That's when I flipped and asked her what was her business with it but she lied and said they're an NGO collating peoples opinion for a poll. I asked her how she got my number she said through the network providers data base. I went ahead to tell her she was invading my privacy. Latter when she sensed I wasn't tuned to their games, she said her good byes and ended the call.

You got a message. I was called by this No. 07085588480 claiming to be an NGO called Forward Nigeria but when I google their name and got to their site, the first thing I saw was a PDP umbrella. The person even asked who I planned to vote for.

if you know that lagos state had cctv (actually planned to have it) installed around the state, then you should know that the federal government stopped them (lagos state) from installing/using it. They claim that security is in part of the exclusive list(responsibility) of the federal government.

Maybe by threatening to sue them to court for improper Good house keeping (GHK) during production and total disregard for consumer health safety by getting d services of a lawyer who will first write them of d situation or report to NAFDAC (last option though cos dis means making money for corrupt politicians to steal ,cos we know NAFDAC can't fine them for nothing less than several millions of naira).

As anyone ever done dis n got good money from this companies or gat advices to give.

NOTE:: pls don't castigate us, since d govt cant help us,we av to utilize d slightest opportunity to hit big time.

The only way you can get anything from them is tru blackmail. Show them and threaten to take it to channels tv, NAFDAC and post the video recording on youtube.

Aside from the above, you aint getting NADA from them. You can't sue for damages cos you've not taken it so you didn't suffer any injury and once it is opened they will deny it and may even sue you that you put it there to frame them and blackmail them.

Also you have to be quick with whatever you want to do cos a good PR of a company will quickly go on air to tell the whole country to beware that their engine got faulty thereby producing some of those. This will eliminate any potential trouble from this cos they will say they said it already.

During the blackmail, make sure you get a recording of your conversation.

You have to put the population growth and the available land size to consideration which affects anything done by any state government.

Lagos is already densely populated and for the fact that Fasola has been able to control the state in a country with high rate of illiteracy is highly commendable.

To know the kind of problem states with high population growth with low land size face, research on cities like New York, Tokyo, Bombay, New Dehli etc and you'll appreciate the work of Fasola.

PPP in the power sector was a result of the unbundling of the sector completed by the Jonathan administration.

Public power generation was an exclusive of the federal government until now.

I repeat it is not a private project it is a project of the government for the government. You are always allowed from time immemorial to build a power plant as long as it is not meant to be distributed for the sole purpose of exchanging the generation for income. The power project built by Fasola is not for generating income. Its for the governments own private use of powering its facilities.

Had the water board being privatised, it would've changed the whole scenario, but it was not allowed to be privatised therefore what the government did still falls under what has been obtainable from pre-GEJ era.

Dangote built a power generation plant long before GEJ privatised power but was used for his own company and for the community where it was built but not for generation of income.

Lagos state had always wanted to build its own power plant for the whole Lagos state but the PDP government had always blocked the move.

Don't come online and display your ignorance. Just because you saw PRIVATE there does not mean it was a GEJ inspired initiative.

Get some education. Private Public Partnership(PPP) still falls under a government project contracted out to private firms to run for a time and eventually return it to the government.

It is a kind of private financing of public projects. It is not owned by any private company. The private company on the authority of the government, source for funds privately, build the project, run the project for a period of time to make their profit and hand it over to the government.

The two major advantage is that it reduces corruption and the government does not have to use public funds to build it.

PPP has being around since the time of OBJ not GEJ initiative.

PDP and APC are both evils but it is better to choose the "LESSER EVIL". The PDP government is become a MONSTER and if care is not taken we won't be able to control them in the future. If the APC gets there and tries to do the "Egyptian Brotherhood stunt" Nigerians will reject them and go for another. That's how to develop a nation.

Take southwest for example. In 1999 Alliance for Democracy (AD) swept the whole of southwest states. When they fumbled, people replaced all of them except Lagos state with PDP. PDP ruled for 8years in most states and when they fumbled again AD had learnt their lessons, changed their name to AC and later ACN. They came with better candidates with better agendas. That's why Southwest states are revered as being enlightened and appears more developed than the SS despite the huge allocations being received by them monthly.

You can't compare egypt and Libya case. The one in Libya was backed by the US who installed their ally. ISIL being a US "enemy" would naturally go against such.

I heard Aljazeera is cheaper but the money you have to pay is kind of bulky cos you pay once in a year and you get to what almost all matches in the world.

Installation too is much and you've got to be living in your own house to use it cos the dish is very big.
In the long run its much cheaper than this rip-off.

I think average of between 5000-6000 monthly and you get a lot of channels.
