There is nothing to say. The demolitions are part of government effort to recover the restricted natural water ways. It's very painful for the building owners. But what to do. Several areas are experiencing flooding due to the blocked water ways. My sympathy goes to people who are affected.
benuejosh: Let me know when they start to produce petrol. For now they can only produce diesel, kerosine, lubricant and maybe asphalt. Which is excellent for the economy.
And those IPOB terrorists should be watched keenly. They are capable of doing nonsense.
Simon ekpa is a comedian. I see him as such. How can a soldier so highly placed even consider him as an opposing force. The problem in the SE is this perceptions of marginalization which the youths have misunderstood as solely the fault of the federal government while ignoring the misrule of the SE governors. This perceptions can always be manipulated by anyone. Simon ekpa is a none entity. The solution is to change the narrative.
CoronaVirusPro: His Excellency, President Aswaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) has already inaugurated a panel of brilliant minds to look into the possibilities and adverse effects of such development.
Brenbentondiaz: Ah yeah! Everyone knows the originators of tribalism, who killed all the political and military leaders of other regions and spared theirs were Yorubas. I don't know why you lot think everyone is igbo.
It's a great idea to for merger. However the most urgent need is electoral reforms. The electoral system is filled with gaps. The law enforcement during elections is poor and should be reviewed. INEC staff has been accused of writing results ahead of time. How can we reform the system to make this unattractive or at least provable in court. How can law enforcement be equipped so they can successfully investigate and prosecute criminal activity in our elections with or without the support of INEC.
joefelin2345: And what about your own tribe if I may ask? Are they Angels? Mind you these same Yoruba that you are castigating together with very very few other tribes fought for this Democracy that you are struggling to enjoy. Where were your own tribe during the struggle for this Democratic dispensation if I may ask? What is even your own tribe's contributions towards the emancipation of this country since it's inception? Tell us pls.
You see the kind of democracy you so called people fought for. We are now fighting to take democracy to the level it should be. We are traditionally a democratic society where everyone's voice is heard and competition is acceptable, not killed.
How I wish we could be more reticent with our achievement. Our selfish and evil neighbors will only think of evil befalling us or even take part in undoing us.
masseratti: Dead on arrival... It's a good tax tho.. Especially for those empty houses in Abuja with no occupants, maybe this will drag down the price of houses in Abuja if people fill those empty houses, because I see no reason why someone should be paying taxes in those big houses like 20 a year with no one staying in it.
Keep doing good Peter the rock. Nigeria will survive on your principles of integrity, thrift, simplicity, no matter how long it takes. We will get there
I agree with Akaja. I see no point in going to the court because the criminality will be sustained. End up wasting time and resources. Politicians who what to win election are thus encouraged to do so by any means necessary.
I shudder at some comments that tend to support winning by any means necessary. Even if you rig and win shows you are popular and then legit. With time it can only lead to breakdown of law and order. People will simply plan on time to take laws into their own hands.
Davicl: I wish your state uzodimma kind of governor, I'm not From imo i have never been to imo but sharing a country with Yoruba is the worst thing that can happen to any human
I feel you bro. Something must give. These people will destroy us if we keep still.
The western world, Asians will strive to preserve traditional/ancient religious practices. Down here we showcase a holier than thou attitude by pretending to have an aversion for traditional worship, idolatory. Hence our people will demolish shrines and condemn idol worshippers. Have we shown the idol worshippers any better example to make the idol worshippers make a change. The answer is no.
I saw this clip on Twitter yesterday but find it hard that Igbo will go desperately low to go sell drug in Taliban republic of Afghanistan.
Anyway, the flogging no be here the devil 😈 himself no fit flogging person thoroughly pass this one. Please enjoy the video.
