Shma: I have a question.
This thing was compiled in 2016. What if in 2017, a country in position 35 discovers a huge mineral resource - fix its unemployment rate, improve immensely on the manufacturing sector, improve on taxation policies - which was not in the picture when projections were done? Will you still maintain your stance on this list because it was projected by white @rs dudes? sorry if you can't debate like a normal person you can sod off my bry take your racism else where |

rvp2018: You're running on empty if all these years you're stuck with one picture. Anyone making 50yr projection is an idiot like you. Let me tell medium term - by 2025/2026 - our economy will be 200B dollars. In that period - South Africa economy - will still be 300-400B dollars - dont start us on GDP PPP Let move long term - 2032 - Kenya GDP will likely be 400B And South Africa - will be stuck at 300-400B.
And if you think these are my maths - these are gov own projections - jump to pg 28 - at worse kenya gov sees growth at 6 percent for the next "enternity" https://www.treasury.go.ke/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Draft-2022-Budget-Policy-Statement_F.pdf where is Kenya?

rvp2018: Our treasury mandrains dont think so. I know you're clutching on that report by some accountant intern at PWC. PWC should concentrate on auditing books- simple maths - not making economic projection. It's simply not their domain. Let them count beans.
As you can see our treasury economist think we will be at 200B dollars (Kshs-dollar staying stable) in 2025/2026.
And RSA treasury projection is you'll be stuck around 350B if not less We all know the kshs will weaken in the next 5 years but regardless, You obviously have no idea who PWC is Fact is you ain't even in the picture by 2050

rvp2018: Algeria is hopeless - a country without any private sector. Kenya will zoom past it. Their economy has tanked from 180B dollars to 140B dollars 0 now 160B. Kenya has a vibrant private and domestic economy. Nigeria is a zoo. The South Africans are busy waiting for us to overtake them in 10yrs. They cannot move forward. They are stuck. you ain't overtaking us anytime soon

Sizzorkay: So you are going to pretend not to see the intentional diss of SA military in those posts? c'mon now. People living in a country on the brink of collapse shouldn't be pointing fingers and dissing others. Nigeria has its own problems, better you guys utilize your time and focus on that, instead of these childish, nonsensical posts about SA. amen... The strongest military thread still exists!! If people want to Diss and d1ck measure they can go there |

Covert1: Someone has been let out of the pen. Last I checked this is an African military thread. It is somewhat convenient for you and your ilk to sing hullabaloo when all evidence points to the contrary, this platform therefore becomes veritable to not only disprove but fact check. I have no obsession whatsoever other than objective discourse for the good of Africa. Jealousy is a stretch because Nigeria is the only real hegemon in Africa therefore South Africa does not exist in mind as any more than an important African country we need to do well.
Instead of dissipating your energy arguing blindly use it to agitate for the SANDF to be restored to a fighting machine rather than cheerleaders at every national show deceiving and being deceived. Funding is not an excuse. We have heard that diatribe for too long. It all boils down to inept command leadership from the start. You went shopping for shiny toys you couldn't maintain against the advice of all and sundry both in Africa and beyond telling you South Africa has no external threat whatsoever from any country after Apartheid.
Even your own intelligentsia in South Africa concurs with my submissions. Until you tell yourselves the truth you will only exist on paper. How can you even still argue with a straight face and no shame. You have only 3 hawks, 4 AHs and 1 warship right now to defend South Africa and you are still here ranting.
You think we expected you to deploy anything reasonable in Mozambique, no! We knew you can't deploy what you don't have. The Brass would have told Ramaphosa doing so means no AHs or fast jets even if subsonic to defend the land in an emergency. The 3 hawks you flew at your State of the Union are the only air air-worthy fighter aircrafts you have, what a shame for a once proud force and you think it makes anyone happy. While national pride makes everyone want to be the best we in Nigeria acknowledge our potential and natural rights of leadership in Africa but we need partners and in Africa countries like yours need to step up their game to face common threats. as always your obsession with SA makes you totally miss the point of my post entirely.....but carry on bro even with our problems I know for a fact we are better of than a certain country I shan't mentione |
