Tolaji I believe had two assists, right?

tbaba1234:
Arsenal under 23 won the Premier League 2... A young Nigerian left back Tolaji Bola was part of the team.

Tolaji has played for England under 16, 17 and under 18.

That's exactly what I'm trying to say.. our first 11 always come against familiar competition. Let them see fresh faces here and there, and they won't be too comfortable. They all have to show at game time that they deserve to start in the subsequent match. Any slack, there should be a player ready to take their spot. I think that would bring out the best in the team.

Modified
I'm not particularly a Rohr critic but I think many players in the team are too comfortable..

Kog45:
I'm coy on this coz of Rohr's approach in integrating players look at Oyekwuru but given Kalu and Olayinka chance,Musa and Simeon w just need to up their game.

The problem is Nigerians feed on instant gratification.

tbaba1234:
I have been saying this same thing for years. I was even tagged an NPFL hater... I think, it is becoming clearer though.

SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 8:41pm On Apr 21, 2018
The real problem is we do not make these observations until we fail at the continental stage or at major competitions.
When we do well at CHAN we sing a different tune. If Nigeria had done well at the just concluded commonwealth games we would all have been celebrating like all is well in the sports sector.

So what am I saying? if we are not seeing quality in the home front consistently there is a big problem. And this big problem has always been there.

tbaba1234:
Many of our top quality players in Europe did not come from the league.. They were directly picked from academies across Nigeria.

For instance, It took Awaziem less than a year of leaving Nigeria to make Porto's first team. It shows that the talent is in Nigeria but our NPFL clubs are not doing proper scouting... We do a lot of recycling players.

I look at most of the Nigerian stars coming up, very few played in the NPFL.

A few surprises? Even in my 35 man list I don't think I've ignored any player besides Agbo.

Icon4s:
Now you really can see why I have not called for the inclusion of any outfield players of late.

Rohr may just include a few surprises to 35 man list. But I can tell you the 23 man list is almost ready.

lol I just dey pull your leg

Icon4s:
We are talking about Rohr's best right? You couldn't come up with any names.

OK let's reduce it to Rohr's second bests. The ones you called bench warmers.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 5:24pm On Apr 21, 2018
The question really is are the said players potentially better than the bench warmers? Are you asking the same question?

Icon4s:
We know this.

OK, name those players that are capable of posting competition with the starting 10 out field players that are yet to be invited

the best need consistent competition to confirm their superiority. when the competition is not better, you discard them and bring a new worthy competition.

Icon4s:
We are talking about best right? That is best for every position.

Name that player that deserves a starting place in Rohr's best 10 outfield players that has not been invited. (Goalkeeping position exempted)
