I was called to prepare for medicals with a indigenous oil firm, a week later covid-19 lockdown happened, later on I heard that the company cancelled the recruitment... My brother, if its yours, its yours, if it isn't, then it isn't.... |

SUPERPACK:Oil isn't our problem... Rather the problem is corruption mixed with a touch of clueless leaders |
scheme124:What of delta state? I know say na we invent competition sha..lol |
scheme124:I'm awaiting mine |
scheme124:Amen to that.... |
scheme124:Done boss |
Bomshell84:Yea, and that's where the factor he mentioned, greed, comes in |
scheme124:Boss can i DM you?? |
nasiest:Na who get career naim de advance am o...lol... But on a more serious note, greed isn't the only reason why people change jobs... There are other reasons, for instance, 1. JOB SATISFACTION No matter how much an engineer is earning in a bank, as long as it isn't what he always wanted to do, if he sees an engineering opportunity with almost the same offer, he would take it immediately. 2. JOB SECURITY Some persons work with some particular organisations, not because of the pay, but because there is no fear of losing their jobs, just like that, and that's the reason why a friend of mine who is working with Exxonmobil currently also applied for this NCDMB as an experienced hire.. 3. CAREER ADVANCEMENT Lol... This one has been overflogged but i would still shed some more light on it ... Assuming you work in an organisation where due to your qualifications, age, date of employment or whatever reasons, you can't grow beyond a particular level, and you get an offer in another firm where you would be able to get to that level that you wished to get to, won't you take up that offer?? 4. BETTER WORKING CONDITIONS A relation recently left a job paying him approximately 280k/month for a job paying him 240k/month, and when asked why, he said its due to the working conditions of the former place. The former place required him to be at the office Monday to Friday, and then also work from home on Saturdays and Sundays, but the new place requires just the normal Monday to Friday, and that's what he opted for. 5. BETTER PAY It's not necessarily due to greed, but due to an increase in responsibility. From economics we are made to understand that the more you earn, the more your needs/wants/responsibilities increases and so inorder to accommodate the ever increasing responsibilities, you would also need to have an ever increasing source of income. Or would you say it's greed that would make you to have a side hustle, or a BTC wallet, even though you already have a job, no matter how much the pay is?? My opinion though.. |
Newcastle2023:And the final piece of the puzzle has spoken .. thanks to you, scheme and lekks... God bless you all and see you all at the NCT |

The scores here been referred to are not the results of the tests, but would most likely be the cummulative of our uploaded documents... For those who have done interviews before, you would know that scores are awarded for whatever document you present. |
Crytoguy:Na because of people like you, naim make people wey de give us update don stop... Nonsense |
Commanderinpips:Hello, can i please come and work with you guys Please |
TalentUpAfrica:Most of these red flags aren't supposed to be there in the first instance... Someone who hasn't had a job for more than 5 years and has been living from hand to mouth, where do you expect him to get a suit to wear for the interview...just saying... I tend to stutter when speaking (although writing is a different ball game entirely ), so i usually compensate ny speaking fast, and some interviewers tend to view this as nervousness... nervousness my foot... I answered your questions correctly, but because i stuttered, you say I'm nervous... Nonsense....Interviewers (especially HR personnel) should put themselves in the shoes of the applicants and understand how they feel before giving their final remarks... Just my thoughts |

Folarxn:This one never de reach one year sef? |
Personally i think the essence of this thread is to suggest that the organisers should have chosen people who know about music and not just by popularity or fame or whether or not their songs trended... Take Cobhams for example, that guy knows a lot about music (popularity aside). Another splendid example would be Timi Dakolo, that's another person that knows about music, even Waje, Chidinma Ekele, Chike or Praiz are better candidates than the lot out there on that stage...and there are many others like them who are even better than those i suggested.. Hopefully they learn from this and do better in their selection of judges when the show goes live. |
NamelessOGBENI:Instead of them to carry Timi dakolo, Cobhams and Waje... Mtcheew |
meobizy:A lot of people watch "THE VOICE" but you see this sham of a show called "Nigerian Idols", nahh... Its a waste of intellectual capabilities by watching the show... A black man who has no idea of what music sounds like, always photocopying an upcoming artiste's (Seyi Shay) opinion and a DJ who is even more unpopular than DJ cuppy... Mheeeen.... The show should be scrapped or better and more competent judges brought on |
