Good afternoon Everyone, I'm a silent reader here. I just got a request from IRCC to submit my passport. A big thanks to everyone and most especially Zubizareta for his help in regards to my SOP writtings and review.

Please I really need your help/Opinions about this. My 10yrs biometric is expiring June/July 2024 and my program is valid for two years study. And I have been asked to submit my passport to complete my application, my thoughts is that I don't know if I will still be giving the two years study visa since my Biometric will be expiring June/July 2024. If otherwise please what can I do to tackle this.

Hello, this is quite complicated agents should allow applicants to fill out their ircc form while they check the form for errors before validating and signing. My advice will be for him to reach out to the agent requesting his submitted IRCC forms, but if the agent is not complying then he can go ahead to apply with his current and correct information there is any contrary detail IRCC might send a PFL for him to address the issue in this way he can explain because the applicant can't be stuck. If you use an agent are you the one receiving message from IRCC? if yes then you will get the notices if there is an update but in absence of that i suggest you wait and prepare for deferment because you can't meet up

Did biometric July 3rd and since then no update . School resumes September 18. Although I used an agent and he keeps saying no update yet . What can be done ? Kindly assist with any suggestions🙏🏾

He should show a statement of the account receipt and invoice of transactions and also in the sponsorship letter state the amount he has set aside to sponsor your temporary stay.

No it will not be an issue, their traveling document will still be valid but you need to come up with a convincing story incase you are ask at POE

Hello, have they decided on the route to use? this thread is for the study route only. If they decide to use the study route then the first thing to do is apply to schools to get admission before the study permit

The sponsor closing balance is not for you, the amount which you state your sponsor will be using to sponsor, that is what you should add to whatever you have. except you are telling the VO that your sponsor is using the entire money in his account to sponsor you which is a red flag

WES icap that is the evaluation you should do, it will cost that figure you mentioned. If you want them to send to any school within the US. you will have to pay for the delivery/post fee

I googled and it said a WES course-by-course evaluation cost $163, and a document-by-document evaluation costs $102.

Does that make it total of $265 ? I’m applying to US school for PhD. Do I use the two evaluations or just one? For a standard US school? Or would it be my school that will say which one they want?

Yes, it is possible there are two types of admission schools Conditional and non-conditional admission. It will be stated in your LOA, that colleges give conditional admission while for Universities it is left for the team to decide on that. But if you still want to make a payment you can go ahead with it

Yes, you are safe It simply means your application has been stayed too long hence they need an updated statement with this current exchange rate, to check if you have a sufficient amount. Just make sure the amount in that account is more than the initial amount.
