Why does tithing bother you so much. My ten percent start in giving to God is really bothering you yet you give 'far far more than a mere tenth'.

That's the thing . The tithe is the smallest of our giving. Whats the fuss about it. People dey give moto, land, house as seed. The man who give tithes gives far more than tithes. Why is it this tenth that is being fought? There' must be something spiritual about it.

We ought to judge, try, and test to see whether other people that call themselves Christians are false prophets or not. This is important because many are afraid to judge, but we are commanded to judge and "try the spirits". Christians are permitted to judge ourselves in the faith but not people who have not come to knowledge of Christ.

1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Trying overly spirit is not dealing with another minister but rather doctrines. That's what I had said earlier. We can judge doctrines but not condemning people. Because you don't agree with them.

1 Corinthians 6:3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

That's the point I'm getting you to see. We can judge (judiciarily) dispute between two people. And it's done among Christians . Not in public forum where all the enemies of Jesus are watching. Muslims , satanist,and sinners. God hates the open ridicule of his body in presence of sinners.

John 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

That's my point brother , I want you to judge righteously. How much do you know about what you condemn . Besides there difference between condemning a man and condemning his action.

Why do you need to know people motive before you speak against falsehood? Don't you know the word of God is the mirror through which we know people's mind and motives?

Motives play a major role  in judgement . If not you will judge in error. Because what you're condemning may be based on truth. There are different revelations . It's only God who. Can judge in some matters.

Romans 14:5-6

Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. 6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. When we come with the attitude of "HOLIER THAN THOU" and judge others without even knowing the much they know . It doesn't make sense. You don't condemn a man because you believe something different from his own.

4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.


We can judge doctrines but not people

On the contrary, they are encouraged that there are still few people out there who stand for the truth. When the people that has been deceived gets true, revelation they run away from falsehood to the truth.

Has it ever worked? It's against the principle of the bible. You cant ridicle the body of christ openly and expect positive response.  If you're really open ,let's discuss it biblically

Besides, many of the verses you quote to defend falsehood is actually not accurate

Why would I want to defend false hood . I don't even believe in many of the things they practice. But that doesn't mean they are wrong. You must know peoples motive to judge . That's even of you must judge anybody. People have different revelations from the word of God. Why will you condemn?

Salvation is not by that. When we preach that way . We give impression as though it's by works. Some sinners have battled with certain habit which they perceive as morally wrong. They've tried to stop. The danger of such message is that if somehow they are able to stop such ,they will feel they are now saved .But it is not these things that makes them sinners. It is rather the sin of Adam that made all sinners. Not their own conduct. The whole human race was doomed by Adam transgression.

When a man receives Christ his nature is changed. He is no longer the man that used to do those things. This is a new man.

What happened to the "new life or nature" of the so called Christian that continues to cheat, lie and steal with the hope of repenting afterwards?

Such are playing with their conscience becoming harden. No Child of God love to live in sin. Except they were not saved . Some people have demonic problem too. There's a difference between falling into a sin and living in sin.

If the sinner had no law what happened to the Gentiles who died before Christ came?

They will be judged according to their conscience. It's a witness of good and bad innate in every man.

Why did Jesus die if God couldn't forgive sinners.

Forgiveness is for Christians. It means pardon .  What sinners need is remission.  The taken away of the sin ." Sins" refer to conduct but "sin " refers to nature. 90 % of its use by paul in Romans refers to nature of sin and not conduct.

I'm surprised at this question, Jesus died for Man.

All have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God, we were sinners by birth and by choice.

Supposing we have a man that is not born again ,yet morally sound, very principled person. No smoking ,drinking, girlfriend etc. but he had not recieved Jesus. We actually have many people like that. They have high Moral lifestyle. If such dies ,is he going to heaven, haven rejected Christ?

Salvation comes by faith in Christ and repentance from sin, it is a two sided coin.

If you're born again , you ought to live right. There is no doubt about that.

If there is no godly sorrow that leads to repentance there can be no saving faith in Christ.

Paul was dealing with a case of a "brother " in church fornicating ,not an unbeliever or sinner.

Becoming a new creature only means that we are now free to choose not to sin.  That is, to be free from the law of sin and death through the Spirit of the law of life that is in Christ Jesus.

If a man recieved Jesus Christ and confess him genuinely as lord of his life.  But he didn't confess the things he did. Are you saying Christ will not come into him?

Repent from what? It's a christian who is sinning that needs repentance.  The sinner in the world needs a new life. I don't know if you misunderstand me or you deliberately read different meaning to my post. When I say a sinner needs no repentance , I'm not saying he should continue in his old ways (God forbid).  We are looking  at choice of language here.

Repentance in change of mind.  Salavation is change of nature. A sinner is not a sinner because of what bad thing he did. There's a nature of sin inside that makes him do such.  He didn't commit any sin by doing such because either he did them or not he's going to hell anyway because of the nature of sin inside. The bad things are only manifestations of the evil nature.  He didn't sin again any law . He had no law to sin against. The message of repentance was preached to the Jews because they had laws.

God can't forgive a sinner. Because he has no God in this world. Many people try to make a man confess all his "sins" before salvation"  my point is a man is not a sinner because of what he did. He is a sinner because of the nature of the devil inside. When he believe in the salvation through Christ. And he receives Jesus and confess him as lord the nature and the effects are taken away. He becomes a new creation.

He now has to learn the word of God to live right.

There are three levels of salvation. Spirit , soul and body . A man that has received Jesus as savior is saved in his sprit. Such a man may not be saved in his soul . That is where carnality,gossip and other evil vices dwell. Until the word of God save his soul.

Ghost simply means "spirit" one is ,one generically used than the other. Especially for specific topic.

Follow the bible . Are you in their hearts to judge their motives? Do you understand the principles by which they do what they do. Of course people can do the same things with different motive.

I don't support mantle ,anointing oil thing . But I will not bring myself to call those who do it names.  They work according to their revelation . They may have good motive. Besides I don't think anybody will be selling such for money .

Some of those practices are based on certain biblical principles. How much do you know yourself  , to comdndemn another man? If there is 10% tendency that some have good motive and intention, that you be enough to refrain from blanket attack on all.   The best you can do is I can bring such topic to analyze. E.g is ANOINTING OIL biblical ? Let's discuss it. Seed faith, hankershief etc, let's see from perspective of those who do it. In all thus we don't have to call anybody name . It's topic we are discussing. If God say don't judge , that should be enough for the wise.

FEAR OF HELL AND ANTICHRIST GOT ME SAVED

Yes , primarily, I got born again , partially through the fear of hell, but the main thing that terrified me in their message was the reign of the beast. I used to think the beast was a tall animal. They shared that in yoruba and called it "Eranko" ( animal/ beast) I remember asking , Cant someone climb the leg of the beast and hide under him? So I was more terrified about being left behind and being chased . Nowhere to hide , being caught and being torn apart by animals. I was told that my two legs will be tied to two different horses and as they run in different directions I would be torn apart. I was told that on the day of the rapture , thunder will strike from one end of heaven to the other, then there will be a loud alarm in heaven. So every time the formation of the cloud change , I would start praying for forgiveness. I had my childhood "sins".


I delayed before because , I had though I could never get saved or be good enough for God. I had thought I could dive and capture any good person at the rapture and hold on to his legs. I was sure Jesus won't take me. In the days where you were made to believe that chewing gum is for ashawo or ashewo. And i was adicted to my Bazooka chewing gum also I used to roll paper and smoke with my friends behind one Capenter shop until we burnt his cupboard down by mistake through the firewood we hid to rekindle our paper cigaret (one of my sins)  we couldn't own up who did it. So I couldn't face the fact of confession and admittance to that thing , my prayer was for God to forgive Satan. I kept asking. "can't God forgive Satan?"

But the particular day  I really gave my heart, the cloud was so dark, the wind was boisterous, then there were thunderings all over. And  I heard a loud long alarm, not knowing that It was a police siren,   I was convinced that the beast was coming that day , so I prayed. " PLEASE, JESUS, SAVE ME, I GIVE MY LIFE TO YOU. It was when I came out to see how many were left behind that I knew the rapture hadn't taken place and that it was a police siren car that was being repaired. Behind the barrack where we stayed in Ibadan (iyaganku barracks)  my dad was police.

You ve no right to call them charlatan. You don't know their motives . People cold still have done any of such things with honest intentions. As they feel led . You may fund yourself committing a sin.  By being judgmental of what you don't know.
