This is why Nigeria can hardly change for good. Some senseless Nigerians would defend corrupt leaders on account of tribe, religion etc. Some also take bribes from such unscrupulous leaders and defend them just like this amorphous group is doing.

That's how our ladies keep deceiving themselves and refuse to get married only to wake up when it's too late. That time they'll start looking for whom to vent their frustrations on.

The most annoying part is that they'll start blaming those guys they rejected for some playboys. Of course, the playboys are usually too hot for them to blame, so all the frustrations are directed at the innocent guys who professed genuine love to them but got rejected.

I have one of such 'hanties' on my case at the moment. All the years she was still young and fresh, she kept doing shakara for me. But now, na she dey form wife material for me. No wahala, I go follow am play the game. I go chop am well, but she no go ever see even my glorious 3rd leg. I go help am waist her time now just like the other guys did.

Well, it is why I have this thread: https://www.nairaland.com/6643241/nigerian-men-failed-women and this one:https://www.nairaland.com/7684230/how-reduce-hook-ups-nigeria

Hookup cannot be eradicated but can be reduced when there is prosperity. People will mention children of the rich who enter the industry, but that is an exception, not the norm. I cannot blame our women for selling their bodies amidst the economic crises in the country. That is how it has been globally ab initio. Then again, even in prosperous societies, hookup still exists. E get one website I saw where one could book babes. Starting rates were about $200 - $400. Even in the UK, I have seen our women charging rates ranging from £150 - £400 for short time. So, hookup will always exist. I have broken it down even to scientific publications.

The bold is not true. Nigerian women/ladies who japa'd to the UK will disagree. If Nigerian men don't want their women to do hookup, they should create a prosperous society for their women to thrive. I read on another thread where a woman got money from Keke hustle to cultivate soybeans only for Fulani herdsmen to raze her entire farmland. The first question I had in mind was: where are/were the men in that community? What are they doing to curtail the demonic antics of Fulani herdsmen? If tomorrow that woman goes into hookup, I cannot criticise her. If she were in Ghana, such would not happen.

The solution dey Nigerian men hand.

P.S. No developed/prosperous society had women at the forefront of development or prosperity.
Stop this rubbish you always spew here!

So, those women who are engaged in other profitable ventures and succeeding in them are not Nigerian women Why must you blame men for the failure of some women to do things right

So armed robbers, kidnappers, fraudsters etc are also justified in choosing such means of livelihood, because many of them have cited failure on the parts of politicians as reasons for engaging in such activities

Men like you are the reason women blame men for everything. Even when they have menstrual pains, they blame men for it.

Some guys are just too emotional and I wouldn't blame them for that. That's how they're made by nature. We have a variety of humans with their uniqueness in this world.

So, I wouldn't blame the guy. It is left for the lady to consider what he did wrong and see if she can forgive him or not.

What do I know, maybe I am just old fashioned !
Nonsense talk.

Me I like kissing like kilode. That's where the passion lies during lovemaking. You use your mouth to show your partner how much of her you desire.

Family / Re: Akure Magistrate Judge Condemns Igbo Custom On Fatherhood by Jman06(m): 8:20pm On Jan 12
Sctests:
If you impregnate an Igbo girl without doing the marital rites and paying the bride price. That child DOES NOT belong to you. You are just a SPERM DONOR. The child belongs to the man who is responsible and values the woman enough to pay the bride price.

God save you if that lady dies during childbirth, then you will visit hell and back, because you must pay that price and 'marry' her corpse befittingly before she is lowered into earth. Else you won't sleep when the whole village send their deity after you. YOU KILLED HER. Who wants to go to the spirit world with shame? An Igbo daughter?

The Akure judge should concentrate on stopping Royal cannibalism that is customary to yoruba people.

It is common knowledge that when a king, Alaafin, Ooni, Oba or Baale dies in yorubaland, it is customary for the succeeding monarch to eat the heart (cardiac muscle) of the dead king uncooked. Ask any honest yoruba traditionalist. In fact type 'yoruba royal cannibalism" in Google and research it.

More so, after the death of a yoruba king, human sacrifices are made and head hunters are sent out in the dead of the night to hunt for human head as part of their Oro practice before the late king is buried.

Let the Akure Judge face these barbaric customs of his people and stop meddling in a foreign custom that is older than his 10th great-grandfather and ancestors.
He can't win. Let him remove the wool in his own people's eyes first..

He can't dare go to the muslim North and try to stop them from marrying 10-year old girls, without his head being cut off from his shoulder with matchetes, but he wants to flex judicial muscles here in the South.

The Igbos are not your plaything. Respect their customs and stop meddling in their traditional affairs.

Don't you know that once it is about Igbos, southern lawyers find their voices?? But they're all afraid to question the barbaric acts being perpetuated in the north!

Other professionals might feel marginalized and will definitely impact their commitment to duty.
You don't need to pamper some at the expense of others as that is what led to different uprising/insurgency all over Nigeria.
He should have make it all inclusive and limit it to professionals at a specified cadre across board.
Honestly! The marginalization in the health sector is just too much!

Some people like Nwifuru don't understand that healthcare is a team work, and that all the professionals in sector must work in synergy to achieve a holistic healthcare.

The Nigerian medical doctors would rather constitute themselves as clogs in the wheels of progress of other health professionals and this is why our health sector is one of poorest in the world.
Religion / Re: Aba Church members welcoming pastor in Grand military style by Jman06(m): 3:42pm On Jan 06
Christianity is dying today while paganism is becoming the order of the day, no thanks to pastors who have made themselves demigods to be worshipped by their members instead of worshipping the Almighty God.

Self-worship by those on the pulpits results in self-worship by the congregation, and consequence is that selfishness (satanism) becomes the order of the day thus paving the way for paganism.

My gut instinct tells me you're actually a Nigerian lady, else you wouldn't refer to fellow SA women in such derogatory terms.

Meanwhile, we know why we sometimes bash our women hoping they could actually change and become better for all of us. It's not really that we hate them nor could we pick foreigners over them. It's just like a typical Nigerian father would want his sons to be better by pointing them to their peers.

If you want to know if Nigerian men hate their ladies organize a contest for ladies from SA and Nigeria, requiring Nigerian men to pick a wife from the mix of ladies. Maybe then you'll realize it's just a cruise people are doing here

Omotola didn't got pregnant before marriage. She was married in proper way, pursued her education and career before childbirth. Only foolish men like you go about sleeping with teen girls without CD. Even if you don't have parents as a teen girl, getting married at that age should be the least of your worries. Even if at the end, marriage is the only means for you then the man you're getting married to should worth it. A man like Omotola husband. A man that would not have sex with you before marriage. A marriage that'd be so much engrossed in your career. A man that'd push you to your limelight. A man that'd support you. A man that love you deeply. Not a pervert looking for intimacy gadget

How many Nigerian men fit into that category biko? How many Nigerian men get sense like Omotola husband? You're just after teens girls getting married but not concerned about who they're getting married to

If i don't have 16 yrs old teen girls in my payroll, then i should admonished or encourage them to consider marriage and get pregnant? To same calibre of Nigerian Men we have in this generation?

Omotola Ekehinde Jolade got married at 18 to a successful young pilot man, responsible and love her genuinely. If you're talking about these calibre of men with a written agreement before the marriage then it's a little bit fair. If otherwise, then you're a failure looking for company
Full!

And did an 1mbecile like you manage to the person responsible for the girl's pregnancy or even if she's already married to the man

If not that you're a fullllllll from a generation of fulllllls, you would have taken the possible circumstances surrounding the girl's pregnancy and why she's obviously happy with her reality into consideration before coming on here to type jargon.

Oh, so Omotola can be excused for marrying early while the girl in question should not, even when fulllllls like you do not know the circumstances around her pregnancy?

This how your type go about deceiving helpless young girls without providing any help to them until they end up in brothels for prost1tut1on.
