I came upon this on Twitter and it's pretty much self-explanatory on how big money behaves... It's one of the reasons ehy I'm not carried away trying to rationalize every dip to a news event. I've come to see that bitc0in only moves when whales are done buying or selling. The bitc0in price is based on a constant flux between buyers and sellers.... Once one group wins the market moves quickly in the direction of the winners until another area of battle is reached. From the chart, it's clear that long-term holders who were interested in filling their bags we below 60k and would aim to slowly sell as the market rallies above 60k... Funny enough it was at 30k when retail traders capitulated on the China news that long-term holders were adding the most.

HayTerran:In crypt0 it usually doesn't help to have a fixed monthly or two-month price target you think price must get to. The market could do anything in a month or two. The 115% apr (annual percentage rate) is the interest if held over a year. I also hold axs which I see as more of a short term move and should liquidate on its next move. It's worth noting that axs was 2 dolls few months back... At 8b usd market cap, it still has room to grow but that growth wouldn't be as fast..... If you are attracted to it because of it's previous pump, it's also worth looking at it from a potential return on investment from where it currently is in relation to other coyns |
Sucremaque:Please can you stop spamming this thread with some good-for-nothing airdrop. Its either you're part of the scam or youre part of the gullible few who the scammers have promised rewards to bring in others.... Have some self respect |
nna777:By confident I mean the market is not as fearful as it'd usually be during dips. I use alyt performance to guage confidence in the market. Bitc0in is making lower lows but alyts have held on pretty well... Means folks haven't capitulated and are confident there'd be a bounce.... Sometimes, such scenes end in a capitulation selloff... Similar to May this year |
EXLOVER:Very much a scam... Wonder why he keeps reposting it... Is he part of the scam team or the gullible who've been deceived to bring in more people for micro rewards |
doyin01:The monthly chart can end very differently from what ot looks like now.... |
nna777:Yeah... But if one has been waiting, its not a bad place to deploy some fiat while waiting... Looking at confluence across the market, eith is at 3900-4000k..... This level not holding will make it see 3400- 3600... While waiting for a dip, it's important to know when to start averaging in... My main concern is that folks seem tok confident on this dip |
9japple:Love your analysis... Clear charts with neat levels... On cream... Heard there was a hack or vulnerability in the smart contract that was exploited... If that's the case, it'd be a struggle until its fixed and investor confidence restored... Already, layer 2s have taken a severe beating |
DieRich5:Hype coyns are good... But it's more important to know when to enter and where to take your loot into... The issue is knowing when to enter and managing risk... To me, tge best time to enter such coyns is after a sell off or when folks have forgot about the coyn or just before a breakout (if you can spot one) Usually, at the start of a cycle, my eith bag is not very large, but as the cycle matures, I move profits from hype coyns into some of the slow but sure movers... |
DaemoLee:You get me wrong on a number of things.... Everyone has how they navigate the market. I made a post a while back on how I allocate my portfolio among coyns in different groups... Majors, layer 1s, layer 2s meme coyns, micros e.t.c So when I talk about purchasing a coyn, I do that in relation to my portfolio allocation for tokens in its group. When I look at coyns, I look at them from 2 perspectives... PA/TA and tokenomics. Take ada for example, the PA has been impressive. The reason I trade ada is due to it's relationship with eith.... Eith always forms part of my portfolio for obvious reasons. Ada has done its job of helping me maximize my gains on eith... If I was going to flip eith, itd be into bitc0in or another major not some microcap. Now when u look at the what tokenomics on ada, I agree it needs to start living upto it's initial promise.... I avoid trading hype.... Few weeks back, when ada pumped, every post on this thread was talking about it, now because it's retraced to the weekly support, it's dead in water..... You mention meta coyns... Would interest you to know I bought mana at 0.6 and I sold it for a 2.5x... It's rallied past my sell point... Have I jumped back in? No... Am I worried? No... Would I be in regret in it does a 10x from here without me being in position? No. If there is an opportunity in it, I'd get in, if not, I'd let it ride.... Like I said, I don't chase hype... Similar to doge and shib.... Few weeks back when there was hype around doge and folks were waiting for it to explode with every tweet by Elon, I remember saying I felt too many folks were in the wait.. That doge doesn't pump that way... And I think another meme will move first hence I split my meme portfolio between the two... This was in Aug/Sep....when shib started moving, I allocated more into it. Even though I didn't trade it as well, was able to eck out more than 5x from it before taking a large chunk back into doge... My entry on doge is all within 0.2-0.25... Even though I'm not expecting major returns on it due to it's market cap... I'm ok to stay put till I see another meme that suits my fancy... I wouldn't go jumping into every 'inu' coyn.... The rate at which tokens are launched is the more reason I try to filter out the noise and stick to a few and not go jumping from position to position cos I'm 'chasing trends'. The funny thing is all this started when you asked me about DAR and LAZ which were newly listed and I told you I tend to avoid buying newly listed coyns generally moreso on binaz. Will I sell my eith/ada portfolio to buy either of those two or a new shiny coyn that folks say would do a 100x? Never. It doesn't matter if they go on to do a 100x or not. That is how I plan my trade... Folks should have their plan too |
CRV.... Been tracking this for a while.... The week still has some days to go but a weekly close like this would be bullish... With a market cap of 1.7 B, this could easily see a 5x to 20 dolls on it's next upward tick
|
Who else has noticed some similarity in movt between DOT and LINK.... Where link seems to lag the PA of DOT... Recently, DOT rallied from low 20's to 38 before retracing to a base of 27 and then a rally to 50... LINK seems to be on same path
|
Ibime:Hehe.... Reminds me of vibes after a sell off.... When the talk is then 'I have my bids waiting at...' Usually, either the coyn doesn't dips to that level, nukes thru it or gets there in such a way that folks pull their bids in terror. |
Also, another good thing is there are less angry folks who turn up after every dip and are angry that no one has a crystal ball to tell them what the price of bitc0in will be at a particular day and time...... If there was a magic ball that accurately fortold what any market will do in the immediate future, then there'd be no market to trade... Thats trading 101..... |
This is the first bitc0in dip in a while where this place is not caught up in what news event caused tge selloff or not. Seems there's now a gradual understanding that no market goes up (or down) in a straight line. Every market has its ebs and flows and buyers and sellers interract.... A good thing I'd say.... |
FASTCHOW:So someone asked for your NL details to give a loan and you went along to give him ??I wouldn't be surprised that same NL password cuts across most of your accounts.... Some people shouldn't be on the internet |
DenreleDave:The issues with defi.... Has the hack been rectified? |
SUPERPACK:I don't know what wallet this is... Never used it... A quick Google search should show what chains are supported or not |
DaemoLee:On big exchanges, it's best to keep off newly listed coyns until a proper bottom structure ihas formed. Of course, some coyns pump after listing.... But knowing which is a hit or miss. I'd rather leave money in ada than chase newly listed binaz coyns. Regarding development, Ada still has lots of growth to do. For PA, it's managed to keep up with eth... But as eth 2.0 draws closer, eth which is a monster has begun to pull away.... Ada needs to get its defi amd dapps running as other layer 1s are providing good competition already. |
Why not take her to see a dermatologist.... Preferably in a teaching hospital |
Daemo111:Let's see how this week and next goes... Some good offers acroos board which I've taken advantage of.. hopefully more juicy offers soon |
For those asking, on this dip, I'm focused on getting entry into midcaps within 1- 5 billion usd market cap... Preferably those sitting on their weekly support... Looking at crv and chz in this group. For micros below 1 b usd cap, still same coyns I've been compounding These should offer good risk/reward going forward |
DaemoLee:Regarding DAR, I tend to keep off newly listed coyns as they're unpredictable... With no previous levels, it's difficult to say how low they'd dip Same goes for Lazio... PSG has clearer levels. Also, that a coyn is cheap or expensive has little to do with the sticker price. I'd consider Ada for example more expensive than laz |
Alot has happened today and it's not nice to see folks leave.... Hopefully, they return... Questioning opinions isn't bad moreso if done properly. I also question my bias. That's how to survive in this space... For example, even though it seems bitc0in will go on another rally and I've planned for that, from time to time I question that thought process and see where it could go wrong. Let's not forget that bitc0in was birthed when questions were asked of the current financial system following the 2008 crash and adequate answers were not forthcoming. Folks should feel free to ask why of anyone... That's what learning is all about.... That's how issues are sorted... We should endeavour to do that with the right mannerism too |
Mazinewmoney:Setting fixed targets before taking position is an easy way to get rekt. Another is babysitting long term positions. If you don't think it's worth selling, then let the coyn be It has a mcap of 200 million and well distributed across exchanges (though not on coinbaz). We've seen similar capped coins do multiples in a short time. If the market rallies, there's a good chance it could hit 0.4 and even surpass. It's a relatively new coin too which is a good thing. It's connected to axie so I'm wondering why it's been selling off... All said, there's a reason micros are micros. For a coyn like slp, I'd struggle to have even 5% of my portfolio in it... Irrespective of if it pumps or not. |
Ezemarcel:Hehe... Maybe they're tired of micro transfers clogging their system |
skayT:Hmmm..... There are over 10 stable coins and they are not interchangeable.... Also, a particular stable coyn can be transferred on different smartchains and if you mix them up, you might lose your coyns. Finally, when transferring across exchanges, coyns with low transaction fees like xlm, lite, bch, are cheaper. Most stable coyns are built on eith which is expensive to transfer |
angelfallz:On the updated version of the app you can manually input your email while registering |
TheFinance101:Your site and app looks neat... As you know, there's been lots of default from similar good looking platforms of late... Mainly in agrotech... So investors would be more sceptical going forward... Which isn't bad... All said, there's is there a live breakdown on how users funds are invested at any point in time. Also, what insurance is there or regulatory backing to ensure users get their funds? |
skydiver01:If the death penalty for those serious crimes has not been implemented, why do you think a death penalty for less serious crimes would be implemented? To change such laws, it has to go thru the National Assembly, president would sign and law enforcement and others would do their work. In any jurisdiction, it takes years to secure a death penalty. Imagine the courts flooded with trival cases years on end.... I'm trying to be practical here.... To your questions, my initial answe was simple. Those in leadership should start by getting some macroeconomic policies right. The populace should be able to pressurise them on that. We've seen that work with some erroneous CBN policies in the past |
Jerry59:I stake on a number of platforms |
awele186:While I can't vouch for any platform, but if you think binaz is safe enough to keep your tokens, then their staking platforms have thesame safety. Their rates are relatively lower but the outside defi world which offer better rates is still new and risky if you don't know what you're doing |
