So today is my birthday. Congratulations to me.

Few things has happened in the past. Previously, we were two Nigerians, but currently, I am the only Nigerian or say African in my class. Something good happened and my classmate left for good. I am now a lone ranger, but a committed one.

The prevalence of the recent pandemic-Covid19 has again raised a lot of questions in the mind of people, a big issue in the hearts and heads of conspiracy theorists. Whatever, you view about it is, one thing is sure, it is real and it kills. So guys, stay safe and always protect yourself. Do not propagate fake news or rumors about it as it could trigger panic. Also, remember our population is an ignorant one.

A lot of things has been cancelled, infact, unlike Nigeria that when a health minister gives information about Covid19, and Obasanjo says otherwise and people would believe Obasanjo more than the health ministers, the French people follow scientific recommendations and government directives. Ever since the outbreak, we have been informed through all means on how to protect ourselves. Wearing gloves doesn't solve the problem except you work in the hospital. We have been informed to always wash our hands, stay away (for now) from public gatherings, and do not visit the elderly (in other not to infect them). Follow same process too guys. We care so much about you guys and we want you all hale and hearty.

The world is actually not as big as we think. It's spreading.

I have got some nuclear stories, I will share them soon. Happy birthday to me.

Just get the scholarship first. It's the easiest for now (getting the scholarship). Except you are a UK scholar, getting admission is very difficult and competitive in the school PTDF will send you to.

Sometimes, you will even have to change course to something entirely new or even unrelated to PTDF. From experience, getting the scholarship is the easiest of all the process .

Life just keeps throwing such hard punches and even when you are completely down, it doesn’t stop. It just keeps coming.

About a week ago I lost the little job I was managing and one week later after waiting for APL for 7 months, I also didn’t get. I prayed, I fasted, I sowed. I was certain this was it. My heart is completely shattered. I’m jobless, homeless, lost. I don’t know what to do or where to start from.

I just turned 24. What do I do? Where do I really start from? How do I do it? Dear God your little girl is lost!

I still believe Jarus and Dawani's source and here's why:

My dad called me yesterday morning and asked me to to check the NNPC career portal. I did and revert back to him telling him there was no change, but I was curious and asked him why?

He said he met a PA to petroleum minister at the burial ceremony of a former ED of NNPC and the PA told him that APL was scheduled to be out within last week and this week so he wanted me to check if I was successful.

I told him it's not out yet (didn't tell him I had already gotten the info from our trusted Jarus) but hopefully this week.

So from my point of view, if leaking a time line for the release of APL will cause so much raucous as to significantly change its expected date, the PA will be in the know.

I can conclusively tell you ladies and gentlemen that the wait is over! May we all have reason to smile by the end of the week.

Another thing I forgot to add is she said that given the amount of publicity the recruitment has faced of recent, the comprehensive list (FOR GT'S ONLY) would probably be published in a National daily FIRST, immediately before notifications are sent in order to display the veracity of its federal character. AND also that the recruitment is NOT hinging on any court case, that the NNPC committee set up to oversee the recruitment is bent on settling the matter out of court, series of meetings have been held with the lawyer in question and his lawyer...

Like I said, I got the information and I relayed it. But it failed just like every other information we have had in the past. Even the credible ones have failed.

We have to demand answers from NNPC now.

This is why I am saying we should go to Twitter and voice out our expectations for a meaningful conclusion of the process.

We are using the #2019NNPCRecruitment hashtag.

Did u ask me for the first info before I dropped it here? Why do I have to be cajoled to speak becos I have spoken before, even when there's no update to give... So u expect me to be knocking on my oga's door every other minute becos of nairalanders? Really?! So he could conclude I'm that desperate to leave my current job? Or you think u guys on this forum are the most in need of this job.. Let me tell you one thing about my boss' nephew whom also applied for the GT, the parents ( my boss' elder brother) are fuxking rich, and plan on sending him abroad next year to settle down, but they would prefer he got the NNPC job cos that's the only federal job they can allow him to stay in Naija for., but their money can't get this NNPC job for him,.. they want this recruitment to come to an end so that they can know the way forward, coz he passed his visa interview few months back.. they are on the backs of my boss everyday asking for info, and dats why my boss too is on top of the matter Coz it's his elder brother.. If any info comes he will be the first to know coz he now has someone der,.. Someone whom he sent 10k for recharge card on Thursday last week, so she can be calling him for info..if the parents of Rick kids are this desperate for this job, then . Pls u guys should mind the way you mention my moniker unnecessarily.. If I have an update, I give, if not, don't push me... Respect...
