Good morning everyone. Pls I need ur advice.
I have known my fiance for some yrs now and we plan settling down. One of the factors I love abt him is that he thinks ahead(a real goal-setter). Both families have given their consent to the extent that the traditional list has been given to them. The thing now is, we intend getting married as soon as possible(in April) in order to get things formal n avoid side talks...and also considering our spiritual positions.but when I mentioned it to my parents n he to his pple,they objected to it saying it's too impromptu. My parents are saying we have to "prepare well"(spending-wise) from our side and I think his pple are assuming he will "forget" abt them once he gets married(since he assists the family,though the last child).I am from Abia state and he is from Edo state.I am currently learning fashion designing while awaiting Nysc in May. I av tried convincing my parents I dnt want to wait but get married but they r thinking I am the one forcing the guy to marry me.N.B,I am d fourth child and 2nd daughter,none of my siblings are married yet. So most times I try to stand my grounds,they hush me and this is also making my fiance think am not ready to settle down with him yet. Yes,my parents(esp my mum) are disciplinarians. Pls,wat is required of me to prove to them I am ready to become a wife?

Thank you but I knew that, he actually told me to lie down and strip to my undies which wasn't a problem as that wasn't my first visit to the doctor's(I've had my vagin* examined couple of times).

Don't you think I can tell the difference from brushing and actually rubbing the clit? This did not even happen on my first visit to him, the first day I went, everything was fine and I had tests done, this incident happened when I came back for the test results.

It was recently that I found out that in the Nigerian medical system, everyone who doesnt need to know, knows about the illness except the person who the matter actually partains to ie the patient

It is wrong. Patients are not stuppid and have a right to know whats wrong with them so they can get ready and tidy up affairs if need be

It not the doctors right to decide or prevent people from knowing what happening to their own bodies/lives.

What if they aren't trained on how to deliver such news?

Weeks before he had asked my older son to please take his dog for walkies
My neighnour and his wife left at noon on Saturday and got back at noon on Sunday
My kid walked the dog at 5pm and again at 10pm
My neighbours family member also came on Sunday morning to walk the dog
This is just a dog and for one night
Talk less of leaving kids at home by themselves for 3 weeks.
