raumdeuter:
Amaechi or Rochas wont become president as long as they cant pull overwhelming support of your region in votes

If Buhari stays till 2023, I suspect Fashola would be the next with a competent Northerner deputy. Unfortunately Tambuwal was burnt his goodwill with the Swest in the Saraki issue So it might be El Rufai deputizing Fashola in 2023
Will El Rufai have the humility to deputize Fashola?

doctokwus:
U think those sponsoring IPOB have any care as to where they destroy? No sir!
It's exactly because of d present vulnerability of the SE that it will be a prime target for them.
The NE is heavily militarized and with BH being decimated, its no longer conducive for violent acts. Other regions of the north have historically not been a fertile ground for extended acts of violence, besides d military active presence there too cause of fear of spread of BH.
The NCentral has a Fulani issue and they wud hope that escalates on its own,so that too is out.
The Swest is a poor area to spread violence because u can't use any sentiment of marginalization or lack of federal presence to hoodwink people with it's stake in,and support it gave this govt. That too is out.
SS,despite it's loss is not a homogenous region and it's past militancy has also upped the military presence in the region.
It makes d SE with poor military presence, people who had sentimental attachment to the govt of the clueless one, have a feeling of having been shortchanged for a long time, a prime and easy target to get recruits and carry out violent acts.
As to your assertion that they wudnt want to sabotage the region economically,i laff again, because they don't give a hoot, the sponsors that is.Do u realise that as biz savvy as the SE is, markets and bizs,on which majority survive on,have persistently been closed for several days in most of the states, over the past 3months due to the protests of IPOB ?Do u know the economic cost and havoc on some people and families?Yet,these evil doers are ready to sponsor more of such protests and u think they wud think twice about sponsoring acts of violence in the region? No, they won't sir, because it's the most vulnerable region now, has easy to convince recruits and will thus serve the goal of their backers!!
I believe these agitators and their sponsors are SEasterners, and I believe also they have lots of supporters and sympathisers among the South Eastern populace, hence the compliance with the market shutdown directives. I begin to wonder to what ENDS, South easterners destabilizing their region, making it a hotbed for violence and terrorism

divinehand2003:
If south south joins biafra, who then becomes minority? For we know that the majority which is south east will see the right to rule always as theirs since they have a greater population. My dear, it's better to divider the country along six geopolitical units so as to proffer equity
They want to be the dominant majority tribe in a Biafra republic with the SS, the same thing they accuse the Northerners of in the same Nigeria they want to break away from, and the same reason they give for their wanting to break away from Nigeria.

doctokwus:
IPOB is a sponsored group and with the PMB govt not buying into its game and continuing trying to move the nation forward ,the sponsors wud get more desperate and start sponsoring acts of terrorism and violence. That is my fear of what the SE have allowed itself to be deluded into.
The PMB govt can save the SE region from itself by exposing those financing these protests b4 they get so frustrated as to carry out the next stage of their plan to make his govt so unstable as not to carry out the fighting corruption to a standstill and revamping Nigeria.
@the bolded though I have thought along that line also but then I realized that the Igbos are NOT that STUPID to ground their region economically via terrorism and violence. What I feel is that they may take the violence outside the SE. when that happens, the anger and reprisals against the Igbos will be devastating because the feelings among other tribes is that the Igbos are bitter about the loss of GEJ in the last election and are carrying a vendetta against other Nigerians. Unlike Boko haram that is confined to the North, (mostly North east) and is carried out by a few raving lunatics, It will be difficult to identify which Igbo is an IPOB member, supporter or sympathiser from those that are not. I believe the Government know this, I also believe that the Government expects the protests will die down. Hence the snub.
These are my personal views though. The turn of events will prove it right or wrong.

Gbawe:
Bro, I can agree with you that Fashola was the choice of Buhari as VP but Osinbajo has grown into his own as VP and is doing a great job.

In the end God ensured things worked out well for Nigeria. We have a great VP and Fashola has gotten critical portfolios he can use to revolutionise Nigeria. In hindsight, even as I was one of those who wanted Fashola as VP, I now think it was for the best that Fashola did not become VP. If Fashola excels then this is a sure route to him becoming President in future.
I absolutely agree with your post.

gionee people make good phones with good specs and great battery life, but they hardly have the masses in mind, they forget Nigeria I'd a developing country and has majority of The masses as poor, their phones are usually expensive, and rvry font really market their products much or very friendly to customers

My Opinion sha
Gionee phones are not expensive. To me, it is the cheapest and best value for money you can get. M2 mini is 13,900 naira. m3 mini is 16,500 naira. m5 beats tecno phantom 5 hands down is sold for 43,500 naira while tecno phantom 5 is 69,999 naira.

Gionee don't understand the African mobile market. Companies like Tecno, Infinix are doing very well. Report has it that Tecno sold over 45 millions of phones last year in Africa. Gionee market strategy is poor
And gionee makes FAR BETTER phones than Tecno and Infinix. Their marketing strategy is poor. I personally knew gionee from online reviews, blogs and forum like nairaland, not from their indirect advertising through mass media. Am using my second gionee phone and I have recommended to 4 other people.

Teedol:
The bottom line is that most Nigerians forget things easily, I remembered Ambode almost lost the last election cos pple believed he cared more for the rich than d poor. Am happy Ambode checked d powers of the silly LASTMA goats. As per d security issue, blame the police and d present economic condition of the country. As far as am concerned the state doesn't have its own police force, the state govt can only aid the police with operational vehicles and probably insentives to do a better job and which am sure Ambode has been doing.
Both you and the person you quoted have both said the truth. God bless you both.
one thing that I will add and people are not looking at is the proliferation of arms during the last presidential election. We know the party and the candidate that gave hoodlums and criminals weapons money and contracts in other to help him win (rig) the election. These weapons may be the same used to terrorize lagosians and by the same set of criminals and hoodlums.
We can still recall the Lekki and Festac robberies just before the election, it is still the same trend and pattern these robberies follow.
Ambode just need to sit up and work extra smart to rid our dear state of these obnoxious elements because failure is not an option and excuses can never be tolerated by opposition and supporters alike.
GOD bless and help our Governor to succeed.
Eko oni baje. It will prosper higher.

the worst part is that they always fast to be first to accuse others of ethnic politics while they are d worst culprit
It was JK that played ethnic politics. Realistically he had a very good chance until he started playing the ethnic card making his campaign look like an Igbo thing. As Yoruba, born and bred in Lagos, live in a Yoruba dominated area (at least 95%) I know the pulse among my people. Jk had 50% of yoruba support until he messed up his campaign by so many unguarded ethnic statements that portrayed his expected government as an Igbo only affair. We Yorubas had to switch our support to Ambode. That was what also made the Oba get mad at JK and the Igbos. Truth is JK would have won but he messed up his campaign himself. He was loved by us, and he still is but he killed his political career by being tactless.
