It's common sense to protect yourself in the face of threat . When your time is up and your MINUSTRY is done then you can offer yourself like paul and Jesus. But remember paul once hid in a basket for safety

Simply trust Him, for He’s the God who gives life to the dead, and calls things that don’t exist as though they already existed. He lives in eternity where there’s no past or future. With Him, everything is in the “NOW”; and He proves Himself Master over all circumstances, no matter how late, dead, or impossible they might seem in the eyes of men.

Not verse in the bible support divorce and as a Christian, bible is our tool of practice and guide to holiness. Divorce is mentioned several times in the Old and New Testament, as God hates divorce, and there are very few exceptions where divorce is allowed in Scripture. The only exception is adultery.
