Your calling as a Christian is not limited to bearing Bible names, speaking spiritual languages, engaging in spiritual activities but living the life of sacrifice. We have access to God and forgiveness of sin because Jesus Christ bore the pains of the penalty of sin. Into this you are also called; to live to fulfill God's purpose in every facet of life.

As long as you live, you must be mindful of the fact that you are required to live a life of sacrifice and live for the will of God alone. To live a life of sacrifice, you must put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. Until a man becomes alive to his calling he will rather be a curse than a blessing to every domain of his placement.

+ Are you living a life of sacrifice?

Lord! Help me to be alive to my calling as a living sacrifice for you in Jesus name. Amen!!!

Your life will only be useful to God as a living sacrifice and nothing else!!!

God must lead you if He must stand by you to bring His word to pass. What God wants to do in your life will only be possible if you make Him the anchor of your life. Abraham did not just step out and go into the land he did not know at his age but he did in response to God's Word. Miracle will happen on your path each time you step out in response to the word of God.

Your career, desire for riches, fame, money, power, connection and the likes is a potential driving force that can determine the perspective of your destiny. When these things become your anchor, they rob you of the life God wants to give you and bring you into an experience that is not in His plans for you. When you make the word of God your anchor; you will fulfil your mandate and enjoy divine support in your pilgrimage.

+ Is the word of God the anchor of your life?

Lord! Strengthen my heart to make your word the anchor of my life in Jesus name. Amen!!!

You cannot separate your experience from the choices you are making. Both good and bad choices will give a man the corresponding experience. In everything you do, be mindful of the fact that God cannot be mocked. To walk and work in disobedience to God's will and expect divine reward is to deceive yourself and an attempt to mock God.

Our knowledge and experience are not enough to help us to make the right choice. It is only God who holds tomorrow and rule in all affairs of men that can help us. You will only have the right experience and have victory when you make the right choice. The experience Joseph had was a type that ushers him into God's plan for him because he made the right choice. Submit to God's will for your life and honour Him with your decisions.

Sinning against God, going against rules for healthy living based on the peculiarities of your body and emotional stability are the major causes of sickness. Every nonchalant attitude displayed towards your health will have a detrimental effect on your prosperity in every facet of life.

One of the weapons of the evil one to slow a man down and deactivate his strength is sickness. Hence, do not sin against God and your body. The ultimate desire of God for your life is to be healthy. Take every precautionary measure required of you to stay healthy in a time like this. It is when you are healthy that you can be used by God to achieve great things and pursue your dreams.

Be mindful of the fact that God can never be short of human resources. This same also applies to the secular world; preserve your relevance by obeying rules associated with living healthy physically and spiritually.

+ Do you present yourself to obey laid down rules for healthy living?

Lord! Nothing will shake me, no evil will befall me and neither shall any plague come near my dwelling in Jesus name. Amen!!!

Every good thing of life comes as a product of sacrifice. We must go on in the journey of destiny thinking of what to do and how to make a mark in the sand of time. No man can boast of the fact that he never enjoyed the benefits of the sacrifices of men. The beauty of your life emanates from the sacrifices of men who took care of you.

Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice that gave every man access to God. The likes of Joseph, Abraham and David made unique sacrifices that places them in the chronicles of people who fulfil the purpose of God. Every call of God in your life is a call to a life of sacrifice. Do not hesitate to give your best to serve God and humanity. Present yourself to serve God reasonably by blessing other lives with your existence!

Just like it was established that life is in phases so also the challenges of life. Hence, don't die today because of the tomorrow you don't know nor the future that you don't know what it holds.

Keep hope alive and live in anticipation of a better tomorrow. All men who lived and enjoy their pilgrimage on earth were not men who don't have challenges but those who chose to be happy by finding joy in the Lord while hoping for the best despite the challenges in their lives. Irrespective of the issues in your life you must never give up believing that "all will be well".

Jesus came to live among men to show us the way of life. His teachings were the truth we need to know to set us free in every life's issue. The manner He healed men from their sicknesses, fed them, counselled them and gave them peace; is the way He gives life.

If you must see God and reign with Him eternally; you must know Jesus. He is our model; you don't know the way until you know Him.

In this life, we will be faced with several issues which will tend to make us give up on our good dreams and God's promises. Again, you must be mindful of the fact that you will only live successfully and peacefully by faith alone. No matter what your situation is telling do not forget what God has told you.

You must be optimistic about life; not because of what you have, the resources at your disposal, perception of a bright future but confidence in what God can do and what He says He will do. The woman in our text affirmed that everything is all right despite the death of her son. Her affirmation became her experience.

Nothing is wrong with you as long as you remain faithful to God to walk in his ways. Everything happening to you is working for you and your good. Make things right in your world through faith in the word of God!

The case of your life does not require something big but simple acceptance and obedience to God's word. Every miracle begins with accepting and believing God's word. As you proceed in destiny, be mindful of the fact that the ultimate currency for your survival is faith. Don't argue with God nor give room to threat coming from various issues of life; just believe God.

The beautiful story of the likes of Joseph, Daniel and the three Hebrews was possible because they denied themselves at a point in time. If they choose not to, their case would be different from what is known about them. A man will only receive the strength to live victorious as God's Children each time he denies himself!!!

We enter into several situations that are not in the plan of God for us because at certain times we fail to deny ourselves. It is not the plan of God for the lives of Achan and Gehazi to end the way it ended. Their stories would be different if they had denied themselves.

All men who ended their journey in life gloriously with several achievements did that by denying themselves. As you proceed in destiny be mindful of the fact that you must deny yourself to submit to God's will in every facet of life.

+ Are you living for Christ?

Lord! I receive the grace to deny myself and live in dominion in Jesus name. Amen!!!

There is nothing you do for God that is in vain. There is a reward for everything you do. God does not reward a man based on the position he holds but reward the works of men irrespective of who they are and whether it is commendable, wonderful, visible to men or not.

With the way you are handling the things of God; the Lord is mindful of it. He said He will never forget the labour of your love even if nobody knows about it nor compensate you for it. At every point in time, I keep hearing the Lord saying: I know your works, not your position or personality. It is only what you do for God that will be rewarded in eternity.

We have come to a dispensation where people no longer have time for God; they give their prime useful years to seek bread and worldly pleasures. God will not make mistake; He will not reward you for what you did not do and will not give to another the reward meant for you.

+ What benefit is your useful life to God? What will be your reward?

Lord! Help me to serve you all the days of my life in Jesus name. Amen!!!

I read a post which says that: "when God gives you a status don't make yourself a statue". There is nothing you become without the help and approval of God. Don't take the place of God no matter the level of your placement in life.

Joseph has the opportunity to back what his brothers did to him in their coin but he didn't because he honoured God knowing fully well that vengeance belongs to him. When grace is made available to you to succeed in academics, business, ministry, marriage don't speak ill or scorn those who appeared to be struggling or trusting God for a better life.

When it appears as if men are not pleasing God with their lives and chose to be disobedient; do make yourself a judge over their lives. No matter what you feel about a man be mindful of the fact that only God has the final say over him. Also, don't influence people to depend on you teach them to know and depend on God!!!

+ In what ways are you taking the place of God?

Lord! Help me to always trust my life to you and allow you to have your way in Jesus name. Amen!!!

We can only have what God has given us and we can never have what He has taken away from us. No matter what a man achieve in life the fact remains that he will return naked in the manner he was born.

The life of a man who previously earned $100 but later got a new job which gives him $1000 will change a bit. As times goes on the manner in which the $100 is not enough so also will the $1000. The man who stole or embezzled a huge amount of money placed at his disposal will never be satisfied but will continue to seek more to embezzle. The joy over what you are trusting God to do in your life will diminish with time when it is accomplished because of the desire for something much better.

You are not an achiever in the land of the living until you find God through Christ. Life is given to worship, serve and please God.

No matter how turbulent the situation of your life may be; it will not continue the same way. God plans to give you rest on every side.

The word of God in our text was coming to the children of Israel after many have perished in the wilderness as a result of their sins and unbelief. They settled in the long-awaited promised land and every war before them ended.

In this season the Lord will give you rest from all your troubles, sorrow, challenges, sickness. Grace will be made available in every aspect of your incapacitation and all your battles will come to an end. Believe the Lord and Hold on to His word for you. It will be said of you that the Lord has given you rest on every side.

There is no man without a limitation in various aspect of life. All men who succeed did that even with the limitations in their lives. Also, men who succeed have various excuse not to. Hence, each time you discover a hurdle to your success you are required to trust God to help you overcome it.

Do not give up on your dream to succeed because of any setback; find strength in God to put more effort until your goal is achieved. Be mindful of the fact that strength alone can't give you the desired success. In everything you do, don't forget the fact that wisdom is the principal thing. Wisdom begins with acknowledging and referencing God.

The life we have is given to us to give it meaning. At the end of your life, people will define it base on the meaning you give to it. Many people are living for nothing because their existence does not add any value to their generation.

Life became meaningless to
King Solomon when he lived his prime age to act contrary to God's will. Afterwards, he came to an important conclusion after exploiting the best things that life offers in his own time that everything is meaningless without God and that the principal duty of a man is to fear God and live by His principles (Eccl 12). He also admonishes us to remember the Creator in the days of our youth.

There is more to life than all of life's achievement. The way you lived on earth defines your blessedness in the heart of men and eternity.
Give your existence a meaning by living to please God at all cost. Allow God to fulfil His purpose and do His good pleasure through your life.

The peace of the land is your peace; so also its blessing. You can only worship God, go about your daily activities, pursue a career, celebrate God's goodness over your life when there is peace in the land. The happenings in the nation directly or indirectly affect your life.

What do you say about your nation and your leaders? If all you are saying about it will come to pass; how will your situation be with respect to the situation of the nation? God depends on your prayers and your positive confession over the nation and the leaders. Don't ever say you have nothing to do with the current situation affecting the nation.

You can never be as wise as the Lord who advised you to pray for the peace of the land because it holds your peace and prosperity. As you take the responsibility to pray for the nation the Lord will make you enjoy the goodness of the Lord in the land of your living in Jesus name. Amen!!!

No matter what a man feels the fact remains that the truth will always be the truth. It can never be covered forever nor be killed. The truth will always manifest at the most critical time. Every true wise man doesn't stand against the truth but stands for it. The earlier a man knows and accepts the truth the better for him.

A man will continue to live in guilt as long as he continues to struggle with the truth. The truth is meant to set you free. Hence, acknowledged and accept the truth as long as you live. It is only a matter of time the truth about everything about you will be made known. Be mindful of the following:

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Rom.6.23)

"Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." (John.3.3)

"Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." (John.14.6)

A man of purpose lives for something. You have not come to the understanding of your purpose on earth until your experience is tailored towards helping you to be what God wants you to be!!!

In the text, the major reason why Apostle Paul and other disciples had the experiences they had was revealed. In all things they commended themselves as ministers of God: in much patience, in tribulations, in needs, in distresses, in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in sleeplessness, in fastings;" (2 Corinthians 6:4-5); Just to win Christ and be a partaker of His Glory.

Jesus was nailed on the cross to save the entire human race.
Joseph was a slave for a purpose, Daniel was in the Lions' den for a purpose. The three Hebrews passed through fire to prove a point for the Glory of God. What will your life turn out to be with respect to your experiences so far in life? Why is your life like this? It will be a very difficult question to answer if you don't know the perspective of your destiny.

Lord! I will not waste away; I receive grace to fulfil purpose in this wilderness of life in Jesus name. Amen!!!

Focus: Who is a Christian?

It is only those that Christ has taken something from their lives and given them His own life and they have started living out this life that are called Christians!!!

It is not enough to bear bible names, attend churches and programs, speak spiritual languages and mingle with spiritual people; to be a Christian you must allow Christ to live His life in you.

The first set of people called Christian were not just mere men but disciples. The people in their environment studied them for one year and they saw a great semblance between them and Christ (i.e. they behaved exactly like Christ ). So they concluded that they were Christians.

Something remarkable happens to a man when he becomes a Christian; this changes His actions, thinking, conduct and mind. When you call yourself a Christian and living differently from the life of Christ; you are more or less an agent of darkness. To be a Christian you must be a disciple of Jesus.

Discipleship is a process that helps someone who has the nature of Christ to grow into His fullness. An unbeliever can only become a disciple when he has become a born again Christian because you cannot feed a lizard to become a crocodile. Although they look alike, their nature is different.

Focus: Everything in Life is a Privilege

Life is beautiful when you know and understand that nothing in life is by force. Despite the fact that you must try and put good effort to get the best in whatever you do, the fact is that you must never forget that everything in life is a privilege!!!

The breath we have is what allowed us to be who we are and having the hope of what we want to be. It is the ultimate gift of God to all mankind. As long as a man has breath in him there is no limit to what he can become. Hence, nothing in life is compulsory but the breath of God in you.

You don't need to be sad or become dejected because of anything in life; enjoy every moment of your privilege on earth praising God. The fact about life is that the beautiful future we are looking forward to may come or not; we are created to worship and fulfil God's purpose as long as we live and that we must always do. Don't allow anything to shake you; be always happy even as you praise God always and you will never have trouble.

Misbehaviour is what makes a man a bastard. What makes a man a legitimate child of God is the conformity of his life to that of Christ!!!

A man can only claim to be a child of God if and only if he resembles Christ in his attributes. If we bear Christians names, speaks spiritual languages, engage in spiritual activities but fails to live the life of Christ in loving, forgiving, simplicity of life, caring and making the will of God the Father a priority we do not belong to Him.

The Lord Jesus made it clear to us that several men, despite their self-acclaimed labour for God, will be rejected. Whatever you do in deviation to the life of Christ, the author and the finisher of our faith, is regarded as misbehaviour under God. Legitimate children God don't live in sin; their lives are characterized by love, righteousness, holiness and Godliness.

Lord! I receive the grace to deny myself and resemble Christ in His attributes in Jesus name. Amen!!!

Focus: When you reward evil for Good

There is no other way to sow an evil seed into your destiny than to reward evil for the good done to you. Evil will never depart from the house of any man who rewards evil for good!!!

It is the will of God for all His people to overcome evil by doing what is good. Hence, when a man fails to forgive his neighbour, show love as required by God and engage in vengeance; he has succeeded in sustaining evil. There is no justification for any man to do evil for any reason. This is the will of God.

Some men make themselves available to be used by the devil to do evil. Some men summon the courage to bite the hands that feed them. Some people have taken over the business, entitlement, enterprise, ministry, position and homes of their master who provided solace for them in the time of their needs. Whenever a man presents himself to act in these manners, he has succeeded in sowing an evil seed that will never depart from his house.

+ How do you reward those who do good to us?

Lord! I receive the grace to always overcome evil with good and do good to men who are blessing to my life in Jesus name. Amen!!!

When a man repays evil for good, evil will never depart from his life!!!

When the mind is polluted; the sense of judgement will be wrong. In your relationship with men, relate with them based on what you see and can verify about them and the pure conviction of your mind but not what you were told about them!!!

Each time the devil and his agents wants to win over a man, they pollute his mind. This was the strategy used for Eve. As humans, we are limited in various areas of life. If care is not taken as far as our relationships are concerned, we will fail in our responsibilities towards men or even miss the blessings God preserved for our lives through them.

Some people because of the grudges they bear in their mind as a result of what they were told missed the chances they had for fulfilling their God's given dream through a covenant helper. Sometimes, the way we see God is a function of what we were told about Him by men based on their personal experience with Him or what they feel about Him.

Don't give room for pollution! Always pay attention to what is true, honourable, just, pure, lovely, commendable, excellent and anything worthy of praise!

+ What is the basis of your conviction about men and God?

Lord! I receive the grace to discern the right disposition to various issues of life in Jesus name. Amen!!!

The greatness of Abraham begins with the promises of God for Him as He walks in absolute obedience to God's word for him. The step Abraham took in the direction of his calling brings about what he represents from generation to generation. Everything the Lord has said will surely come to pass but in the premises of his promises.

You must believe God to do what he wants to do in your life and you be wise enough to obey and follow Him as He leads you in destiny. It is when your life aligns with the purpose of God that His word will come to pass in your life. The more we err from obeying and responding to His word the more we deviate from His promises for us.

Several unknown awaits us in life with respect to our marriage, career, business, ministry and other aspects of life. You must allow God to lead and guide you in every step you take in destiny.

The fact that we cannot but enter the unknown establishes the need to hear from God and obey him as we proceed in destiny. Grace will only be made available in the unknown when you follow God in His steps as He leads. No matter how foolish God's leading may appear to be; it the pathway of wisdom meant to helps a man to have the life God wants to give him!!!

There are several questions of life that no man but only God, can answer. One of the most important attributes of God is that He doesn't make mistakes. That you are short or tall, light or dark in complexion, male or female, young or old at this point is never accidental. Therefore, your creation was not by mistake in the first place. You are created to fulfil a definite purpose.

There is a story God wants to use your life to write for the learning of men in this generation and the one to come just as we read in the bible passage above. Those things you don't have and the ones that look like an omission in your life are those areas of your life reserved to be used by God to prove His mighty act and ability in your life.

The omissions in your life are the object of your miracle. Irrespective of the situation of your life the fact remains that the plan of God over your life remains. Abide in Him; as He works out His plans over your life at its appointed time.

The benchmark of the Christian life is not of the world but the will of God as it is in Heaven. No matter how beautiful the activities of men may be; it is not acceptable before God until it is in line with His will in Heaven!

Life has proven over time that no matter how impactful and indispensable the life of a man may appear to be he cannot live forever. You cannot separate your life from what is happening in heaven.

Therefore, you have not prayed until you seek the Kingdom of God and ask for help to do the will of God as it is done in Heaven. The lifestyle which serves as a benchmark to determine your identity as a child of God is not of man but in heaven.

Our Father who is in Heaven will not but always react to your lifestyle at every point in time. Therefore, you have not served God until you serve him just as it is expected of every man in heaven. You are not following until you follow based on the model presented in heaven. There is no point in pleasing a man with whom you have a very short time. Try as much as possible to always please God just as it is expected in Heaven.

Lord! Let your Kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven in Jesus name. Amen!

To be small in any aspect of life is not a curse but to remain small with respect to time. You are not healthy until you grow progressively with time in various aspect of life. The Lord wants to see you grow from the level you are. His ultimate expectation for you is that you should be a refuge for men and a blessing to several generations.

Even though you appear small today the Lord sees you like a very big tree with many branches providing a cover for many spiritually, academically, financially, maritally, professionally; this is the kingdom of God! You must submit yourself to His will to experience Him in the land of the living. See that you grow under God from being a liability to an asset in every aspect of life.

The Lord Jesus Christ is our model and what we see Him doing as revealed to us in the scripture is that He prayed perseveringly in all situations. The degree of your prayer life is the measure of how much you put your trust in God.

Pray continually, even when situations appear as if your prayers are not answered. Don't be wary when it seems as if the needed divine attention is not given to it. Your victory may be nearer than you think. It is very dangerous for a man to be tempted not to pray any more about his life.

Every prayer presented to God is a seed. There are good things you never prayed for that came your way. There are troubles of life that you escaped without any preparation in terms of prayer. Praying is your primary assignment and a weapon to live in dominion as a child of God.

Your faith determines your experience. You cannot live victoriously and successfully without faith as a child of God. Achieving a great feat spiritually and in all ramifications of life is not possible with people with a feeble mind but men who know their God and have faith in Him to do great exploit.

Whenever you are being faced with a situation that tends to frightens you; the best way to calm yourself down is by believing that all will be well. In the time past, we were being faced with several situations which have turned out to be testimony. The ones before you at present will also be like one of them.

We are in a world where a man will be set to enter into another issue while coming out of an issue. In the midst of tribulations and challenges associated with your faith and the quest for a better future, you must keep faith alive and believe that all will be well!!!
