What was the lie? And if I was really lying I would have kept on denying it since there was no proof on ground here. See ur life!

People will say whatever they want here. Next thing tell us how u founded the thread lol.

All because of Tammy ur back at it again. Calling names.

Ignore mode starts here
TheSuperNerd:
I take the Super Eagles seriously. That is my true team. I have no euro club affiliations... And this thread is about the Super Eagles so as you can see, you clearly mishot. I want the focus of the thread kept aright and not running with people who asslick an England international when in fact we have SE players doing it at that same moment of focus on our lads.

Bottomline, you were caught lying and you eventually caved in. I am not even the first monicker to call you out on where your allegiance really lie. The way you asslick the foreign born Naija lads is funny. You always speak for them as if they are all right and Nigeria is always all wrong. That says a lot about you man. You've been served.

Fatoyinbo is also a practicing Christian, and so are most of the thieves in positions of authority, what does that count for morality? Who is not a religious bigot in this cesspit of corruption and immorality?

It should also be a learning opportunity for you as well; if you can't take a response, don't ask the question. Your guilt is speaking through you, hence the multiple mentions.

Sorry for hitting where it hurts.

I have called him out on several occasions. He takes this thread too seriously. People will say what they want to say hear. Nothing will happen.

komekn:
The bold is entirely from your prejudiced negative twisted bigoted perception. Once again no substantive facts just your negative imagination.

Everything you have said about Joebie is self-birthed, self-justified, self based and self absorbed and is all PERCEPTION LED.

You make no attempt to substantiate your emotive prejudiced led inferences. But somehow you think they are substantive. It's very conceited and arrogant.

Your rhetoric is like the emotive rantings of a women scorned.

You don't determine what people should talk about it may not meet your particular preferences. But it's his choice to discuss, mention or highlight whatever issue he wants. You are not the traffic warden of the thread.

You try to bully and aggressively harass anyone who does not agree with your train of thought.

This approach is very juvenile and far from positive. I thought by now you should have learned a bit more civility on this forum. But alas I was being over optimimistic where your concerned.

What I am saying in a NUTSHELL is stop bullying people who don't agree with you. Try and be mature and appreciate every ones perspective.

I for one don't always agree with quite a few hear. I find myself opposed to Icon4s, BascoVanVeli and TheGoodJoe on many occasions. But we don't get into a vendetta of hostile words and contention.

Let's borrow a leaf from Netherlands. if the team has only one abroad born player it should be because that's the best team possible. if the best we can have is dominated by 90% abroad born players then so be it. We should always be about presenting our best. Sentiments kill progress. We should be blind to where a player is born etc. We are in a globalized world, there is no such thing as a true Nigerian, or being more NIgerian than someone else. Only people who feel threatened think like that. just like so many white supremacist in America who are threatened feel immigrants will overpower them eventually. These things are not different.

okay then.. so there is no point reading that thread since you couldn't answer a simple question

TheSuperNerd:
Joebie... Please. Enough. You are trying so hard to sound smart about a team you didn't even follow match by match at this tournament. If your idea of being "a humble student" is by toying with semantics and dragging the discussion with refusal to check out comments made here since the tournament began, then that idea is surely a farce.

Next time, KNOW A TEAM before you try to analyse or give opinion about them.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 9:27am On Nov 06, 2019
Are you saying you have assessed this TEAM as a TEAM in this TOURNAMENT on that thread?
if yes, I will go check it out. if not, there is no point.

TheSuperNerd:
Go and read Joebie. I have better things to do other than to repeat myself. The words are on the thread. If you want more, check out the U-17 thread... But ofcos, you won't. You were just talking.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 9:23am On Nov 06, 2019
at the end of the day this team will be assessed based on their performance in this tournament just like every other team. So if you can't speak from that context there is no point...

TheSuperNerd:
And I don't have time for long talks. If you are lazy to read, then that shows you are not willing to listen to what I have to say.

You argue too much even when wrong and caught on the wrong side of things. I repeat, you lack the in-depth knowledge of the team to speak about them because you didn't even watch them enough. You wanna know about them? Go read comments... If you cannot, then it shows you are not ready. Chikena.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 9:18am On Nov 06, 2019
oga tell me about this TEAM in this TOURNAMENT. I don't have time for long reads. you watched all the game so please tell me about the TEAM without mention of an individual player is great etc. A humble student here WAITING.

TheSuperNerd:
I believe my posts on this thread and the U-17 thread since the tournament began will give you enough ideas. Consider it a starter pack course.

I insist, what you saw is not enough. You admitted you never really saw a full game. So it can never be enough to access them as a whole and from an original standpoint.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 9:17am On Nov 06, 2019

SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 9:13am On Nov 06, 2019
The team I saw didn't play well as a team. And I'm commenting based on what I saw.

If I watch only second half I go talk. So you can educate me more about the TEAM since you watched almost every game. I will listen to you.

TheSuperNerd:
Joebie... Bottomline remains this: YOU HAVE NO GROUNDED IDEA OF THE TEAM AT THIS WC. PERIOD.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 9:05am On Nov 06, 2019
oga that Averageee remark is fun to me.. so don't get irritated about that.. na just tribute to Afobear lol.

I'm speaking from a tournament standpoint.. In terms of what individual players will become, it can go either way. Some players that we write off may turn out to develop well and be the best in future.. I'm not castigating anyone who have been able to notice some talents here and there, but let's not forget why we came here. I will assess the team as a TEAM.

Modified
I don't think coaching was the problem in this team. I've followed how this team was formed and their preparation. I think it was administrative lapses and interference from several quarters. We know what Manu Garba can do.

TheSuperNerd:
You haven't watched a full game of the team yet you feel you are entitled to call them Average. A team you have hardly watched and thus will
not be able to properly analyse? Na wa.

From the outset, many monikers including me stated that this team won't win this tournament. They lack many things. Speaking of standout individuals was only pointing out the positives.

The team have genuine potentials and in those key standout players lay the team's best hopes. But whether it was going to be enough depended on the coach and the players themselves. Sometimes, talent takes you far... But at other times, talent is outwitted when not properly coached, channelled and utilised the best way.

And you cannot say it as it is when you never really saw enough of the team. That your saying it as it is, is you just blowing hot air without an idea of what the team is actually all about.

I'm not a Chelsea fan. I support teams with Nigerian/Nigerian eligible players. People who have been in this thread long, and are sincere, know that.

However, going forward I will come here and celebrate Tammy just to prove a point. grin

balorx:
Baba you never answer the question grin. if Chelsea should face Liverpool or leceister who will you support?

And please no one says u shouldn't be biased on Tammy or like the guy but this is a super eagles thread and like supernerd said, there is always a time to talk about foreigners
if Tammy scores, we no need immediate update that's just what we are trying to make you understand and nobody here hates Tammy but we can't keep lingering on a player we already lost...we have so.many talents up there ..buh you do as if tammy can still play for us
THAT'S WHAT NEEDS TO STOP
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 8:50am On Nov 06, 2019
Funnily, throughout this tournament I have not watched a full match of this Golden Eaglets. If I have not said much about any individual in that team is because of that fact.
But there has been so much talk about their individuality. Granted it's a good thing, but that cannot win us the tournament or at least make us go farther. I noticed they were not playing well as a team from the different parts that I watched, and that's what I was focusing on. We come to tournaments to win or do well. And when I evaluate any Nigerian national team it's always about their chances of winning or going far. I will never mince words, I will always say it as I see it. When I see a very good Nigerian side I know it and I will say it as well.

Modified
Didn't I predict that we will end up in top 4. If what you are saying is true, I would have predicted doom for us as the last AFCON. But to me, a top 4 place is not good enough for us. That's my own personal bar. Because I believe we can do better and we should be doing better at the WC. During the AFCON at the group stages our play as a team was pretty bad. I personally did not believe at that point that we will get to the SF, and it was at that point I predicted otherwise (and also predicting Algeria will go all the way). So Mr. man I make observations based on what I see from time to time. it's never a prediction of doom. It's based on how I analyze our team relative to other teams. But it's okay for fans to be optimistic regardless. It's not just the way I approach things.

TheSuperNerd:
You were quick to call them average but you fail to see the potentials and bright spots in the team inspite of their many flaws.

You do this almost everytime with almost every National team of ours at major tournaments.

You have repeated same pattern again. Predictable.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 8:35am On Nov 06, 2019
Well it's a good thing you said probably. I have countless of posts here that I was not in favor of Tammy. So what you are saying is irrelevant.
I have always been in the #Performing Team and this is regardless of where players are from , born abroad or not.
which is why I never clamored for Tammy when he was not performing. It's as easy as that. You cannot name one player that I have supported here even when they are doing badly. And one player that I have not praised here when they are doing well. Even the much "hated" Akpeyi I supported his recall whole heartedly. I'm waiting for someone to mention a player. But here we have people full of biases, but you want to throw stones. If actually I do have a bias for Tammy, it would not be because he is from my area, because there are a host of other players also from my area that I have not mentioned much here. The controversy around Tammy is because he has been performing mostly and was in the center of the Nigeria vs England debate for a large spell. it's as simple as that

Humility017:
please don't mind him....
he is doing that probably because he is from same place with Tammy....

you see bro...many here spew tribalism/sectionalism in code.

hope manu garba eyes have opened....nah. next time he will conduct 6 geopolitical zone screening of prospective under 17 hopefuls and not restrict it to mere North and southwest....
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 8:24am On Nov 06, 2019
i've said it long that Tammy will be mentioned here regardless whenever he performs etc. That will definitley happen because you absolutely have no control over people's data, and everyone cannot act the same way, but I took it upon myself not to bring it up when he performs well (when I notice), AND THE CONTEXT IS SINCE HE HAS BEEN CAPPED BY ENGLAND. That I put a smiley first before I changed it to clear throat is something I didn't notice that nerdie was refferring to initially because I wasn't reading Nerdies every line. It was when I got it clearly I remember the incident happened. . So if I changed it from smiley to clear throat, why is there so much focus on what I put there at first, if our goal is not to derail the thread? What is really the intent of all this? ANSWER.

BY the way, I hd just got home, and I was in a hurry to watch our match. All that happened during the day football wise, I was oblivious to. I didn't even know Chelsea etc had a game. I have not been following football keenly lately for personal reasons. For someone to be accusing me that I am evasive.. many pages back when I was for Tammy and many of you were against me/him, could you tie me to a tree and flog me? What is there I have to lie about? it's just plain stupid to me.

ChrisKels:

Lol I never lied. At least my conscience does not bother me because what you have been referring to I just now realized. But you've got it all wrong.. I hope this is not how you mis-read people in real like. If so you will not keep good relationships.. But I really think written word and spoken words are two differnt things. I'm hoping this is not what you normally do. I will give you the benefit of the doubt.

If I have to read this your epistle this back and forth will not end.. but I really don't have the time to tackle this your mission to defame me, right now. I have always been the one to say the obvious, and it's not going to change. Time and time will always vindicate what i've said. When I have more time I will read this your entire post, and will respond where/if necessary. I need to handle other issues here.

TheSuperNerd:
It's okay. You can lie coz I know you won't own up. Not that it bothers me but it just exposes you for who you are. You deny your Tammy bias but it is so obvious. That only speaks about you. You encouraged a talk with a "grin of pleasure" grin about a guy even you even agreed should not be focused on in the light of when we talk our Super Eagles players and Prospects. A player who spat on our faces (literally that is what he did even though he does "love" the country).

I will only say this... Just focus on our actual players. Tammy is gone forever. Focus on the ones that want to play for us and are playing for us.

I see the way you always try to label Nigeria and Nigerians as one country with every one bad and everything corrupt. You sound like you are some saint while every other Nigerian is stinky. I see the way you bash this country's citizens as if all are bad eggs and command some silly arrogance.
You keep talking like the Naija foreign borns are always right and Nigeria is always wrong. Even in Eze's matter, you stand with Eze even after the lad asked for time to think about representing a nation that has now come for him.
You even made a silly comment about inviting the lad without his consent... Like what the f**k?!

Man, I have been watching. To you, Nigeria is all shades of bad while the foreign borns are all shades of good. This is partly why your bias for Tammy never wanes. You always want to drum in the negatives of the country and indirectly use that to say, "Well, Tammy was right to do what he did by dragging our open arms in the mud and throwing it into the trashcan".

Your stand on this is truly distorted and the likes of Kellycute and Chriskels (and one other Moni i do not recall for now) have called you out on this on very few different occasions.

And let me add Tammy willl be mentioned here even without me saying a word. Tammy is not a tabboo. He loves Nigeria. He loves the music. He likes the food. But he prefers to play for England shekina. We discuss a host of players here that has no biz with thread. We often go political and tribal..To me that's far worse than talking about a player who turned down Nigeria. The former is evil, and the latter is someone's personal choice.

Manu should be left to tinker the next team without interference. he should be giving all support to camp early and comb every nook and cranny of the country. And test his boys against most of the academies etc. Abroad born players should be given a FAIR chance to fight for a shirt.
