Romance › Re: What Your Take On Young Ladies Buying Condoms In Supermarkets by Jman06(m): 4:43am On Jul 24, 2014
Fostercat: Bros forget. We all know that most young ladies indulge in pre marital sex. But they do not need to come tell the whole world. It means nothing wen it's other ladies or other persons sisters. Will you give ur younger sister whose age is btw18 & 20 who is not married a hand shake wen you walk into a supermarket nd see in her paying for a condom nd she tells you see you later, I need to go Bleep? Of course you may know she Bleep, but seeing her buying a condom in a supermarket? ?
You are reasoning like a cave man! What's wrong in buying a condom? Blaody hypocrite!sad. I'm pissed up when people pokenose into what's none of their business. Rubbish!sad

uzolexis: Fellow Nigerians what should we do about Northern Nigeriahuh
Those guys up north need emancipation from mental slavery. I mean, they need WESTERN EDUCATION not even Islamic education. An average northerner needs a mind of his/her own, that would mark the beginning of their liberation from poverty.

Maonyz: When I hear how some people reason, I tremble, cry and finally kneel down and thank my God for the kind of man am married to! What wld I have done if I married someone like this posterhuh
U obviously married a wussy who does all your whims and caprices.

SeaGold: Present his brother? The next six month the brother will be like: "senior bro, I have arrived I want to take a wife''. And when he marries, it all end cos wify will constantly reminds him that building their home so pass while his magnanimous elder brother wrangle in penury
This is not true. I know many families where only one of many brothers is carrying the rest, including their families and despite having his own nuclear family. So, that sentiment about op's brother getting married and the wife stopping him from helping his brother does not hold water.
Family › Re: 9-year-old Boy Renews Marital Vows With His 62 Year Old Wifey by Jman06(m):
And the feminists will not see anythn wrong with this! Corrupting the mind of an innocent child. If the story had been that a 60+ old man married a 9 yr old girl for whatever reason, hell would have been let loose.
Romance › Re: . by Jman06(m): 7:08am On Jul 19, 2014
That is why it is not proper to send a boy and a girl to a competition where men are the umpires. The result is always biased in favor of the girl. This is happening even in our labor market. @Op, you are on point and I'm even guilty of some the points but definitely not all, cos i don't yab a fellow guy because of a girl neither do i post crap because i wanna please any girl.

Family › Re: Sister Or Husband, Who Should She Pick by Jman06(m): 6:31pm On Jul 18, 2014
tpia1: it has?
Yes! They'd rather spend their money on their parental homes or recommend their sisters for a job than their husbands, since the man has to be a REAL MAN by working hard to provide for his family.
Family › Re: My Brother Or My Wife, Who Should I Pick? by Jman06(m): 4:36pm On Jul 18, 2014
ferhyntorlah: comprehension is really a BIG issue. What's selfish in wanting the brother to chart his life course? It's time for the brother to chart the course of his life; let the man recommend his brother. That way, he can be INDEPENDENT and STOP relying on his big brother. Jman06, the bebe scout!
ok, we are on d same page. I actually thought of what ur initial comment meant but then i had already posted my quote.

Pick your sister. No prob because that has always been the norm among Nigerian wives.
Family › Re: My Brother Or My Wife, Who Should I Pick? by Jman06(m): 5:17pm On Jul 17, 2014
In the labor market, ladies have better chances of getting jobs than guys. The reason is not that they are more intelligent that guys, but because in most cases, they gain undue favor from male employers. What i mean is that a lady can easily dress up and walk into an organization and she'll be attended to, but if a guy does that, chances are higher that he would be bounced back. What I'm trying to say is that ur friend should present his brother for the job because it'll be easier to find another job for his wife than his brother.
Family › Re: My Brother Or My Wife, Who Should I Pick? by Jman06(m): 4:54pm On Jul 17, 2014
ferhyntorlah: It's time for the brother to chart the course of his life.
And the wife cannot chart the course of her own life? Women and their selfishness! @Op, i still maintain that the brother will be better suited for the job. Let him that has ears hear!
Family › Re: My Brother Or My Wife, Who Should I Pick? by Jman06(m): 9:23pm On Jul 16, 2014
@Op, please and please tell your friend to recommend his BROTHER for the job. That's d wisest decision to make in this case. His wife might get the job and use her money only for her parental home while expecting her hobby to still be 'breadwinner' of the house regardless of who earns more (like we 've read many women say here on this forum), but his brother will never forget him and his family when d chips are down, considering that they have been through thick and thin together. A word is enough for the wise.

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Nigerian Army DSSC and SSC 2014 Aspirants by Jman06(m): 11:21am On Jul 16, 2014
The Nigerian army should know that any mistake they make in this recruitment exercise will further worsen their fight against insurgency. They should recruit on merit and pay no attention to politicians and their lists, afterall they are the ones that every body would blame if they fail. It's only the unfit candidates that would be looking for undue advantage through politicians. No wonder our armed forces have been clogged by unfit elements since time immemorial.
Family › Re: Is There Anything Wrong With Bein A House Husband by Jman06(m): 9:56am On Jul 16, 2014
There's everything wrong with that. Men should provide for their family while women should be loyal to their men and take care of the home front. That's how nature has made it and no side should try to take on the other's roles. WHAT A MAN CAN DO A WOMAN SHOULD NEVER DO AND VICE VERSA.

uplawal: Now i know the origin of woman slavery is from the bible,if you go to some parts of Africa,Zimbabwe, uganda, south africa etc and eastern parts of Nigeria, women do farming like slaves and most of their men stay at home drinking.
Come, did i hear you say eastern part of Nigeria?! You are a conscienceless lair! Igbo men are the ones that slave for their women more than any other part of Nigeria. Get some education before u come here to type what you don't know.
Romance › Re: He Is 25, In Love With Two 14-year-old Girls, must he be regarded a paedophile? by Jman06(m): 8:18am On Jul 16, 2014
khiaa: #1 A full grown mature woman not a child.

#2 A grown adult who is sexually attracted to children.

#3 I do not admire children in a sexual manner, there is nothing sexually appealing in a child to me because I am not a paedophile.

#4 It's a damn shame, some people should be stoned to death, we have to protect the children from these MONSTERS.

#5 I believe the paedophile is YOU.

#6 Paedophiles are sick bast.ards preying on innocent children. I have seen the damage that these punk bitshes have caused children mentally and physically. I hate them with a passion.

#7 Paedophiles are very deceitful, manipulative, cunning people, don't ever trust them around your babies, they will smile in your face while thinking of a way to get your child alone.

#8 Paedophiles do not love ANYONE, their only goal is to destroy young lives.

#9- 9 times out of 10 paedophiles chooses a profession that involves children.

#10 Nothing gets my blood boiling like child abuse.
A 14yrs old is no longer a baby. Though I'll advise the op not to have anything s,exual with her until she's through with sec school perhaps in a year or two time, but within this period he should show her all the love and let her know that he has interest in marrying her. Many instances abound of women who got married at that age and had successful marriages.

Oahray: to each one his own. Choose for yourself what you want as long as your partner wants the same. It's not mine to choose for the world.

Don't ever call me sweetie again angry
lol @don't ever call me sweetie again. Like i care?! See, i only use that word 'sweetie' in a sarcastic way on nairaland. So, don't even start giving yourself false hope over something that can never be yours.8-)
Family › Re: What's Happening To Our Men? by Jman06(m): 11:37am On Jul 10, 2014
Oahray: the woman's rightful place isn't in the kitchen. It's good she works too. However psychological and even physiological differences between men and women, make women better suited to care giving in the family.

Men's traditional role (I'm not talking African culture, but the human race as a whole) as head of the family makes them the default breadwinners. But that is changing, and so must everything related.

Conflicts arise when two members try to assume the same role. It's a given.

The world is changing, let's see where it takes us to. The alarming number of single parent families is just a tip of the scary iceberg.
It's good she works too? And then use her earnings for what? See, let's shun double standards and find a lasting solution to this confusion which our marriage institution in Africa has been drawn into by western influences. Now, let me propose two solutions and leave you to choose between them: 1. That all our girls should be withdrawn from school while only boys should be allowed to go to school. Also, all our women in paid employments be denied their jobs and be sent back to the 'kitchen' where they can only engage in petty trading(if they so wish), while our teaming unemployed young men be given their jobs. And women should derive joy from their roles in the 'kitchen' and not start trying to copy the west. And that any woman who tries to take up a paid job outside petty trading should be jailed for life while the same treatment should be meted out on any man who fails to provide for his family. 2. Let's continue in our new found order where women and men are given equal opportunity in all human endeavors while marriage becomes a partnership whereby both men and women are equal partners and make equal contribution in running the affairs of the family, without any grumbling from either side. And that the bills paid to contract such marriages should be shared equally between the partners. And that under such marriages, women should forever stop complaining that men are no longer their old selves, while men should stop lamenting that women no longer take full responsibility of the 'kitchen', and any partner who asks for extra pecks aside this new arrangement should be jailed for life. So sweetie, can you choose from the above conditions?8-)
Family › Re: What's Happening To Our Men? by Jman06(m): 9:33am On Jul 10, 2014
delishpot: And what is wrong with that?
There's nothing wrong with that so long as the woman takes her rightful place in the kitchen and remains at the man's beck and call in the bedroom. Conflicts will only arise when the woman tries to be 'equal' with the man but refuses to brace up with the responsibilities of being an 'equal'. No room for double standards. Hope you agree with that?
