Education › Re: Are Nigerian Graduates Useless, Especially Engineers ? by jaybee3(m): 2:03pm On Jul 06, 2011 |
buzugee: there is a difference ? Engineering technicians solve technical problems in research and development, manufacturing, sales, construction, inspection, and maintenance by using science, engineering and mathematical principles. They often assist engineers and scientists. The work of engineering technicians is more application oriented and more limited in scope than that of engineers. http://careerplanning.about.com/od/occupations/p/engineer_tech.htm |

buzugee: see this engineer getting grimey. in naija people will laugh at this guy for climbing poles http://www.coexasia.com/images/Engineer%20at%20work-sm.jpg This is laughable like really, wearing an overcoat makes someone an engineer? I can bet that dude is most certainly a telecoms technician |

buzugee: I see yall coming down hard on a brother. all these sensitive engineers we have on NL. now i see why nigerian engineers cant do nothing but figure out how to balance onion on top of suya. yall so sensitive hence you dont wanna get your hands dirty. you rather wear shirt and tie than sweat under a greasy machinery. bourgeois engineers. if you wanna wear shirt and tie why not go in for business administration or secretarial studies ? Yet another misconception from NL's resident whiner. Design/management is for engineers as maintenance is for technicians. gerrit? |

buzugee: bros how body now ? you just go missing in action like dat sha. hope all is well. i hear ya but this obtains in all aspects of naija life. why engineers cant build inverters, gens, water generating pumps in villages, solar panels etc etc, we are endowed with the resources to make them. this is why westerners come to steal these resources. because we are not using them. the engineers are busy drinking peppersoup Chairman debosky has already hit the nail on the head debosky: majority of rigs are built in specific countries in the world with the competitive advantage to do so. No point reinventing the wheel when you can get the technology off the shelf and use it in your application. It's simply not economically viable bro. use ya brain . Why do you think Apple assembles their numerous products in China? |

wontootree: Thank God finally somebody raised this issue, we have a lot of certified criminal working in our MM airport in the name of immigration, doing all they can to steal from mostly first time travellers. I was a victim too. Next i will come to Nigeria i will definitely use secret cameras on my body to capture this for everybody to see i swear, bunch of idiots, They don't care if u miss your freight, Immigration not Customs. @topic They tried it once with me when i was coming back to the UK and i gladly told them i was prepared to leave the garri with them if they had be satisfied with that. Why must i bribe? Indulging them is a crime on it's own. How will Nigeria ever move forward when her citizen can't stand up to be counted. SMH |

Romance › Re: How Do You Make Someone Know You Really Like Him? by jaybee3(m): 4:45pm On Jun 27, 2011 |
VALIDATOR: If a man supposedly likes you that much and the burning fire love is not fierce enough to give him the necessary push to express himself in words to you, then he is still not your man.
All you can do as a woman is to make yourself available around him for a while in the presence of other people. If he doesn't catch your drift, then walk away and save yourself the tears that will come rolling down from your eyes later. Why ask her to play games? what if this dude upgrade to the taken status whilst she is still making herself around him. Ain't nothing wrong in being forward and asking the man out for a drink et al. Most men will get the drift especially when conversations geared towards relationship/availability status are plain simple and concise. It's not like you had be jumping into bed with him straight after your intentions are made known. |
