I love the way you presented your case it's wonderful , and I feel your friends here should learn from that we  don't need to throw insults to communicate . Even though I don't agree with everything I want to save a copy for further studies.

I don't see tithe as a scam, because for me it's the least of my giving, I  presently don't even give tithe (10%) again because it's just so small. I give 20% or more . It's personal conviction and I know several people who do far more 30% upward.
I don't think a man who wants to go to heaven will be lying to people to deceive them and he expect God to recieve him in heaven. There are several issues that the body of christ may not agree for the now, but we ought to accept each other and respect their conviction until Gods greater light will make the change . It is wrong to scare people to tithe as a manipulation, God is not cursing anybody for not tithing. For me tithing has it's benefit , if you do it , you partake of it, if you don't, you miss the benefit.

Is it not 'common sense' that if God deletes names, He must have written them in the first instance? You say you've not found A SCRIPTURE where God writes names. You just quoted one! The Exodus 32 passage says 'thy book which THOU HAST WRITTEN'.
 BTW, what makes God to delete names? If the person repents again afterward, does the name get written again?

What I was saying was that God is not writing fresh names, names had been written already from the foundation of the world. God can only delete names now. We don't pray for him to write our names. He didn't promise to write our names , he only promise he will not delete certain peoples names

Revelation 3:5

God doesn't delete and write again. A man's name is not deleted just because he sinned . His name can only be deleted because he has lost it forever. The bible talks about sin unto death and sin not unto death.

1 John 5:16-17
16 If any man see his brother sin a sin[ which is] not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it. 17 All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death. 

The sin unto death is apostasy . There is no more remission or forgiveness  for such

My point was in response to the fact that the apostles were not born again even though their names were written . They didn't get born again until jesus was raised from the dead and breath the holy spirit to them. Jesus was the first to be born again . Judas was among the people Jesus mentioned who's name were written , but being written is not a guarantee for salvation. We still have our choices to make. Judas still had his name deleted in the end! Even though it was written

When I said that  Names being written in the book does not guarantee salvation. It means that a name being there is subject to change. God deletes names.  I've not found a scripture where God is writing manes of people in the book but rather we have several scriptures that reveal God deleting names from the book . Because the name were all there.

Exodus 32:32-33

From the dialog above and other scriptures, names are not being written . It is evident rather that names already were written from the foundation of the world. Everything about our lives , purpose, callings ,etc were all written in heaven in the book of life. If a man backslides and fall out of faith. His name will be blotted out. If a man dies without being saved , his name will be blotted out. If a man gets saved and remain saved , his name will remains.

The fact that their names were written in heaven shows that they had the greatest miracle of everlasting salvation of their souls which is greater than the temporary and spectacular victory over demons and this was before Jesus' death and resurrection.

When was their names written in heaven ? The writing of names in the book of life is no guarattee for salvation. The truth is . Everybody's name is written in heaven from birth. But when a man dies without recieving christ , his name will be blotted out. I have heard people when leading sinners to christ say things such as " write my name in the book of life" its one of the errors based on ignorance. God does not write names in the book. God only delete names! When a man falls out of faith or a man dies without christ, his name will be deleted.

Now concerning the salvation of the apostles. Nobody got born again until Jesus was raised from the dead. They only got born again when Jesus ministered the spirit to them after resurrection.

Isaac transferred the Abrahamic blessing by a prophetic prayer.

It looks like prayer here but if you read vs 37 it is also prophetic.

We should avoid danger of judgement that God didn't send us. Lets focuss on the gospel to the world and leave men of God to the hand of God to handle coupled with our prayers. We point accusing finger to a fornicator but we commit  heavier sin with our mouths in judgement.

The fact that someone pronounce blessing does not mean he doesn't teach on love or righteousness. You don't know everything about his doctrine .

TONYE, our responsibility is to pray for ministers and for the body of christ, we have no mandate to criticize ministers or churches. And as per the food supply, it was Elisha not Elijah that spake on the supply of food, and his words were meant to edify the believing ~ which is where i still stand that Prophesies are meant to make people grow better in the journey of the spiritual man . Elisha's prophesy was meant to make the people have food but to make them believe in God.

What do you say about Eli prophecy to Hannah that she would have a son. Or  samuel prophecy, that Saul would be king. Or Elijah prophecy that food will be cheap tomorrow, or of the abundance of rain. Or Apostle Paul that declared "my God shall suply all your need"  Before we just continue to criticize ministers do we understand their perspective. That is why God is cautioning us on judgmentalism.

Prophecy simply means to speak by divine inspiration . And a man can prophesy by faith also according to his knowledge in the plan of God. I'm not aware if these men you mention don't preach or teach that members should grow spiritually or get saved. I don't deny that everything can be abused, but we should leave judgement of what we don't know to God.

Something else occurred to me. I have seen many people in NL bashing anyone that seem to have a dissenting opinion without even being patient enough to hear the person out. The Berean Christians were praised in the new testament because they went home to search the scriptures to see if what they were told in church was according to the scriptures. That is why I don't want any blind assertion with no backing scriptures. If you want other Christians to learn, don't shut down the argument because of what you pastor told you. Lets do what the bible says.

That's one of my great concerns, those who perpetuate lies are afraid of exposure by truth. So they get into personality attack , if they have any good point , they should relax and bring it forth. The word of God is our authority.

The church didn't charge entry fee for service. The church announced that only few people can enter the auditorium which serves as a studio for broadcast . Several centers were created all over  for free. But the main auditorium had had issues in time past with crowd . The committee made admission by seat reservation. And they made the ticket 1000 for the main auditorium but other four auditorium there didn't require tickets . Those who had no tickets went into the other halls .It was merely a test to see if it will do the crowd control. The issue was not about money. How much is 25 million? We could have raised a billion in a week if there is a need.the auditorium cost well above 3 billion I'm not aware there is an auditorium that takes 30,000 with full air condition in this nation. We didn't go on air to solicit for funds. We gladly give because we are blessed in our giving. So the ticket was to reduce attendance in the main auditorium. The organisers could have done better but that's what they thought best. But it was not about raisng funds.    

What is the church's response to the ex-Sheraton Hotels' guy charged with fraud who claimed he gave the money to the church?

He only gave part in church. And the church teaches against stealing. We have hundreds of branches in lagos and he attended one of them . Pastor chris didn't know him. He gave some money through the branch. So he didn't  give pastor chris money. If a man gave for tv programme and the money was used for that purpose. It's the tv station that should be answering question. What if he had given money to charity home, or bought coffin to bury his father? What of the one he spend to buy food stuff and other personal services , why not ask them to pay back? If he gave pastor chris money personally it would have been a different thing. But if there is any wrong doing on the church part , the law would have been invoked against the church. we should allow the law to have it's cause and not our emotion. Criminal do go to churches , thinking by bribing God they can get away with evil. Pastor chris had called robbers out openly by the spirit and they came out to surrender. And he lead them to christ and police too their weapons.

Such thing does happen but it's still by Gods spirit .   Jesus junior brother James became leader of the church, Jude also was Jesus brother . We can ask God if Jesus did family business .Paul had priscilla and aquilla ,a couple that pastored together under him. They had a church in their house which they pastor together. That's an incomplete report.it was seat reservation for a reason to cut down numbers. We agree there could have been a better way. But It wasn't imposed . Hmmm i laugh in Igala language. Everybody want to go to heaven but nobody wan dead. Even in freetown there is no free lunch.
