NL has a privately owned website has rules that all members are meant to abide by.
The rules overrides whatever intentions that was behind the creation of the chat room.
For example,  Indecency posting rule overrides any other rules on this forum same as e-fights et al.

If you want to delete, i believe you can always delete chit chats or older complains that may have been solved, not fresh complains and yet NOTHING is DONE about them! I do understand/appreciate your point of view but chances of people referencing the chat room is zilch.
I just stopped seeing the point with opening series thread when it's quite obvious 100% of the posts are just plain gibberish albeit allowed hence the title.

Do you actually know the reason why the thread was considered and in turned opened?
If you don't know then here the reason goes. It was opened so that all derailers can gather under one roof to mingle and chat about whatever they so like and in turn free up threads for serious minded folks.
