That’s the fun of discussion. Putting out different formations is a good thing. One person gets it right today, but gets it wrong tomorrow. If we were sure of what will happen or what is best we won’t be here in the first place. There is always room for surprises in football.

elyte89:
Only on nairaland we get to c diff formations, dis one shld be dropped for dis,dis one is ahead of dis

Onazi,if fit will always start every match along with dis following players if fit too,Mikel, moses, ndidi, ighalo, ekong and balogun at d world cup till we get to d final destination. This players are d fulcrum of our team, every oda players position is open. cool

The question really is who is better today. Onazi comes with WC experience. He is also young, but what is his current form? Who will partner Ndidi is the question. Ogu is also pretty good. Competition is a good thing. Rohr will decide who is best before
Match time.

Martz101:
You are getting it all wrong, I am pro Nigeria players, even the ones not in Nigeria national team, I only stand against what is not right.

How can an Onazi be drop, drop him for who? shehu or Etobor reallyhuh

All this pressure for change makes us lack consistency, no surprise we lacked players with 100+ caps

He doesn’t have the hunger anymore. I think it’s a psychological thing.

He can still make the World Cup, still has a few more matches to prove some people wrong.

I’ve been mulling over an Ighalo-Simy two prong attack. At least it looks good on paper.

TheSuperNerd:
His height is a bonafide menace for any defence aerially and he is strong on the ball too for someone so tall. The second goal showed his fine ability to hold off pressure and marking and still get off a shot... his first goal was scored with his shoulder. Funny. That height is huge. A fine prospect and he is 25 now (will be 26 in May)

I don’t like the American anthem. Nigerian anthem would sound great with some good symphony arrangement.
One of my favorite is that of France.

Wow, so you have taste for Anthems like I do,? I love all those 4 you mentioned. But don't you like the American anthem too?

A few more nuggets to spice up your Monday morning (enjoy):

Messi's evolution into a creative midfielder and a striker at the same time is evidenced by the stats: he leads La Liga this season in goals (32 goals), assists (12), chances created (81) and secondary assists (passes leading directly to an assist: nine
).

It won’t stop me from being an ardent follower of the league. But I can’t stop saying the obvious.

BascoVanVeli:
Give the league a chance our players are trying their best but Nigeria is corrupt and this has crept into our football. Clubs feel like if they don't settle the ref for their home games the other teams will when they go away. Other problems are distance, ethnicity and a win at all cost attitude.

Alex Iwobi Joins Growing List Of Injured Super Eagles Players, Suffers Hamstring Problem

https://www.allnigeriasoccer.com/football_pics/10900Alex.jpg

Alex Iwobi has joined the growing list of injured Super Eagles players, with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger confirming post-match that the winger suffered a hamstring problem in their 2-1 loss to Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday evening.

As everyone saw, the Hale End Academy product played through the pain barrier against the Red Devils, but could not be substituted because Wenger had used all of his three substitutes.

Ahead of the trip to the Spanish capital on Wednesday for the Europa League semifinal second leg against Atlético de Madrid, the Frenchman is also sweating on the fitness of David Ospina and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

''Mkhitatryan I took off because he had a little knock on his knee again, the same thing, just looking at him in the dressing room,'' Wenger told reporters.

''Ospina has a rib problem and Alex Iwobi has a hamstring problem.
''We’ll see how everyone recovers because Thursday will come around very quickly.''

Wenger added that Arsenal will continue monitoring Iwobi in the next forty eight hours, and by Tuesday he will know whether or not to name the winger to the roster for the trip to Spain.

The 21-year-old has appeared in 36 games in all competitions this season for the Gunners, scoring 2 goals and providing 7 assists.

Whoscored ratings is purely stats based. For example, I saw Iwobi’s rating move up from 6.3 to 6.4 when he made a successful tackle. I think different points are added based on the type of positive action by the player, and points are deducted based on the type of negative action. A goal for example would fetch a player more points compared to an assist.
kennysville:
See now? Which kain bias rating be this now? 6.78? When it was so obvious the dude played so well for his team... the best player on the pitch for arsenal today. He easily had an 8 today and thats me being critical
