Please I submitted my application on Jul 19, did upfront Medical, and completed biometrics on the 24th Jul. Till now I've not gotten any updates on my study permit application. My school is resuming by September 6. Should I be worried? What step should I take ?

Don't try that, the question is how much do you have in your acct? what is the cost of your tuition fee, duration of your program, are you going with dependent and what province these questions will help to determine the money you should have in your acct for it to be sufficient for your stay in Canada.

I used my account statement earlier and I observed from my CBSA notes that the VO mentioned that I had low to moderate transactions as the reason for refusal. I would like to ask, can I put all my money in fixed deposit and use the certificate to re-apply?

It might take 1 month and you can't do anything to make it faster, pls wait

Some schools don't give updated LOA, let him contact the school to request for that, their reply will let you know what to do

Pls my brother gained admission in a university in Canada. The start date on his admission letter is May 2023 but he's preparing to join by Jan 2024. On the letter, the sch has also indicated that he can resume either by May or Sept 2023 or Jan 2024. My question now is should he request another admission letter from the school that'll show Jan 2024 start date or he can present the one currently with him which has May 2023 start date at the embassy.

You can't book through IOM website kindly sent an email to them with your proposed date they will respond with the nearest date. you need to wait for a response within 5 business days

All document should be in Canadian official language, if otherwise then you must translate it to their official language

my sponsor is a Catholic clergyman. His letter of ministerial work is from ROME and it’s written in LATIN Language. I intend to submit his bank statement, sponsorship letter and his work letter as POF

Please is it advisable to submit the Work letter with such language or is there a way to change it into English language? Also I heard that you can’t use normal translators and that it must be immigration approved translators which I have no idea about.

Good afternoon, you can use your gtb acct because your new salary acct doesn't meet the requirement explain in your SOP about the change in salary account by your company and attach the salary alert of 4-6months from gtb and the 2 months from the new bank as evidence and you can also attach the lump sum transaction alert too since both bank is in your name. Mind you each month you might be doing that transfer to your gtb. Or you wait to build up the new acct, as for the 5M do a gift deed for it

Some are agent of darkness, why will you forge cert as an agent despite the client submit is original cert to you as an agent you should make sure the client submit original cert and preview it for error(s) before submission.

If you know you used agent for your application, approved or not order advanced gcsm note to know what the documents agent actually submitted. Some agents go as far as ignoring original documents submitted by the applicant, they even forge degree certificates. Many people won’t know until they apply for PR n get ban for misinterpretation. If you used agent go n order asap.

Good afternoon, My wife is an F1 student in the US she curently pregnant. The state shes in says that they have a charity organisation that help pregnant F1 students pay their martneity bill. she aksed them if it's medicaid they said no that the charity is just for a year.
My question is ?
1, I hope this will not affect me when i apply for an F2 visa.
2, Will it be in her records that she gave birth in the US using a charity organisation, though she asked them this particular question and they said they don't send any information to immgration
3, Can i apply for an F1 visa instead of an f2 so i wont have any trace that i''m related to her incase its a probelm that she deliverd with the help of a charity Organisation.
4, She stated she was married in her DS160 form with my name as her husband.
5, Will they find out if i apply for an F1 and state in my DS160 that i dont know anyone in the US.

It is possible but you need to display an excellent skill, find a project supervisor that is willing to work with you, try to have a publication

What are the chances of directly getting into a Ph.D program with just an undergraduate degree in a non-stem field in the US please? I have researched some universities that allow this, however, I’d like to know if there are people that have been successful with this in our midst here or do you advice I go for just masters? I really want to get IN but then I very need funding that comes with P.hD’s which is mainly the motivation for the pursuit of a direct Ph.D.

Note, this undergraduate degree is from a UK university with a potential second class upper grade (2:1).

I got my ppr on Thursday, so I have to book an appointment for passport submission at vfs, but nearest date for the appointment is on the 21st of this same month. But one of my friend said I don’t need to book an appointment that I should just go to vfs office with some necessary documentation and submit it. I don’t know if this can work out, because my resumption is early September, and from my house to vfs office is not up 30 minutes drive……..

If you have your biometric letter you can go ahead to book your appointment and get it done

Don't submit document that can not be accessed, the type of statement does not matter just make sure it is genuine, readable and the money is in the account

You can't do that from Nigeria you need to enter Canada register as a student in University of Manitoba, then before you can initiate the change to a DLI, but you will still inform IRCC about the change of institution.

We got Generic Refusal Letter today shortly after BVL. This is the quoted reason

"• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by paragraph R216(1)(b) of the IRPR (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/sor-2002-227/section-216.html). I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will leave Canada, based on the following factors:
• Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel for yourself (and any accompanying family member(s), if applicable)."

Total funds needed for the TWO years MSc is 60,000 CAD equivalent to about 35Million at exchange rate of 580 Naira to 1 CAD.

We used spouse's Account with Opening Balance of 8M and closing of 16.5M and an Investment Certificate of 20M and Accompanying Reference letter to IRCC.

From the officer's response, what can we do better as we intend to RE-APPLY almost immediately.
