I had the reverse with Fiverr. For some reason, I just can't understand that platform but Upwork has been good to me.

My parents are the ones taking care of their extended families. The meagre sum I insist on giving them is strictly for them to spoil themselves with.
As for tithe, my church has an effective charitable wing so I am assured that it is put to good use.
Per my siblings, they love calling at all times to ask for things with school. So allocating that budget to them frees me from dipping into my savings whenever they call.

Buying a car now won't make sense because I rarely go out. Building a house will mean I have to stay in a place permanently and ion like dat. Renting gives me the freedom to move anywhere. I want to travel around the world one day while working.

Won't mention my tribe but my state has a beach

one beach abi plenty beaches? I grew up in a town with beaches.

Your story sounds similar like mine, but unlike you, I moved to Lagos.

You're a girl so don't care much about heavy investments like owning a car or building a house thus the reason you can split your earnings to have over 70k in giveaway (parents, siblings, tithe).

A man will definitely spend differently.

As for @chatinent trying to sell upwork training tutorial here, tell them the truth that they need to know.

Getting approved upwork account is not a guarantee for anything. Freelance space is already saturated and takes a lot to break through now than it was some years back.

I started freelancing in 2016 and I work mainly on Fiverr. Only managed to get one job on upwork and even after getting a five stars rating from the client, nothing else yet since that time.

I agree that the Freelance space is saturated, I wished I came earlier though. How una take dey get job for Fiverr self. I have made only about $850 on Fiverr, but for Upwork I have made almost $4K there this year, and about $5K outside Upwork.

Freelancing no easy o, it keeps someone awake sometimes late into the night.

One thing with Freelancing is a lot of peeps will want to join and start cashing out immediately. They will be like come teach me freelancing na. And when you give them something to read they will run away. I gave a friend Venzal's guide to freelancing some months ago, he read a few pages and told me it is too long, that reading is not his thing. That i should show him a faster way to do this thing jare.

Freelancing no easy o, but it pays. Signed up on Upwork late last year. Couldn't land a gig till early this year, at a point a was almost giving up cos I had used up my free connect and even bought connect. After my first job, it's been jobs back to back. I am not a pro yet but i average about $800 to $1200 monthly.

ACADEMIC STRUCTURE: The university have just concluded their 2019/2020 school calendar, becoming the only state University in Nigeria to do so, this is because the university doesn't engage in ASUU strike, and also, online lectures were carried out due to the covid'19 lockdown.

The environment is a beauty to behold, as it is located in the heart of kaduna city. For a state university founded in 2006, I am a bit impressed at the structures put in place but certainly does not justify the recent school fees increase.

Mary Ukaego-Odili is from Mbaise in Imo State and married to a man from Rivers State (SS). She is representing Imo State at the Supreme Court.

Okonjo-Iweala is from Ogwashi-Ukwu (SS) in Delta State and married to a man from Umuahia. She represented Abia State as a Minister.

Josephine Anenih is from Anambra State and married to an Esan man (SS), she represented Anambra State as a Minister.

Ifeoma Jombo-Ofo is from Anambra State and married to an Abian, and represents Abia as a Justice at the Appeal Court.

As long as Federal allotments are concerned, an Igbira from Ondo will not take the slot of an Adavi man from Kogi.

Political Allotments are done by Geopolitical Zones.

I am sure many of you would have come across this, but still its worth reading. Though the story looks not real, but still gives an idea for cross-selling.

A keen indian state bank manager, left the job and applied for a sales man job at london's premier downtown department store. In fact which was the biggest store in the world - You could get anything there.

The boss asked him "Have you ever been an salesman before? Yes Sir, I was a saleman in India replied the lad. The Boss liked the cut of him and said, you can start tomorrow and I'll come and see you.

The day was long and arduous for the young man, but he got through it.

And finally 6.00 PM came around.

The boss duly fronted up and asked, How many sales did you make today?

"No" answered the salesman. "He came in to buy a head ache relief tablet and I convinced him that fishing is best remedy for headache."

I saw some of them in the hospital during my last visit working with their Chief consultants. Young pretty medical doctors. Fine face with figure 8. The beautiful ones are not yet born, indeed.

These girls gain admission in Private universities at 16 these days. No ASUU strike or prolonged semester. In less than 6 years, they are done.

Check the medical sector boss. It's rare to see old women graduating from there because of the amount of reading and dedication required.

This is not true, she can't be a doctor at a Federal Government hospital at 22.

Lets assume she got into uni at 16, she will spend 6 years in medical school. Then one year for house-job. One more year for NYSC.

So that makes her 24 years old upon completion of NYSC. ( That's if there were no breaks like she finished med school this month and started house job at least next month. Finished house job this month and started nysc next month. Which will all know isn't even possible)

Marital property includes all property either spouse bought during the marriage. It does not matter whose name is on the title. For example, if a couple bought a home, but only the husband’s name was on the deed, the wife would still be entitled to some of the value of the home if they were to get a divorce.
