Accept the course and study it for one year, if you still don't develop interest, then put in for another admission for Nursing by next year. Sometimes likeness for certain courses is preconceived....
But don't waste 1 whole year at home roaming the streets.... At the end of the day in Nigeria it is not about the certificate it's about what you exposed yourself to.

Listen I have led teams/managed huge number of employees across diverse industries, the number one rule is dedication/firmness. If you are paid to do job, there is no option, you've got to do it and very well. That's why there is performance reviews!

Now I understand the point you are thinking from, you have only been hired to manage people, you have not managed your personal business, because if you have, you will have more understanding of managing people when you are the risk bearer but being employed you will run away if your technique fail and leave the owner to bear the loss of your ineptness.

I have been reading comments here for some time: some I like, some I find interesting, and some I don't find desirable. But your comment is very special, in a very negative way. That is why I chose to quote you.

You see....whether you fear death or not , you will still die. The "fear of death" and "timidity" that your comment is encouraging will not make those who apply your logic invulnerable to death. In fact, those who apply your logic will have two problems: first, they will still die, like all men would, both bold and timid. Secondly, in their lifetime, they would not be able to attract substantial respect from both their inferiors and superiors.

At op, you are doing a good job. Just don't let power corrupt you. When it's the right time for action, hit hard. Other times, just keep calm and strategize.

Don't worry about what happens to people who use my logic, but for me it has always worked and through it I get well along with employees and followers, with a chunk of respect from every one of them.

You don't know anything, have you heard stories of people that lose their lives by attacks from their employees, if he wants to be safe he has to act humbly, even if he will fire them later.
