To Emeka Ihedioha: Save the peoples money in your custody, Owelle is too much for you. PDP lost Imo the day the committee declared winner. |
Thanks Chris for that wonderful lecture. You don't teach what you don't know. A case of kettle calling pot black. Failure of GEJ as president is more pardonable than your failure as a pastor. |
May God save Nigeria. Let all of us do our bits. GEJ will not do the work of a state governor, LG chairman, Town union president or Traditional ruler. I have my pity on northern Nigeria, where leaders are busy supervising the extermination of their tomorrow in the name of fighting GEJ. |
There is no vacancy in ASO ROCK. Bro Amaechi, go and enjoy your "wealth". You are chosen because of Rivers money in your pocket. By the time you exhaust the money, loose election, prison may be a better option. |
The level of apprehension, anger and frustration is too high in the land. Slightest provocation triggers unimaginable reactions that leave all affected persons losers. Nigeria is a time bomb indeed. May God help us. |
Kudos to NA. But let's be more serious. Let the intelligence and armoury units/departments examine the tank and the APC closely. Get the country of manufacture, the year, the make, date of sale and the buyer. Then track them quietly. We need more intelligence gathering and surveillance now than ever before. Shame to bh and their sponsors. |
Let's not celebrate yet until God reveals 1. BH sponsors 2. Suppliers of their arms, vehicles, food, etc, 3. Their foreign backers, 4. Those whose actions and inactions prolonged the insurgency, and finally their members in government and the military. |
Charly Boys action is condemnable. His action showed utmost disrespect not only to Aboki Rochas Okoroocha but also to the officiating Bishop Kukah. Charly Boy as the first son of the jurist should start displaying majurity and not boyish acts. He had every opportunity to address the audience as the chief mourner and dispel all rumour. |
Nigerians should not bother about defections to APC. PDP will rule NIgeria at least till 2019. APC is made up of strange bed fellows, hence can't withstand the ruling party, no matter the current challenges. GEJ will handover to SE in 2019. no going back on this. |
welcome mr president. concentrate on power, education and health in 2014 and it shall be well all of us. Nigeria is more than any person. |
please let's not loose hope. Nigeria will produce car at 1.2m better than touted. |
It's the height of shamelessness and can only happen in Nigeria. However, we should not lose hope, in the new Nigeria, his likes shall have no place. |
NNPC simply means Nigerian National Portfolio for Corruption. It's fraud incorporated. Remember BUhari saga, etc. May God save Nigeria. |
The Federal Government said it has deposited the N200bn promised as funding to universities into an account with the Central Bank of Nigeria. The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Public Affairs, Dr. Doyin Okupe, and the Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission, Prof. Julius Okojie, confirmed this on Tuesday. The amount is meant for the renewal of infrastructure in public universities in the country. Okupe, who featured on Channels Television programme ‘Sunrise Daily’, said from the government’s perspective, everything that needed to be done had been done. According to him, most of the demands of the Academic Staff Union of Universities have been agreed upon at the 13-hour meeting the union had with President Goodluck Jonathan which ended in the early hours of October 4. He said, “At the end of that meeting, the Government proposed that everything that has been agreed should be put in a memorandum of agreement and that the two parties should sign, but the leadership of ASUU declined and said instead of that, they would rather have a letter of comfort expressing everything that has been resolved therein, and that will suffice for them.” Okupe stressed that the attitude of the ASUU leadership showed that the seed of discord and evidence of bad faith already existed. “It is unfortunate that somebody died but notwithstanding, that cannot be a justification for delaying the implementation of an agreement for 21 or more days,” he said. Also at a press conference in Abuja, Okojie, who also confirmed that the money had been deposited in CBN, said the Coordinating Minister of the Economy and Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, had confirmed to him that the N200bn had been deposited in the Central Bank of Nigeria. With this done, be rest assured, the strike will end soon. |
It baffles me how some lazy people write irrelevant stories with impunity. No university cam conven senate meeting during strike since only profs, HODs, directors and management staff constitute the senate of a university. We must stop deceiving ourselves. |
Mr President, kindly invite them to a tea party, listen to them, reassure them that all you agreed with them at the last meeting will be implemented to the later. If they refuse to call of the strike, commence moves to postcribe ASUU. Heavens will not fall. Thank you for accepting to do this. |
The strike has over stayed its welcome. It is a great insult on the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, that after 13 hours of negotiation, the first in Nigeria, ASUU leadership is dragging its feet, even when majority of the university congresses have voted to suspend the strike, to enable govt implement what they reached at that meeting. Indeed, ASUU leadership has been infiltrated by APC bug and ASUU president, a northerner n may a book haram member, is rubbishing the union. By Monday next week, many more universities will resume since most ASUU members have lost faith in its leadership. |
University of Port Harcourt has directed all students to resume academic activities on Monday 25 Nov.2013. Those who fail will have themselves to blame. |
It baffles me the manner and attitude of most Nairalanders on sensitive issues like our Lord Jesus Christ. People are advised to keep quiet when they have nothing to offer the public than making mockery with the name of Jesus. Please be warned. |
Rochas is not a true catholic indeed. The church helped him to power and so shall he be removed. ABORTION IS MORE THAN FLOGGING A PRIEST THAT REMOVED OHAKIM FROM DOUGLAS HOUSE. The war has just begun.NO ANTICHRIST WILL OCCUPY DOUGLAS HOUSE AGAIN, amen |
I pray other state governments can emulate the continuity in governance being demonstrated. The whole package is a masterpiece. |
The questions were wrong. Ask the least from the result on "EXPLAIN TEN WAYS TO COLLECT MONEY FROM NIGERIANS AND MENTION TWO COMMON SHARING FORMULAE" |
Nigerians need iron handed rulers to move this country forward. They should build more prisons because the statue books are followed religiously and the law courts discharge their duties diligently, at least 100 Nigerians will go jail every day as deterrent. |
CONGRATS T.A.ORJI FOR WAKING UP TOO LATE.I BLAME ABIANS FOR "SELECTING" HIM AS GOVERNOR. ONLY A ROGUE GOVERNOR CONDOLES AND CAJOLES HIS AIDES. THEY ARE ALL INSULTS TO THE IBO NATION. ABIANS MUST LEARN FROM IMOLITES. |
Let the security agents do their job, if they can, but i doubt, since they( security) have been on his pay roll even before going to the senate. |
Can any Bayelsan be bold enough to tell us about her background especially her work history and educational qualifications. However, we must know that the post is political in almost every state in Naija. |
Well done Fr Odiaka. We should start talking about issues in NL and not pettiness. |
It is a pity for Obama. He has reached the end of the road and can no longer go further. Americans will vote him OUT. Nobody dares GOD and survives. Gay marriage is anti-Christ and humanity. America needs prayer for they are drifting very fast into self destruction. |
The DG must be a lazy person who is at a wrong place. He has no work load to attend to, hence he can talk about chieftaincy in 777LGs. He should be sent parking for such statements. |
there is no perfect relationship. As humans, we cant be perfect, for only God is perfect. Who ever claims to be perfect is a liar. To move forward, you MUST at times tolerate one another. |
Make-ups are not necessary. It makes many look like masquerades. I detest heavy make-ups. |
Great feats will continue to come from the SouthEast while others drink ogogoro and kola nuts. |
