A few minutes ago, residents of Ibadan, particular the Bodija area, reported hearing a loud explosion which shook their buildings, door and windows. People in different parts of Ibadan also reported hearing the sound. Does anyone know the source? Was it a bomb?

I am following this. Someone very close to me is affected. Doors broken and windows shattered.

When you are Anambra governor did you evet listened to anyone advise?

If not for Obi no one will be speaking of cost cutting in government. Obi promoted the idea. He implemented it in Anambra state with outstanding results. He should be praised and emulated in saner climes. Above, there is a handover note showing the outcome of his deft handling of governance in Anambra State. The current effort at cost cutting by the BAT government is only of token value and can only impress people who are not thinking about the seriousness of the subject matter. Thats why the government should be called out lest they imagine they can lol us to sleep with their unsatisfactory effort. The discussion must continue despite the distraction from the mob.

Is it only the Ikwerres supposed to occupy these highly exalted offices in Rivers State? Is Wike a democrat? Only time will tell!

Sometimes some of us blame the governor for being nervous or quiet in the whole saga; this is the reason! To the extent that, when the goings were good between the duo, before the governor receives any visitor to the government house, he must notify wike in Abuja.

Correct the anomalies in the list and revert. Also make the list comprehensive because I don't believe that all positions are occupied by only Ikwerre.

Thanks to Obi for his political philosophy, thoughts. He will be copied but still be blamed for his suggestions to enthrone austere governance. Kudos great man. Obi is one of the greatest Nigerian that ever lived.

Lots of inconsistency in my opinion. The way you describe yourself i imagine you shouldn't really care about sustaining your family name. By the way the child you end up adopting may face challenges if he or she is raised with you outlook. My advice is either you change and get yourself a partner or you forget the idea of adopting.

Obi's performance elicited harsh criticisms and curses from the larger indigenes of Anambra. There's really no need dwelling much on his poor performances much as the media is replete of reports of his underwhelming records. On this forum, i have lost count of the amount of threads tearing him apart when he was Governor.

You are not objective. Everyone will not like Obi's performance but I can assure you that majority of Anambrarians feel the impact of his government. The naysayers are in minority. Statistics and bank records don't lie. Obi left huge amounts in the coffers, a first in Nigeria. He achieved great feats in infrastructural development, road construction, education facilities, etc. But I don't expect you to agree with me as I can decipher you have made up your mind. Your opinion doesn't matter and will not change the truth anyway. Those threads you referred to are sponsored to feed the appetite of its consumers. However the stories are twisted to make Obi look bad and the creators know there are candidates who are just out to hear anything negative about Obi like your good self. We pray for good leadership and for our hateful compatriots to have a change of heart so we can bring real statesmen on board to help midwife the Nigeria of our dreams.

Politically, Obi was a nobody until he was picked up from obscurity by Ojukwu and Umeh. Ojukwu fought the fight of his life to ensure his victory in court and that sealed the consequences of the curses laid upon him the minute he dumped APGA for PDP.

Your comments have nothing to do with his ability to function as a governor or president. The worst scoundrels are existing in the limelight and have brought the country to her knees as very bad examples in leadership.

He has passed on but his life has not ended. I wish him joyful activities in the beyond and pray that in the beyond he comes to a better knowledge of the beautiful creation and move his way back to the luminous gardens of paradise as awaits each and every one of us. Your ability to villify an individual just because he belongs to the opposing side makes you shortsighted. It is based on solid personal records of achievements which showcases hardwork and all of the great values. Obi was not made by APGA or PDP. His life has been exemplary right from his secondary school days. He has always owned his own business. Only a man of such background can lead this country out of the woods. Politician who are tainted can never achieve greatness for our beloved country. It true we are evolving but we can accelerate the process by having individuals like Peter Obi.

Voting against Obi candidate was never a vote of no confidence against Obi. You guys don't understand Igbo at all. We voted APGA because Valentine was relatively unknown compared to Soludo and the voters opted for the devil they know. If Soludo falls he will be voted out. Obi is loved by Anambrarians and majority of Nigerians.
