@jesoul I just want it to be on record that I complained officially because the other time i mentioned this, you claimed I never complained. You guys made rules ,and this rules are to create atmosphere of sanity. A poster is supposed to focus on topic and not on an individual. As long as you are passive about such, the site will get messy. How can you call harassment freedom of speech?. So what are the rules for? |

@frosbel Your own better,I've wasted my paints many times in the studio. If you know what acrylic paint is, it dries so fast within minutes. When my iPad alarms and Im notified of posts by people like frosbel , I drop my brush and post , before I'm through posting ,Expensive paint don dry for pallets I have to mix fresh paints . I finally had to abandon acrylic paints for oil paint which stays hours longer.When I'm in the office and people come talking to me. I wouldn't want to offend anyone out of politeness . I give impression I'm listening actually try to believe I am. Nodding my head Until they observe that im just nodding my head in agreement To nothing , especially when they were no longer talking! . They will say "are you on Nairaland "? I will say sorry just give me 5 mininute but they know that means 30 minutes! |

nlMediator:I understand. Im not spoiling bussiness for Tow men. I mostly get involved in situations where there's no help or where they have bad Samaritans . Take for example, one night on the express between ph and warri , there was a blockade which made of us to take the freshly sand filled and uncompleted dualized part. It rained . And up to 10 buses sank with mama ,papa, children as passengers. Some I learnt have been there for hours. I got them all out. But there are cases where one has to help a broken vehicle in the middle of nowhere to a nearest place of safety. Are we going to consider law in such desperate situations especially if your car is full? If you want to continue to tow, maybe you should consider getting a license. That way, the government people won't be mad with you since the revenue part is taken care of. But you may still be an enemy of tow-truck owners and their drivers. Safety is probably the least on the list of factors, given the Nigerian situation.I made more enquiry now and the information I'm getting is that such lincense is only issued to commercial operators. will I now go and join association because I wan help people? My conclusion is that there are times one may have to follows ones heart depite whatever law. Especially if the law is contrary to spiritual law After all I've seen an advert on CNN where one broken down fish truck was towed by another bigger good Samaritan truck. No permit! |

I know what it means to drive an old car, I know what it means to be stranded in the middle of nowhere sometimes at night in a journey because of broken car. I've been there when my car get dunked in the sand or mud and BAD Samaritans comes to push ,only to harass me for money later. That was years ago. That's one if the things that prompted me to be helping those who get stuck on the way . By towing thier vehicles to safety. I do this regularly as I see such needs. But recently I got arrested for towing without licence . Is it a crime to help a brother out? Has anyone heard this before? |

We should not mix them together. Another issue is that a man ,called of God can make a mistake. The mistake doesn't make him false. We just group all together here, it's not so. A false man is against christ. But whoever is not against christ is for christ. Another issue is UNFAITHFULNESS. If a ,inister is called of God and he becomes unfaithful to God in conduct and lifestyle. God will judge him. Even though he had cast out devils ,he will be a castaway. Thst doesn't meant he wasn't a christian, he became unfaithful to God. 1 Corinthians 9:27 27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. Matthew 7:22 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? Isn't this contradictory? First you argue we should judge by doctrines or fruits, then you say we shouldn't judge anyone.It's semantics . There are different uses. The first one means to discern . The second one has to do with condemnation. So corruption should continue to thrive? You've only stregthened my point by posting John's replies. Who says this to our politicians today? How many people practise this? Be content with your pay.I quoted that scripture for you to know that corruption has always been , even in the bible days. So that we stop bla,ing pastors for corruption in the land. It has been there and the church will keep teaching against it. And then you digress. No one is saying the church isn't helping. I've personally organised computer classes for members of my church free of charge. Members donated most of the computers and printers we used. I will forever remain grateful to the church for giving me a space within their premises.I'm glad you can openly admit . That's commendable. The either mostly being created here by anti church groups is as though churches are businesses instead of a place where people are being built. Ministry is about people and not about money. I've seen pastors inflate prices on church equipment in order to get some of the share of the tithe.Can they escape the judgement of God ? Or the attack of the devil. Such people die young. You have to admit that when there is poverty, people will hold onto anything that gives them hope,Are you now saying the Word of God is non effect in lives of people?. The word of God will always produce the result of what it talks about. SO long as we operate by faith. |
