A classmate of my wife in Canada just got her child's visit visa approved. The son applied in May 2024 and it was approved yday.

The sports was created in binary like 0 and 1.

Like say 0 for women and 1 for men.

Now in the spirit of fairness, all athletes are classified under one of the above buckets.

The sports didn't envisage where one may be 0 (a woman) but have some traits of 1 (a man) because when this happens and the athlete is classified as a female (0), it becomes unfair to other athletes who are normal female (0).

It's a complex case where we cannot say she is 100% female (0) neither can we say she is 100% male (1).

The issue now is if even if you create a transgender group let's say group 1.5 , there will still be issues because some Trans will be more males than females or more females than males.

Try study route for Masters for her if u re capable. It means 27k CAD living expenses for both of you plus school fees averagely above 30k CAD. That will give her SP and you SOWP for the period of study and then after study 3yrs PGWP for her and 3 yrs SOWP for you. This is if she has BSc and 2.1 which most uni in Canada requires.

You earlier explained a scenario where let's say the applicant leaves Canada after extending his visitor visa to visitor record and then reapplies for visitor visa outside Canada...you said siuch extension to visitor record could be a trust issue for earning visitor visa . What about if the visitor record (extendion) is still valid in Canada and the spouse of the student wants to convert to SOWP with spouse PGWP and full time offer, how can an ongoing extension be a blocker for incountry applicantion for SOWP in this case if they have requested extension via visitor record? Pls enlighten us.

If your spouse is not a master’s or PhD student, you will only get a visitor visa. However, your daughter can get a visitor record inside Canada that will allow her to stay based on the duration of your spouse’s study permit. you can only stay for a maximum of six months on a visitor visa. You can extend it, but you cannot work, so be careful. Staying 6 month and unnecceary extension might affect your chances of getting a one or three-year open work permit when your spouse qualifies for a PGWP, depending on the length of studies after completing the program. Plan ahead on how to get a SOWP when your spouse graduates and tell ur spouse to start considering the PR route now.

You need to be patient with the long process (6months) as I am also in your WhatsApp group.

Draw a family tree and indicate cousin relationship where maiden surnames could be the same or current surname.

Add proof of the above along stuffs like birth certificate and acceptable IDs.

Lols I get your points too but my fear for such person is when they carry that mentality because I can assure you that a lot of people normalize such wrong habits when it works for them once or twice. They even call it grace.

I know a student who was working more than the stipulated student hours doing Uber and not even going to classes. IRCC caught him when he wanted to apply for PGWP. He was denied and asked to leave Canada immediately that his aim was never to come and study.

Danger of doing wrong is you may just become use to it and abroad is not Nigeria, you will be caught and pay for it dearly. I encourage everyone to try as much as possible to do things rightly because it pays in the long run.

People hide under hardship and challenges to promote fraud, that itself is fraudulent. They just don't care if there action affects others so far they have their way. There is a timeline to applying for PGWP once an Intl Student graduates and this happens once in a lifetime. So if you enrol in the PGD programme when your hubby is entitled to PGWP, he has to utilize the PGWP e lse he will lose it for life and not be entitled to another one in future. So better you allow him utilize it while you look for a Masters programme you can use to convert him to SOWP when you re enrolled or have graduated should his PGWP expire and he hasn't been able to get PR or another work permit. PGD is not Masters wether it's done in the University or College.

Extension doesn’t lead to change of status to work permit. You’d simply have another 6 months visit visa.
What’s your spouse studying for? Diploma? masters? PhD?
For you to change to work permit, you’d have to get a job with an LMIA approved company within the initial 6 months or the additional 6 months if extension is granted and use the job offer to apply for work permit.
Legit LMIA job offer is difficult to get though.
