nothing wrong with giving him another chance.. he is performing.. if he come backs and gives us the same thing, it would mean he is not just it for international assignments. BascoVanVeli: Watching Daniel Akpeyi play the sundowns and even the commentators are talking about his improved body language.
The guy is sending 50 yard dimes to Billiat like they are back passes. We must take advantage of this new found form. |

One talent can make a big difference in a team. We have all seen the impact of Aribo in SE. Aribo was in League one just last season. He was never wanted by England. If he were playing in the EPL with interest from England, he would have had a tough decision to make like the other players. These players are individuals and they cannot handle the pressure the same way. But one thing remains common with them, they are more open to playing for us when age is not on their side and things are not looking great in their career. It's a day to day decision they have to make just like we all here have personal decision to make. It's not about patriotism. I've spoken about this many times. komekn: This is the hypocrisy with the NFF, why wait for a player to blow.
Dominic Iorfa had already blown when he committed to the SE. A player that was wanted by several EPL clubs but loyalty to former manager Kenneth and Wolves made him reject those offers.
After the politics of football seen him frozen out of Wolves. He failed to sign with Mendes as some have spuriously speculated.
Well where is he close to the top of the Championship, where all the 5 teams at the top section are divided by just three points.
But the question is not which league you are playing in but what are you doing there. Are you outstanding for club and league and consistent with too perfomances❓
What's the general opinion. See below |

Ebere Eze has been on our lips. He could have easily got a competitive call up long ago considering we've had only Iwobi as AM, when Mikel was observing his sabbatical from SE. There was no better AM out there. We cried Eze Eze.. today he is even perfoming better than then. He was devoted to Nigeria, and there is absolutely nothing wrong if he has second thoughts for whatever reason whether sensible or not. He is human to have second thoughts. edi287: You mean for a kick about that didn't mean much? When both Nwakali brothers were invited, Eze was doing better. We argued this extensively here. Nothing wrong in feeling the way you do. Unlike Tammy, I won't blame Eze that much(still disappointed) provided he pledged to us but we were inviting players who didn't deserve to get invited ahead of him as at that time. Anyhow Na for Rohr to play 2 DM and a CM when Iwobi is not so no worries... |

If/when Iorfa starts making waves in the championship the whole narrative will change. The truth is things are getting better now for him. Let’s see how the story continues. The goal for any national team should be not to field/want players that are not performing. When they start performing they begin to have OPTIONS, they are spoiled for choices. Clementoke: What shall it profit a player if he shall gain the whole money (by making "big money" moves, signing huge endorsements, getting fat contracts) and not getting noticed in international football?

We are as big as our football federation. Clementoke: Super Eagles Too Big To Be Treated As Plan B – Rohr Shut The Door On Tomori
The chances of Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori playing for Nigeria still remains valid after his bench role for the Three Lions of England in the last round of international games where they played against Czech Republic and Bulgaria respectively.
Tomori was an unused substitute in both games that would have tied him to the English team permanently as both games were competitive fixture. Playing in any of them would have ended his chances of switching allegiance to Nigeria.
His bench role means he is still available for selection for the senior national team of Nigeria if he is called up although the process will take at least a year to be approved by FIFA.
Coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Gernot Rohr has however ruled out the chances of that happening insisting that his team have moved on from Tomori since he made public his decision to play for England.
” He pick where he is comfortable and we wish him all the best with England. No point thinking we can have him back as it will be dangerous if we allow players view our team as second option when all fails, I think we are bigger than that. I hope he succeeds with England “, Rohr said.
