us the way you were viewed "when u visited". you have been here, as u said.
for the sake of the topic, i will comment. maybe, my comment is useful to others as well.
we are all humans and we act differently. nigerians are social and hospitable even to strangers. and we live a communual lifestyle. is easy to blend and find your way around. you got nothing to worry as your skin aint any different. if u were white or mixed-race, then u will surely get attention from the average man. the only difference in u is your accent. need not worry, cos a lot of nigerians fake it. we no no/care who trully be jandon again. in the south, u will have a hard time communicating, cos ur accent will sound intimidating to them and they dont accept intimidation. dont go bragging about america, cos u will be expected to back it up with dollar-spending.
English no dey buy banga soup. even oyibo dey speak pidgin here. so, if u are really what u say u are, just COME (again). my ppl say, "leave wetin dem write for motor, enter motor". oyibo na sand sand for here. if u no carry money come nobody won c u oh. so better remain for their if u no say e no dey o! your parents get reason why dem carry u travel far.
and, if u r looking for a man, is no crime, say it openly as an american. what is your relationship status? make our spit for no waste. post a picture and REAL men on here will show you a preamble of how u WILL be viewed on arrival (again).
PoliticsRe: My Life With Ojukwu - Njideka Odumegwu-ojukwu (Ojukwu's First Wife) by jascon1(m): 11:13pm On Dec 07, 2011
wow! honestly i have never read a long comment like this since i been on NL. but for this, i wish i could scroll down to get more. many truths about our nation lie in the hearts of wives of our past leaders. she dropped it as it's hot. yes, she walked out of a marriage that put the dead on her just to make Ojukwu happy. she is golden. i'd better listened to her speak about ojukwu than Bianca. i have always wanted to hear her own take since 1988. can we have her pics on here pls

am confused! you said you can identify SCAMMERShuh na thief no thief oh. only a scammer can identify a scammer. pls dont tell no one to stop giving. how much u gethuh sad the fact that someone begged for money doesnt mean he's a scammer. some nigerians are going thru hell and hoping an angel comes along. so, as an american and a patriotic nigerian to be/is dont call a man in NEED a scammer. na u take ur mouth talk say u dey america.

CelebritiesRe: Blackface Forcefully Ejected From Apartment (Pic) by jascon1(m): 12:40pm On Dec 07, 2011
as an artist, is a known fact that u cant stay on top forever. make hay while the sun shines. when an artist explodes, he begins to get proposals. and huge money come at once. at this point is necessary to seek an investment and fast. in the western world, buying rights to evergreen songs are huge profit. people with rights to elvis presleys album, the beattles and michael jackson will NEVER go broke. even their 6th generation. cos the money never runs dry. those songs will always sell.
in 9ja royalties are not paid to artists and the only time we review old songs is the day the singer dies. artists aint celebrated here.
well, some artist search deep for self re-discovery and make a huge comeback. blackface should. already he's got the fame. with a huge comebANG and explosive collabos he will thrive again. hes got a voice, dont sideline him, pls. he can do it. all i ask is for his to put weed aside and get his nose back to work.

Foreign AffairsRe: Obama Puts Same-sex Rights At The Centre Of US Foreign Policy by jascon1(m): 12:04pm On Dec 07, 2011
beat it! hit ya govt. not the US. at this point 9ja should be giving out aid, but we are hustling for aid even with a country like zimbabwe. with or without 9ja the US stays atop. lgbt is all sin. nevertheless, u cant compare that to a 50 year old man abusing/violating a 13 year old girl. thats not fair, brother. we got daughters too and as men is our right to protect the weaker sex. gays can love themselves, who cares??
