I have written on this before, and suggested that there be alternative routes... If that's not feasible, they should be restricted to moving only at night when there will be less traffic.
That's a major federal government express way. Just like you have benin - ore - lagos express way.

No one should blame the fire service. This is PMS and in such volume i doubt if fire service would have done much to curb the damage. Meanwhile how can we at this stage still be transporting PMS via tankers through residential areashuh What sort of backwardness is thathuh This is a wake up call on the govt and stakeholders to do the needful. No only Nigeria avoidable deaths dey turn unavoidable. So sad embarassed
That's a major highway. Or will you say goods should not be transported via major highways?

As big as Onitsha, no fire service, for hours the fire raged on. If not for Delta state fire service that had to intervene and yet it was far beyond their power as the fire had long caused lots of damages. All you see in Onitsha are touts extorting money from people all in the name of revenue generation, yet the useless governor cares less about the citizens. I pray he will be humiliated by the masses when ever he visits the scene of tragic incident. cry
There is a fire station at Onitsha.

It was reported that they actually responded but their pumps refused to work so they had to go back to fix it

The Nigerian army salutes like the British army.

Holy Arousa was built in the 1500s by Oba Esigie of Benin who was educated in a seminary in Portugal. You can Google and learn about the history of Oba Esigie online, there are documents and letters written from Benin to Portugal dating back to the 1550s in the Portuguese museum. The last imperial king of Benin was deposed by the British in 1897. Benin imperial history was already over before your so called church of 1898 was even built.
Holy Arousa is not a church. It is more like a shrine.

Is the lord Jesus Christ worshiped in Holy Arousa?

Holy Arousa wasn't built in the 1500s

So what is the name of the first church in benin and what year was it built?

Benin sons are the founders of most kingdoms in Delta state and Onitsha in Anambra state and some kingdoms in Rivers state. Benin was the Rome of West Africa in Ancient times. First letter written in Nigeria was written in Benin City in the 1500s, Benin had first church in Nigeria and first Bible in Nigeria, First Educated King in Nigeria, First to send an ambassador to Europe....too many firsts, I am tired of counting.
The first translated bible in Nigeria was the Efik bible, it was published in 1858.

The first church in Nigeria was completed in 1898. And it is located in Ake, Ogun state.

these things do not happen in countries where humans live. no one enters a construction site without wearing his PPE. even the president of the US wears his safety gears. No one on this site at their level of education or exposure knows that. look closely and will see a man without his shirt on with arms akimbo. this does not look like a government project. it looks like a community clearing work.

when will there be the construction of dry port in the east? the port in PH and in Delta are closed down. this regime is a regime of racists. this project is spearheaded by Osinbajo. Buhari has completed the dry port in the north. oya doesnt have waterways. there is water in the south but the govt out of their evil heart chose to impoverish the easterners and the southerners. they clearly prove to by action what their mission is. and the average yoruba man will act insidiously as if he does not know what is going on. they all know.
the only project that this government has done in the east is to order a cruel team in the military to form a deadly operation in the south and in the east.

there is a new project connecting the west and the north. but nothing else for the other tribes in the country.

the problem of deltans is the culture and the leaders. the leaders get money from oil companies and then sell out their brothers to die. the companies pay development fees to the leaders. this cash does not go to the people. it does not go to development. the stuupid youths will also form development groups that exploit developers. they aggressively rob people who wants to develop the state. they live like rabid wilds. instead of challenging their leaders they obediently wait to be slained. deltans have no love. one of the problems is the many tribes joined in a microcosmic community. the ijaws and itshekiris are more friendly toward one another. the urhobos are the worse. they do not care about their own. they live like scavengers. they just look out without noticing people around them.
every community they have unions and these unions are tools for embezzlement. though highly intelligent people but their lack of progressive sense ruined their chances of survival.

it takes the igbos yet again to develop these places. they have igbo market there. in the meat market you find igbos too.
the igbos have taken over benin. benin fell to igbos a long time ago. while the stupid benin people are looking out to make money, the igbos looked within to make millions. they control the market.

the problem is that the igbos out of greed gain domestic opportunities but lose their father-homes in return hahaha. the second generation of their children despise the igbo land cos the culture of the place in which they grow are ingrained in them.

many igbos are lost in the north, the west and in the south. not talking of the ones who live abroad.

i just love life cos no matter what you do, God has a way of balancing things. even after ripping other people off their opportunities it has a way of returning.
Chioma is going into the Adeleke to reclaim her ancestral asset.

so to me, this is not a construction site. it is a dump. take this away
A dry port is to be built in the south east also. It is situated around Obollo-afor in enugu state. I will try and snap a picture of it when next i pass through that axis.

Are we talking about the south south or East here?
Besides, if I may ask, has the government seized many of her functions in the north because of Boko Haram?

From my little knowledge, the militants always make their grievances known to the masses, what exactly is the problem of the Boko Haram? Yet the government is giving them amnesty and still all the ports and other facilities there are in good and working conditions.
How do we justify this? Since the militants attack everything in the 'east'
The eastern ports are not located in the south east.
Here are the list of eastern ports:
Calabar Port
Rivers Ports
Onne Ports Complex
Delta Ports Complex (warri)

Just like the East-west road doesn't pass through the south east.

Kano and Kaduna consumes more gas than you think.

My only question is, does Kogi state have gas?
Even if they were to have would the reserve be commercial enough to undertake such a project or is this another white elephant project?

We all remembered how APC wasted billions to look for oil and gas in Lake chad yet nothing
And there is a power plant (geregu power plant) located in Ajaokuta which receives it's gas supply from Edo state.

So what of if you dey do business from home? Maybe a freelancer or a tech startup or even a consultant. And you can't do any type of business nowadays without computer. Office space dey expensive for small businesses. Also no be everybody like to go office if they can do the work from house.

What he's trying to say is, whether suspected yahoo boy or not. Investigate secretly, get your evidences right, then approach a judge for a warrant, then go arrest. Simple!
Look at what the fbi people do. Once they get information from either victims or anonymous sources, they don't act immediately. They gather concrete evidence first. That's a civil society where everyone has a right and is respected even by the government and people in authority.
They actually draw attention to themselves, you see 10 to 15 boys living in a 3 bedroom flat. Then their many friends hang around during the day time smoking and making noise up and down. It raises suspicion.

I went to visit my mom some months back and there was this house about two compounds away from ours, the way i saw the traffic to and from that particular house i had to ask "which people dey live for that house self" and our uneducated hausa gate man (no offence) replied "na yahoo boys".

Yes i did, my point is the power claimed to be generated will be enough for the said university campus. The reason is because only about 30 percent of the university community will depend fully on the power supplied as more than half of the student and staff population will reside outside the campus

The lies here are too much
First University of nigeria ,nsukka (UNN) has the largest admission capacity and thats just less than 6000 students per year, so thats less than 30,000 students ...so there is absolutely no how BUK can have 20,000 students

7.1MW is just 7100 KVA (approx) and that's for say 23500 people thats like 0.3kva per person which is absolutely no enough

When u tell lies like this ,i know only 2.5% of nigerians are educated but please lie with sense
Most of the students will definitely live off campus . also most of the members of staff will live off campus too.

Just like UNN you mentioned up there how many of the students live on campus?

By the way are you Vitalis from mechanical engineering huh

Dstv Nigeria is headed by a Nigerian. MTN Nigeria is headed by a Nigerian too. Most if not all of their workers are Nigerians.

The way the South Africans set up their business in your country is that they let you partake in the running of the business. The lower or middle class south africans won't come to Nigeria to hustle.

A lot of Nigerians have never met a South African, or did you have a south African classmate when you were in school, or does a South African live in your street.

We cant even boycott their products cos they are one of the best in Nigeria.
