1. I'm a Rivers man and I dont think I've had any governor better than Wike, PDP has crooks and the man is not perfect, but he is working for the state and fighting our cause and it is visible.

2. Anybody can attest to the fact, that we have no good stadiums in the country which is embarrassing, but we saw the Uyo stadium that we've been playing in, now we can have a stadium to be proud of

3. Minister of works, Gov Fashola. Up for debate, but he has made a concerted effort to fix the power crisis and involve private sector in modernising infrastructure.

I think you are misunderstanding the whole concept of atheism, it is not christians, muslims, hindu whatever that anyone has a problem with. It is the whole concept of god altogether and the resulting religions

I was born in  Nigeria. I was raised in a Christian (Anglican) home. I currently live abroad. And I am agnostic. Not an atheist but agnostic.

And I am one of those who strongly believe that religion/dogma is destroying society, especially in Nigeria.

The first person I told about this was my mom, when I was in my late teens. Now, my aunts and grandmother are aware about me and all believe I'm going through a phase. Oh they couldn't be more wrong.

I think the thread should be renamed to include agnostics, but wow telling your mother? I wouldn't dream of doing that or letting my family be aware of my atheism, I would be rebuked, prayed for and so on. I really do envy you

I am an atheist living in Nigeria, lol and I go to a christian university, I have been an atheist for quite a while, to the point where I am so comfortable in my unbelief and cant be bothered to even get into an argument with the few people I tell I do not believe in God.
