kingofchess: I am in my early 30 and I have been dating this lady for a year now and we are planning to settle down together and this happened; there is this 11 months old baby in my compound who is very close to me and she just started walking. The very first time she saw my girl, she was soo scared and started crawling very fast towards her mum and crying. I quickly ran after her and carried her back to where my girl was sitting down, this time, the crying and running became very intense, I was shocked and I asked why the baby was so scared of her and she said she doesn't know. Two days later, she came to my place and immediately this baby saw her she was scared and crying that was when I jokily asked her if she is a witch and she got angry and left my house. After she left, a lot of questions started running through my mind: like, is she a witch? Does she has a marine spirit? What did that little girl saw in her? In fact a lot of questions. She later called that same night and was like; baby, I am not possess ooh, I should not allow this little baby come between us ooh and that she loves me very much. To cut the story short, less than two weeks later, the baby DIED. I was so scared if the baby actually saw something in her and she decided to shut the baby up ( I don't know, just an assumption). Ever since then, I have been scared of my girl and I really don't know what to do. Please, I need your candid advice. Please guys, how can i make the moderators move this post to front page.

Sufisunni: Minister of Defence, Major General (rtd) Bashir Magashi, has asked Nigerians to summon courage and stand up to the gunmen wreaking havoc across the country.
Speaking with newsmen on the sideline of the screening of Service Chiefs by the House of Representatives on Wednesday, Magashi described those who abducted staff and students of a secondary school in Kagara community in Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State, as cowards. He said Nigerians have the responsibility to ensure there is adequate security around them.
Magashi said, “Well, is it the responsibility of the military alone? It is the responsibility of everybody to be alert and ensure safety when necessary.”
“We shouldn’t be cowards. Sometimes the bandits come with about three rounds of ammunition and when they fire shots, everybody will run. In our younger days, we stand to fight any form of aggression.
“Why should people run away from minor aggressions? We should stand and face them. If these people know that the people have the competence and capability to defend themselves, they will run away.”
The Minister also dismissed the clamour for Nigerians to be allowed to bear arms to defend themselves.

Dis country self................ see wetin Defend minister dey talk.
We should donate Helicopter to take him to Niger state and fight them since he is not a coward.
logadims: Seems the police came to arrest some of the occupants in that compound who brought out their dogs and the police men were scared of entering the compound.
NwaNimo1: Herdsmen have right to carry arms, forest belongs to nobody, PDP governor declares
Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state has said herdsmen are not to be blamed for bearing firearms. The Nation reports that the governor said they are only protecting themselves against cattle rustlers who attack, kill and take away their possessions.
Legit.ng gathered that the governor spoke as a special guest of honour at the launch of the inaugural edition of the Bauchi correspondents’ chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ)’s magazine titled ‘Correspondents’ Watch” on Thursday, February 11.
Governor Bala Mohammaed of Bauchi state said that herdsmen have the right to carry arms. It would be recalled a popular Yoruba rights activist, Sunday Adeyemo, well known as Sunday Igboho, had issued a quit notice to herdsmen accused of sundry crimes in the Ibarapa area of Oyo state and enforced same. Granting amnesty to bandits:
Lai Mohammed defends Zamfara governor Reacting to the development, Mohammed said the herdsmen have the right to live anywhere as Nigerians, adding the forests where they graze their cows belong to nobody. He said: "The west doesn’t want to accommodate other tribes but we are accommodating your tribe in Bauchi.
We have Yorubas who have stayed in Bauchi for over 150 years, some of them have been made permanent secretaries in Gombe, Bauchi and Borno. "But because the Fulani man is practising the tradition of transhumans, pastoralism, he has been exposed to cattle rustlers who carry a gun, kill him and take away his cows he has no option to carry AK 47 because the government and the society are not protecting him. It’s the fault of the government. ”Nobody owns any forests in Nigeria, it’s owned by Nigeria. Under section 23, 24 and 25 of the constitution, every Nigerian is free to stay anywhere.
Anybody can speak how but we are only exercising restraint.
soundOsonic: Like the saying says don't speak ill of the dead. what if the deceased was actually a dead beat when he was alive?
I was at a funeral, (not a fun place to be) then the pastor started with a long sermon that will make even the dead bored. Well he got my attention when he started speaking of the deceased. He spoke very nice of the man, how he was a good father (this man reigned curses on his children like 11 times a week), he also said the deceased was a responsible husband ( he literally comes home drunk, and he was indeed a broke stingy man except when he is in the beer parlor), the deceased is generous (only generous with the booze), a good Christian (he actually was a fan of teenage girls, he chases them like a cock on heat).
I was tempted to stand up and look through the coffin, if at all I was at the right funeral maybe the pastor did not know this folk so I thought. Then others came to give testimony of how kind and down to earth man he was. I was shock like someone living in aso Rock. The hypocrisy was so much that I only waited for the burial food and drinks if not I would have left.
Do we speak good of the dead simply because we want to comfort the bereaved, or just look nice to say something nice about people? Or can't we not drop the hypocrisy and say everything good, bad and the ugly about the deceased after all that's still honoring the memory? Or we should just hold our peace and say nothing since we don't have any good thing to say?
Your guess is good as mine. Let me drop a funeral joke for you all.
in a funeral, the priest after the sermon asked the pew if there was anything nice to say about the deceased, everyone looked down staring at the lace of their shoes; the priest later said " common guys at least anything good about him even if it is a sentence" then a man at the back seat shouted "His brother was worse"
not all the time just that most people are fearful or pretenders. Dan Penne went to burial and finish the dead woman after which the grandchildren of the dead woman ran to Dan and ask for his number why dan ask the three said he is the only one that described their grandmother well. He gave themhis number
