This will make a good interview question for head hunters. |
Yeah Nigeria too can benefit from outsourcing. Foreign countries can bring in their citizens for training on how to avoid 419ers and credit card fraud. That way after the trainings am sure no country will be claiming that they have been defrauded by Nigerians since the "yahoo boys" themselves would have taught them all the tricks with which they are swindling them. |
That guy deserves a [move]RED[/move] Card. |
We will get this seat, no matter what some idiots think. To show how we want peace we let Bakassi go just like that, if we want we would have form a coalation of OPC, Egbesu, Arewa, Area Boys in conjunction with the Nigerian Armed Forces to drive out all those Camerounians, but we did not do that. This shows part of our maturity, those that Mugabe boot away from his land are now in Kwara. We are really the big brother. It's not uncommon for your yonger ones (South Africa) to be richer than the big bros. But the maturity and wisdom is always there, what we lack in economic terms we make up for in our maturity. Thank God we did not declare war on Cameroun then, this would have negatively impact our chances now. |
I support nothing but wireless links to the homes in Nigeria. Cables are messy, and NITEL made them worse. |
The man is going places. Anyone that see what he has achieved in those commie countries will know that he has come to stay, how many of the critics have even been able to have such a huge following even in ordinary Togo. |
insane delusion of being a Giant by words of mouth and not deedsWe have been saying it, and it will surely come to pass. We are not only the giant sef, we are the pillar, the rock, the everest, the sun and moon of Africa. |
thats exactly the point. The bullet is only the cure.LOL, that's a good one, Colt, Browning and Tombstone makes good combination too. I was i lil bit happy when i heard it was a cure, thought it won't kill though. |
So how do we get to inject Osama with a full dose. Btw, i don't think that pics is nohing but that of a live bullet. |
I wonder if she think say Hollywood na beans. Even Americans sef no dey find am easy to enter Hollywood not to talk of one with with heavy accent. I beg make she no dey console herself with a role in any Hollywood flick because of the ban on her head. Hollywood no be IT wey dem fit outsource anyhow. |
What made me to start thinking about an alternative to Windows is this: I don't really like the idea of using pirated software (but when you are in Nigeria I wonder what you can do). Also I was getting scared at times, asking what would happen to windows if and when Bill Gates dies? So share, tell us what made you switch to Linux? |
I really wish dem go give Nigeria dey seat, for patriotism sake, but to give dem na one thing but to play the role na another tory.when we enter the clique of the big boyz we go play like big boy, na because say we never get serious competition na im dey cause all these yeye. if you go to your in-law house at least your behaviour go change small, we too when we move from been a local champion ( big boy of AU) we go get our acts together and make sure we become solid big boy overnight. |
Take for example, the church talks about purgatory but ignores the idea of the existence of hell when purgatory can be proved to be non-existent and hell to be existent based on biblical fact. We Xtians hold the bible to be complete and believe it's writings were inspired by God and anything outside it that does not agree with anything inside it is not biblical.@kodewrita, this shows that you don't know the inner working of the catholic church. In the catholic catechism it's always stressed that there is heaven, hell and purgatory; This i also believe. When you look at this world, the punishment for someone that kill is always different from that of someone that steal some amount of money. So you must know there must be a way God will pardon someone that happen to die in some trivial, and even in purgatory you will have to go through some of the experiences that people in hell go through, but only that you will still have hope of leaving someday, but your leaving is not 100% guaranteed, and for Christ sake why won't anyone aim for heaven straight. When you talk about the Bible, No church on earth can know the Bible more than the Catholic church, i won't want to go into the details here. |
I hope you don't claim other promises meant for themMe as a person i don't claim promises meant for the Israelites simply because am not one. But i hold tenaciously to the promise of God to Abraham which says "through him (Abraham) all nations of the earth will be blessed". And am blessed already through Jesus Christ. |
I normally use HijackThis to remove programs that i don't want to start at system startup, and i normally use prcview(www.prcview.com) to terminate these unwanted processes. The fun of having to deal with them this way is just too great, even that way i get to know their mode of operation. I have used the method in my earlier post to remove that same virus several times and it worked smoothly. |
Am currently reading MEMOIRS OF EXTRAORDINARY POPULAR DELUSIONS, BY CHARLES MACKAY. Hardcore computing textbooks are the next thing i used to, the only problem is that they are very expensive and very hard to come by here. I also read lots of e-books on computing and technology too. |
it's not in your place to check and confirm the justification of the collection of tithes and even offering in the church of God.that's my view and i know anyone that can give this issue a second thought will understand what am talking about. Of all the people that are going to churches how many of them do visit motherless babies home. Until we are able to break from the shackle of not "thinking out of the box" we will never advance as a nation. Anyway we all have our viewpoints. |
@Ogunwale, it's like you are not even confident in yourself. And you banked all your hope and aspiration on your certificate. My view about life it's all about your attitude not your altitude. Bleep university degree, and first or second class for that matter. You can be anything you want to be, but it all starts from within. If you see yourself as a failure you are failure, no amount of prayer can change that. Albert Einstein was considered a failure because he has Asperger's disorder, failed classes several times. But that did not stop him from being a celebrated scientist. One other thing is that we all shine in different fields, Einstein was successful at science but he was a failure in marriage; but that did not stop him from being what he wants to be. Since you said you are already working at Telnet, you can learn all you need to learn there. I as a person always advocate knowledge and not education. For 86 years the Red Sox has been a loser, but they did not disband them, and last year they were able to win their first world series in 86 years! It’s quite unfortunate that people that should have encouraged you are even adding to your sorrow. My bros you can make it, if only you believe. Prayer alone won’t help, that’s one mistake people make. Your attitudes toward your situation determine how God will help you. |
And for those who thought that being God's servant is a disqualification to one becoming a president; well, I have a different opinion because David of the Bible did God's will and he was a King (president) also.@pkrix, the posibility of Pastor Chris Okotie becoming the president of Nigeria is almost 0. Politics is not for a man of God. When you look at the make up of Nigeria you will know it's not for a proclaimed man of God. Imagine if He become the president and the Moslems or any other religion invite him to donate for their cause, what will happen then. I i heard the man of God now cruise the town in an Hummer jeep how many member(s) of his church have one. It's not that i have any beef against that, but i can only imagine if i would have believe in Jesus Christ today if he has been going about in sleek chariots while His disciples go about on their legs. It's time we stop being sentimental. |
Am stoutly in support of separation of religion and state. Take a look at what is happening in Iran, Saudi Arabia, Zamfara etc. Did it not infringe on the rights of citizen of those countries and state that are not in the mainstream religion. Me as a person I respect all religion and am liberal, the only way a state can be fair is to do away with religion in state matters. |
but what I think he is meaning is using it for backbone and then last mile technologies like ADSL, wimax etc which are dependent on fibre links.that's the only thing i support, fibre to homes is not just possible here. Anyway does anyone know how much WIMAX equpment cost now, i need to know more about the pricing. |
also try running your anti-virus in safemode, because alot of process's don't start in safe modeam not sure that will fix the problem, if the virus process is not running how is the antivirus going to find and remove the virus. It can only remove files that are signature to the virus. But i think it make more sense to run the antivirus in normal mode. |
I will rather give my 10% straight to people that need it, that way am sure it will have the desired impact on the life of those that need it most. At times churches can't justify the collection of tithes and even offering. Does Bill Gates pay tithes, yet he is the world richest man. Giving straight to the poor is the best tithe you can ever pay. After this post i found this article http://www.truthortradition.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=161 |
I am a catholic and I will die a catholic. It’s the only church where I know the in and out of her working and am sure we don’t use any ungodly power; I was once a mass servant, there is no hidden thing. Most of these so called new generation churches are based on the principle of what the owner/founder can get. But the Catholic Church is quite different; fathers don’t have children/family so the incentive of them being corrupt is not there. Money realized get plowed back into the community and to people that are suffering around the world, but where do other churches put their money? |
I see education as an investment that must pay a real nice dividend at the end of the day. If you are not from a uber-rich family stay off all those private institutions. When you spend a million for a 4 years course minus other expenses, what are the possibility of you been gainfully employed at the end of the wahala, i see that as a bad venture, if i have a rich dad that's ready to "waste" his money, i will rather take the money and face business straight. 1 million in 4 years will bring me enough returns than education. Omo i be entrepreneur (and all am about is the profit margin). |
thins thing sef na lie, wey that stupid poster since all these days. at least you suppose give us feedback instead of turning us all into "asoro ma gbesi". |
because no doubt you must have an office for meetings and all thati think an e-office will make a better cost effective option. People collaborate virtually 24/7 on serious coding not to talk of ordinary meeting. |
Your ability to get a degree in a Nigerian university, whether you actually learnt anything of value or not, is a good measure of your ability to tolerate employment in a Nigerian workplace!@seun, what i mean by certify is that you should be able to perform creditably well in a field/career that that certificate is saying you have study. if we talk about the hardship graduates went through that's not a criteria for getting a degree, how about some that went through all that and go home with nothing, and how about those that buy "(whichever means)" their way all through. |
This is my own contrib. It's in Yoruba, Omo ton kodan ton padan ton radan to tun fowo idan padan. Editor says: If you can't follow the rules of the thread, please don't post. |
got a friend like that who stopped attending lectures/taking exams. he's really crazy about going to go to UK for studies. seems he'll make it this year. but his mates are now serving (NYSC) and if he doesnt...God dey sha.@trae_z, if your friend know that what he want to do in life is to "ja" why did he decided to waste his parent money and his own invaluable time in the university. Most people that want to "ja" at all cost are purely doing it because of covetousness. And when they get out there they turn themselves into something else and spoil Nigeria's good image. Am convince, 90% of people that "ja" by all means end up bringing disgrace to this country by perpetrating some nefarious activities. And the following are some of the main reasons: 1.) They enter illegally so they have to get money to find their level, so they do just anything to get that money. 2.) Their ultimate motive is to be able to come back and be showing off here in Nigeria, so they have to do anything to make the money with which to fund their ostentatious lifestyle. If you see anyone that travel for some tangible reasons, they hardly get themselves into doing ungodly acts. They will rather do menial jobs or come back home. My advice for anyone that want to "ja", before you get that passport, ask yourself, what do i want to go and do out there, is there any need for me to go there, and also what are the chances of me making it (big) there, don't presume or hope. You will know the right answer yourself, you can't cheat in self examination. |
Windows executables don't run on Linux and vice versa.@shockreaction i think you are wrong there. You can run Linux codes in Windows by using cygwin and you can use Wine to run Windows codes in Linux. |
