Persecution is a promise for every believer. It’s necessary for your promotion and will come at different levels in your life. It’s what makes you different from others and separates you from the crowd. Persecution is the harsh treatment from others to compel you to comply to their own way of doing things. As a Christian who lives by God’s Word, you’ll surely be persecuted. The Master confirmed this in John 15:20:

Everyone who wants to be like Jesus must be ready to receive persecutions like He did. But the beautiful thing about it is, as you remain standing on God’s Word, irrespective of the persecutions that come your way, the Lord Himself will honour you. Jesus knew we would encounter problems and challenges in this world, but He confirmed that as we remain in Him, we would live a life of peace even in the face of adversity:

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulations: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).

You may wonder why God left us in this world of trials and temptations, or want to know why He allows trials to come our way in life. Well, the truth is God doesn’t mind trials or temptations coming your way since He knows He’s already made you more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37). 1 John 4:4 says,

“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”

You should expect persecution and never be afraid of it; believe in it, it’s important. The measure of persecution that you face is the measure of training that you have. Irrespective of the diverse tests, persecutions or trials that you might face this year, rejoice; for they’ll be bread for you! All such contrary winds will only drive your roots deeper in God.

The rapture of the church takes place before the tribulation . And the second coming of Christ to the earth for the Jews takes place 7 years after the rapture. Many false pastors preach this message to catch gullible people and christians with a faulty faith. Truth is we are mortals and only immortals are incapable of falling sick. Poverty is not a spiritual problem rather it is social else we might then conclude that all poor people are cursed. Common sense teaches us that hard work and industry will overcome poverty whereas laziness and idleness leads to poverty. Poor hygiene and genetic disorders cause diseases so stop putting God to the test by refusing treatment all in the name of being cured - I have not said miracles don't happen.

If Christians have no business with poverty and sickness what about unbelievers who are rich and healthy? Did God permit them against the wish of other christians who fall sick often or are poor?

Let's leave all these arithmetic . One thing us clear. The first belong to God , the tenth belong to God. Why tenth ,why not 11th or 12th only God can say.

The point is. When we tithe,we are not doing it because the law says so. It's because it's a spiritual principle. And it works for those who believe in it. There are spritual pronciples under the law. When we do them its not because the law say so. Its because the are spiritual principles. For example I give to the poor regularly on personal basis apart from the ones we do cooperately , but I do it because it's a spiritual principle to help others not because the law commanded it. I help stranded strangers ,not because the law commanded it. It's a principle. Abraham met God in his bid to help strangers. But unknowingly to him. The stranger was God.

Lot also brought angels into his house because he thought they were stranded individuals. When you find fathers of faith operate in divine secrets like this ,we don't need a law to make us do it

There's nothing to do about it from my point of view. Except to admonish him. If he is on wanted list, he will have better pardon turning himself in. But if he doesn't turn himself in,he will definitely be caught one day and the end will be bad.
If he want to take his chance it's left to him in my own opinion. If he is genuinely born again I don't think the its right for church to betray him . They should rather counsel him to do and ge him to see reason for turning himself in. Genuine repentance will listen.

The church still hands some of them over to police but not for prosecution. Its to submit their weapons and other things. That's for self confessed. Riminals, But someone who is on "WANTED " list . That's the truth. The tithe is the smallest of all our givings. People give lands houses cars , empty accounts etc. the only reason Satan can have issue with the tenth is because there's something spiritualt about it.

The old lifestyle, old ways of thinking and doing things have been supplanted. People may still call or address you by the same name with which they knew you prior to your rebirth; they may call you a smoker, a drunk, a liar or any other name; it makes no difference. The Bible says,

. . . “And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God” (1 Corinthians 6:11).

Notice it didn’t say “and such are some of you…” rather it says “…and such were some of you,” because now that you’re in Christ you’ve been cleansed of all unrighteousness. You’ve been separated from sin unto God, and declared righteous, in the Name of the Lord, and by the Spirit of our God! The blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, has purged your conscience from dead works to serve the living God (Hebrews 9:14).

God wants you to recognize your new identity – see the picture of the new you and live that way. You don’t know what you really look like until you look into the mirror of God – His Word. It’s the mirror that shows your real picture in Christ Jesus. It shows that old life with which you were born by your parents doesn’t matter now, for things have changed! You’re now a new creation. Your conduct as a Christian must now reflect your new personality in Christ Jesus – your new nature, which is the nature of righteousness.

Confession

Well I don't really know who you are or what you believe. It's not God you blame but the hardness of his people . He had warned them of all these consequences . They killed his prophets . Even when Jesus was sent as thier last messiah they killed him and damned the consequences.

When israel was declared a nation in 1948. It took the world by surprise . Because the name of Israel had been wiped off the map of the world according to prophecy of the bible.They had changed the name of the land to Palestine .for about 2000 years,Israel had ceased to be a nation

Even theologians had given up on israel , but when it happened ,historians couldnt believe their ears. Israel had been scattered all over the earth. Not only that, they were been slaughtered in many nation. Hitler killed millions of them .The name of their land had been changed to Palestine by the ottoman empire,and they brought Arabs to occupy that land. They had no more homeland .there was no way Israel could exist again. But in 1948 , the prophecy came to pass. It was never done in history that a nation who's name had been wiped off resurrects again.

The bible had predicted that God would scatter them if they remain stubborn . They did and he did. By AD 70 . The Romans invaded and destroyed Israel. After that several nations came and did their own destruction. Until the name was removed from world map. After much suffering by many of them in several nations even though some prospered earlier. They began to return to their homeland who's name had been changed to Palestine land .

How did this happen
After the defeat of Hitler's Third Reich the United Nations in November 1947 passed the "Resolution For the Partition of Palestine," granting a portion to the Jews, a portion to the Arabs, and internationalizing Jerusalem. The Arabs rejected the plan. The Jews did not like the plan but accepted it, believing 'half a loaf to be better than none.

Although they may not know it, the nations jointly agreed. By doing so, have set themselves on a collision course with  the prophecy of the bible in Joel

Some of these parted land  were miraculously recovered from  Egypt Jordan Judea and Samaria as well as east Jerusalem containing the Temple Mount.  When the arab gathered to fight the small returnees of Israel so that they could finally eliminate them ,The world was watching but couldnt do anything to save israel. Israel only fought to defend themselves and miraculously they did without help. Not only did they survive, miraculously also they recovered some of the parted land from the Arabs . It was then the world moved in for peace and demanded that israel should returned some of the land conquered . But they are yet to have full claim of Jerusalem now. That is the present conflict they face now.

Isaiah 66:8
8 Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? [or] shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.

The war was not just between germany and russia or the allied forces . The spirituality of the war had to do with israel . If the war had not taken place ,they would not have returned to their land and Israel would not have become a nation as predicted.

So long as a man is born again, he can share his faith. But his impact will be limited. You can't be an effective minister without equipment. It's like cutting a tree with blunt axe. There are times you meet oppositions evn worse than Nairaland religious theologians . You really need the ministry of the holyghost to take your stand. He also does the conviction. And grants you boldness and courage .
