Jesus goes to His Father, God.
And verse 16 is just one other place in the Bible which shows the three persons of God.

We know from scripture that Jesus is the Son of God,

Those verses make it clear that Jesus is not the Father, but the exact image of his Father, and that is why He was able to say, you have seen me you have seen the Father.

Jesus is from everlasting and is the Father of Creation, the Father of all that exists.

Saying Jesus is the Father is ridiculous,
