Soul winners are precious and influential people in the sight of God. As a child of God nothing should mean more to you than leading those in your world who have not yet known the Lord into salvation. This is something you must take very seriously this year, more than ever before.

2 Corinthians 5:19 says, “To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.”

God has committed to you the ministry of reconciliation; not only did He call you into the fellowship of His Son Jesus (1 Corinthians 1:9), He’s also called you to partner with Him in soul winning. In Romans 12:11 we’re admonished not to be slothful in business, but to be fervent in spirit, serving the Lord. It’s talking about being fervent in God’s number one business, which is soul winning.

You will experience even more success and progress this year as you engage in soul winning and soul winning activities. People are God’s greatest assets on earth. Until you start winning people for Jesus, you’re not involved in God’s asset building. The Lord is always reaching out to the unsaved, to touch their lives with His power and glory; but He can only do so through you. Therefore you must always be passionate about soul winning.

To be effective as a soul winner, you must see beyond your present circumstances; you must see beyond every limitation and refuse anything obstructing your view in this great responsibility. Get rid of all distracting influences and fervently serve the Lord as a soul winner this year. It’s your purpose for being. The Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 9:16, “For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!”

Keep sharing the Gospel with those in your sphere of contact; it’s the right thing to do, and it’s what God demands.

Prayer
Dear Father, I thank you for saving me and making me your partner in saving others. As I share the Gospel with others today, I pray that faith will be stirred in their hearts to receive salvation, and be at once catapulted into the glorious liberty of the sons of God, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

I don't really want to repeat myself over . Tithing is a spiritual principle. The structure under the law was strictly for the Jews . The tithes we give today is not based on levitical order. The process or structure is not the issue.

For example the reason Abel offered first fruits  was different from the reason Israel offered first fruits . The way Abraham gave tithes was different from the structure under the law. So the issue is not th process but the principle . So if you want to compare church tithing with levitical ,it doesn't make sense.

Prayer And The Founding Fathers

A Treatise on the Prayer Life of those who Founded this Nation. (AMERICA)

Those who read the original reports of what our Founding Fathers did often are surprised to discover how large a part of their activities prayer was.  Like us, they prayed at church (obviously a long time practice in this country), they prayed before and after meals, at public meetings of all kinds, at political meetings - just the kinds of places and events at which Christians do today.

Like them, when we pray we include confession of sin, thanksgiving and praise.  Also, a large part of prayer today is for those we know: family members (for health, employment, plans, troubles) and the same for friends and acquaintances, sometimes even political figures!, especially when taxes are raised, the economy is down, or a new law is passed curtailing one more freedom.  We don’t miss much in our prayers, do we?  Nor did our Founders.

As we celebrate the 233rd anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence it is appropriate to review some of our history, some of the stressful years before and after their declaring their independence from the tyrannical rulers who had sent armies across the sea to destroy the exercise of their God-given freedoms - and here a perusal of their prayers reveals something very unusual.  What could that be?

Looking at a few of our Founders’ prayers we discover several differences. Perhaps the biggest difference we would notice right away would be the public proclamations of prayer.  Very early in our history, whenever a disaster of some kind occurred, a day of prayer would be announced.  We see this in the report Gov. Bradford made concerning the need for rain when their crops were drying up: He writes (notice his "creative" spelling!):

(N)otwithstanding all their great paines & industrie, and ye great hops of a large cropp, the Lord seemed to blast, & take away the same,,   Yet at length it begane to languish sore,,   Upon which they sett a parte a solemne day of humilliation, to seek ye Lord by humble & fervente prayer, in this great distrese.  And he was pleased to give them a gracious & speedy answer, both to their owne, & the Indeans admiration, 1

Going on, then, to a later day we read about events previous to the Revolutionary War.  For instance, in February of 1775 the following proclamation was made: "For A Day of Fasting and Prayer"

By the Honorable Jonathan Trumbull, Esquire, Governor of the English Colony of Connecticut, in New-England in America; To offer up fervent Supplication to GOD, for His gracious Presence with us---to give us true Repentance and Reformation and to make us fully sensible that our Dependence must be on His Power and Grace alone, to deliver us from all the Evil we feel or fear;---that He would not leave us to trust in an Arm of Flesh ;--

Soon things got worse - "Georgia Completes the American Chain" ,Continental Fast Day, July 20, 1775:

(Prelude to the proclamation of Trumbull)  On his (Washington’s) arrival at Cambridge, July 3d, 1775, he was received with the joyful acclamations of the American army.  At the head of his troops, he published a declaration, previously drawn up by congress, in the nature of a manifesto, setting forth the reasons for taking up arms,   When general Washington joined the American army, he found the British intrenched on Bunker's hill, having also three floating batteries in Mystic river, and a twenty gun ship below the ferry, between Boston and Charlestown.  (It looks like the British are readying themselves to subdue the colonists!  Italics mine, Ed.)2

Excerpts from The Proclamation, July I3, 1775, by Jonathan Trumbull, Lebanon, Connecticut, to George Washington:

The Honorable Congress have proclaimed a Fast to be observed by the inhabitants of all the English  Colonies on this continent, to stand before the Lord in one day, with public humiliation, fasting, and prayer, to deplore our many sins, to offer up our joint supplications to God, for forgiveness, and for his merciful interposition for us in this day of unnatural darkness and distress.  They have, with one united voice, appointed you to the high station you possess.

Not only is this a proclamation to Washington; it was proclaimed to all of the inhabitants of the American colonies:

(C)onsidering the awful Frowns of Divine Providence,, I have therefore, by and with the Advice of the Council, thought it to be appropriate and do hereby appoint Wednesday the first Day of February next, to be observed a Day of Fasting and Prayer throughout this Colony :---hereby exhorting both Minister and People of all Denominations, to humble themselves before GOD,--- confessing our Sins, and entreating His Grace and Favour.

What happened as a result of this proclamation?  I would like to quote further from David Ramsey’s history:

Since the fast of the Ninevites, recorded in sacred writ, perhaps there has not been one, which was more generally kept, with suitable dispositions, than that of July 20th, 1775.  It was no formal service.  The whole body of the people felt the importance, the weight and the danger of the unequal contest, in which they were about to engage; that every thing dear to them was at stake; and that a divine blessing only could carry them through it successfully.  This blessing they implored with their whole souls, poured forth in ardent supplications, issuing from hearts deeply penetrated with a sense of their unworthiness, their dependence and danger; and at the same time, impressed with an humble confidence, in the mercies and goodness of that Being, who had planted and preserved them, hitherto, amid many dangers, in the wilderness of a new world.

May we like them, go to our Father in these days of trouble and anxiety.  May we, too, "humble ourselves before GOD,--- confessing our Sins, and entreating His Grace and Favour," not depending on the "arm of flesh," but:

Offer up fervent Supplication to GOD, for His gracious Presence with us---to give us true Repentance and Reformation and to make us fully sensible that our Dependence must be on His Power and Grace alone, to deliver us from all the Evil we feel or fear;---that He would not leave us to trust in an Arm of Flesh ;---

This is the true meaning of touch not my anointed and this is what am talking about as you can see, it involves physical. please read within context.

Am sure you read my post very well, this is the true meaning of touch not my anointed as this involved killing physically.

I may not exactly agree, it's not just about the physical contact. He should not be touched by hand or by pen or by mouth or by post. The touching has to do with any injury either verbal ,criticism ,etc remember Paul's case . He only used his mouth at the high priest ,but when he realized ,he repented openly. That's touching the anointed.

That's true. But those who are "touching " are not doing it in love as we see here. Jethrow admonished Moses in love but Mirian and Aaron Were judged.

I asked of only one scripture. And of ll the scriptures you quoted. None specifically tithes are nulufied, So pls search again and give only one. I'm not asking about the law ,I'm asking about tithes. Because the tithes principle precedes the law. And it's been proven that certain principles under the law are still valid .

Is there a single verse where God or Jesus,or any apostle says tithing should end? The things that are passed away are the things Jesus fulfilled. Tithing was not a shadow of things to come, it's a principle . Sowing and reaping ,giving is a principle, Honouring parents is a principle, prayer is principle, principles transcend dispensations ,they are eternal

That's not a point. After all he condemn the observation of sabbath and some othe practice of the law but he didn't condemn tithes rather he endorsed it. Besides he took money from followers.

Paul had churches under him. He wasn't dealing with congregation directly he had officials who ran the running of those churches, besides tithes is not for msn . It's Gods. So the language of Paul collecting tithes is wrong. It doesn't belong to the local pastor ,neither the general overseer.

It's not commendable. That was Paul he knew the truth and he admitted he had that right. But he was dealing with a perculiar situation ,it was his choice . Remember he decided not to marry. It's a choice. Will you make celibacy a law be ause of paul personal descision?

The Jews still believe in God but they are suffering partially since the sinned against God. They will be restored when they finally come back to God and embrace his messiah for them.

America was a nation under God. Her foundation was God, her constitution was made through the word of God. But they began to take God out of their system. That's the problem . The same thing goes for Israel. These two nations were founded on Gods principle. When they turn away from God . They suffer for it.

You may call it cherry picking. But I pray God open the eyes of many of you to his truth.

My point is  this, Despite the general anointing which is "election" chosen" a holy nation etc. the we're chosen from among all nation to be separated . That "chosen" also  mean "anointing" or "elect". The point is that from among this elect of God he still chose some and he elected ,appointed or anointed them over others. And the principle still stands that among these generally anointed ,there' are people God anointed specially over others and the other people of God must not touch these anointed ,because their calling is of God.

This anointing which i will call "special anointing" has to do with leadership and offices in Gods kingdom.  Theres parallel if this in the old testament. When certain leaders withstood Moses claiming "we are all anointed " that same voice of rebellion is ringing in the church today.

Some leaders gathered against Moses that he didnt have more right Than any person since they were all "anointed" but they missed the principle

Numbers 16:3-5
3 And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the Lord is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the Lord? 4 And when Moses heard it, he fell upon his face:

What was God response to them .

Numbers 16:20-22
20 And the Lord spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying, 21 Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment. 22 And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation?

And what was Gods judgement?

Numbers 16:32-34
32 And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods. 33 They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation. 34 And all Israel that were round about them fled at the cry of them: for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up also.

You don't attack spiritual leaders , you submit to spiritual leaders and you will be blessed of God in the church.It's a spiritual principle. Principles in God transcend dispensations . They are forever. Old or new testament.




Another good example Is David and Saul . David has several opportunities to kill Saul ,the rejected king, but he understood the anointing. If you dispose the anointing ,you can't function in the anointing. Even though God rejected Saul , but for the fact that oil was poured upon him , despite the fact that Saul committed blunders, David a spiritual man will not "touch the anointed "

Even when Saul was looking for David to kill him. And he made a mistake . He ,was pressed and went into a cave to release himself leaving his soldiers outside but he didn't know David was inside the cave. Abishai David servant asked for permission to strike Saul dead onetime but what did David say

1 Samuel 26:9

Even when someone else later came to David claiming he had killed Saul, thinking David will Honour him. What was David response?

David knew spirttual principles. He knew the word of God.

Exodus 22:28
Thou shalt not revile the gods, nor curse the ruler of thy people.


That was the same principle paul acted by. When he lashed at the high priest for sending somebody to slap him in court. He didn't know the man was high priest . But when he realized look at his response.

Acts 23:2-5
2 And the high priest Ananias commanded them that stood by him to smite him on the mouth. 3 Then said Paul unto him, God shall smite thee, thou whited wall: for sittest thou to judge me after the law, and commandest me to be smitten contrary to the law? 4 And they that stood by said, Revilest thou God's high priest? 5 Then said Paul, I wist not, brethren, that he was the high priest: for it is written, Thou shalt not speak evil of the ruler of thy people.

SPIRITUAL PRINCIPLES ARE ETERNAL. THEY DONT CHANGE. OLD OR NEW TESTAMENT

In the church ,we ought to submit to those who God anointed over us . Satan will always push certain people not to recognize this truth so as to detstroy them.

Hebrews 13:17
Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

Giving is giving, is not more about what it's used for even that has its place . The major thing bout your giving is your ability to conquer you GREED. Your DENIAL ,SACRIFICE That's the principle behind it . what ever the church used it for is not the issue. It's a project. They gave for it. If it were for buying or renting a place of worship,they would still have given.

The scripture refers to Jesus at his second coming and his millennial reign on the earth,

It's a choice . It's called denial. Why do we fast? Is it because we are poor. It's a choice ,it's cakled denial. Paul choice is not everybody choice. You follow Gods plan for you. If you're called thesme way he was ,follow it. Remember he even denied himself a wife . It's his choice. And there's no problem with that. The important thing is to know his will for you.

We are not under the law. But there are good principles in the law that are spiritual . They still hold .but not as a law. They are spiritual truths.

America will go down. In fulfillment of prophecy . The only way to prevent this is to Go back to God. As long as they follow the path of sodom and Babylon ,grace will keep departing from them.

Curses do work

There are different kinds of annointings. There are levels if the anointing. The word anointing has several meaning. There is general anointing for all people of God and there's is anointing for office . It is ignorance if we can't distinguish the two.

You must have respect and Honour for those who God has anointed into ministry offices over you.

It's not out of context. The truth is clear there. Paul explained the reason he refused to take money fom the Corinthian church. They were carnal . For that reason ,they would not see the spirituality of giving to him. Besides he wanted to have voice to rebuke them well. So he didnt want to feel obligated to them . He therfore refused support Even though he knew he ought to take money according to his argument. This only happened in the carnal Corinthian church.

You should remember he took money from other churches . And the fact that he didn't get money from them didn't mean they were not giving  to God in their services.
