Gboliwe: R231, Chaircover, Jaybee3, Jarus, OAM4J, Pickabeau, Tgirl4real etc please come and attend to this username/post. Acknowledging him will encourage him further which in turn will make this thread about TeHN and we do not want to divert attention from folake. We have already made an official statement regarding this case and gave reasons why we can't be officially involved as a group. If he has evidence to substantiate his claims then he should please open a seperate thread where i'd be more than happy to engage him |

kingolaola: I wonder how you will feel if after all these you find out that you have been doing and arguing the wrong thing. For your information, Folake is married. So dont expect our name to be same.
The age on that paper is 31 sir. Please be aware that a lot of people will still come to see Folake from Nairaland and this same paper will be shown to them to confirm. The representative today requested for these documents and she just shook head because they are many. Tests result, receipt and all documents are available.
So sorry dr. Can you please ignore the distractions for now. I will advice you to provide updates as the funds trickle in. It will help increase your integrity |

Imanuelle: Oh well, I thought we were having a gist on the process, didn't know you were arguing. You claimed the machine can't deliver 100% efficiency and i'm telling you it's possible since the expected outcome is defined and the input is fixed. The hardware expects to read a familiar barcode which then gets processed by the inbuilt software (PIC) that compares the tranformed variables with the preloaded values within seconds. That's merely a repetitve task that will almost certaily deliver 100% accuracy. The only outside factor that can allow it malfunction is loss of power which they are going to counter by having a back up reader |

Evina: :oo I don't even know why Nigerians love the UK that bad. How can one leave a really good job in Nigeria and relocate to the UK? I just don't get it. With all the crazy taxes! I even prefer Canada to the UK. UK is like home. It's highly diversed and racism is not as much compared to other developed countries. It's also viewed as a next door neighbour since it's just a lil over 6 hours flying time |
Politics › Re: Atahiru Jega Addressed The Nigerian Senate On 18th February 2014 (Video) by jaybee3(m): 3:59pm On Feb 18, 2015 |
Imanuelle: Machines aren't 100% efficient.
Asides the disorderliness, sometimes they will have toescan the cards two to three times, before the machine picks it up. Some persons will have to try the thumb printing for up to 5 times, all these activities will take time. They can be so please don't argue. I'm not talking about mechanical process. We are talking about software process flow here The process of verification if disorderliness isnt a factor shouldn't take that much time after factoring the contigency period of an hour max. |

Imanuelle: The bolded is not feasible. Not visible because Nigerians are disorderly and won’t obey simple instructions? If yes, then a n hour contingency wouldn’t be out of place Electronic hardware/software can reproduce processes to 0% error margin 100% of the time |

obasy09: You nail it bro. Exactly! However there is little modification to the traditional voting and counting procedure. Means you can't possibly have tewonde George's magicmathics again They will have to explain how they managed to authenticate and vericate less than the collated votes. |
Politics › Re: Atahiru Jega Addressed The Nigerian Senate On 18th February 2014 (Video) by jaybee3(m): 3:21pm On Feb 18, 2015 |
komek: JEGA said accreditation with the card reader starts from 8am-1pm. Then voting starts from 1pm - God knows when.
Abaribe did a very good mathematical analysis that if INEC uses card reader in a ward that has 500 eligible voters, that btw 8-1pm is a 5hours time frame, now if you are doing accreditation on 1minute per person( which was not even possible from the way tried to show us on TV) that it means 60 people will be accredited at 60mins and 300 eligible voters will be accredited at 5hours thereby INEC will disenfranchise the remaining 200 Nigerians... For that it may not be possible using the card reader. Bros na so "NEPA" take light o. They did mention 30 secs per accreditation 2*60*5 = 600 Worst case sceario it gets extended for an extra hour but trust Nigerians to turn up late then demand special priviledges |

chaircover: Truthfully, many people given an oppourtunity will prefer to stay in the UK compared to Nigeria, but she went about it very selfishly and very deceitfuly and very stupidly.
Hpwever all she had to do was to talk to her husband and find a way of convincing him rather that playing dirty games. She is only being silly anyway becasue both she and her husband would have been illegal immigrants and their stay wouldnt have been a palatable one at all.
I wont be surprised if she started a relationship with another man with the hope of getting papers and she has been conned by now She is most probably now a single mother pushing pram all over the place & the man laughing his head off.
Her stupidity has put her in this position. Infact I feel sorry for her, cos she has made a major mistake that she may never recover from. One day she will regret her actions. The day a married woman insults her for being too "friendly" with her husband is the day that she will know what she has lost.
@op, your friend though very hurt, has to move on. She would have shown her true colours sooner or later anyway. Thank God that there are no children involved. I honesty didn't read the above quote but i'd love to tell you say i too gbadun youuuuuuu |

Imanuelle: There are back up plans which vary from the use of register, issuance of forms, getting annother card reader, or rescheduling of the exercise in the affected units. makes perfect sense then I like the fact that chips are being used in the readers as they can be forensically analysed if needed Slowly but surely we shall get there |

Why many people dull like this? But it's possible to disenfranchise eligible voters due to system malfunction. Have they got back up plans? |

Matthewbriggs: Nairaland is one of most visited Nigerian social network, with a huge youth demographic. Online conversation spill offline that is what we forget. The real reach of NL is not in it actual user number but relationships this User number have offline... Any PR company that knows it onions would not neglect this platform.
It is not new that conversation that happen online are shaping offline activities. It would be gross negligence to neglect this platform. It would surprise you that companies, politicians and big brands actually come here among many other platforms to analyse the conversations going of here and sometimes it end up shaping their policy or direction
Ads are not enough to reach out to your target audience ... One key tool of image management or laundering PR firms use is to disguise as regular users to pass across their views opinions and promote their causes. I get that bro.. I'm not trying to diminish the impact it could make but what i'm questioning is the significance of that impact in the wider scheme of things. The age demographics of NL is probably highly consentrated in the range 17-24 meaning a lot of them won't vote nor be able to significantly influence voting pattern when it's clearly evident that votes are usually on sale for the highest bidder as far as election is concerned in Nigeria. |
