In terms of OVERALL development, I'll go with: lagos, Delta, Ogun, Enugu, rivers, anambra, oyo n edo. These are in no particular order. But top 5 will definitely be Lagos, rivers, delta,Ogun n Anambra. My statement is further backed up by Beaf's post.

Beaf, ACN is not an ethnic party. It won seats in kwara, kogi, edo, akwa ibom, benue,anambra n the sw. They also  have strong presence in kano.

So, how can you say that ACN is an ethnic party when its the ONLY party that can oppose PDP?

It's funny that people whose states are 10 poorer than Delta state are here throwing tantroms at a state that should be the model of their various states. I'm not saying Delta state is perfect. As you said, you have a property in abuja, how come its not been demolished? It's because it it a LEGAL property. If its illegal, then, it must be demolished. We need to move past ethnicity in such trivial issues as this.

Its not that I think it was specifically done to target Ndigbo. Its just that we as a people tend to be at the receiving end of most unpopular government moves in Nigeria. Even in times of disorder and violence in a community, we're targeted first.

Coupled with the saga of the civil war as regards abandoning/ confiscation of properties of Ndigbo, one is inclined to think first that the motives and actions of the government/communities, are synonymous with the crimes of those times. This is why Ndigbo tend to complain about these things but others are quick to label us as a people with a victim mentality whereas, its entirely not the case.

I totally get you but I'm sure it was not done out of ethnic bias. Nigerians don't practice open tribalism. It's always closet tribalism such NL where they remain anonymous, most don't even use their real names as usernames cause of the crap they spew here (you r not included ).

This USELESS FORUM almost changed my view as well. Do you know that I am engaged with an Igbo lady (I love her soo so much and I can't imagine my life without her) and we plan to marry soon Do you know what this forum has done to my psyche There was even a point in time I started have this odd feeling around her but I thank God that has changed!
I was planning to come back to Nigeria and invest in the East and North (since the West in saturated) but with what I have witnessed on the forum, I am now skeptical. I mean, I do not want my investments to be burnt down by some Northern almajiris or some Igbos because of envy (Actually, Igbos will not burn it down but they will not allow it to grow because you are an outsider).

Guy, I have learnt to develop a tough skin on NL, I know it does not represent the true Nigerians and I have stopped taking this forum serious. I have even cut down on the number of comments in a bid to eventually leave! I will kindly advise you to do the same. [/b]
