Statistically it appears that way but we all know if you analyse the main reasons for those numbers, you'd see that it takes children been brought up in the way of the lord to shine away from negative things in their surroundings.
And if that's the main reason why can't that be instilled in whatever location they reside?

That's what i av been hammering all along. why don't the girl just tell him she expects to be reimbursed on arrival. If they can't agree on that then he should do the flying or driving over.

I will only have a problem with her if indeed she does have the money but obviously going along Uju's stance that men are suppose to do this or that.

We all go on dates and traditionally the norm is for the men to pay but why do the women do this days? because they want a say in the relationship. No one wants to be treated like a bimbo. And i certainly don't want a woman to think i'm some bank that she can withdraw money from anytime she wishes.

Everything depends on how committed they are with each other. If it's just child's play then it's a no no but if it's going to be something serious then Why the heck NOT.

Will she hire a forensic scientist to figure out who took the money ? when it is OBVIOUS that you never deposited the money in the bank as a result YOU should be help responsible ?

typical nigerian reasoning, and you sure wouldn't be surprised abt how many people have suffered at the hands of inept police officers with such reasoning. now cos money wasn't deposited means he should be held responsible? yes he needs to be questioned but not necessarily held responsible for not depositing the money. he could have been robbed for all i care and or just stupidly misplaced the dough.

why do you think stone cold killers sometimes walk away from court in the western world? simple, without no staunch evidence the will be laughed at on the court. i have performed jury service in the UK and we are always told only to convict when we are certain beyond reasonable doubt and this is where evidence is needed
